Really slow not sure the food, beer, or price are worth the wait.

Good beer and good appetizers. Didnt have any main course food. Paulino Cheese Dip and Cheese Curds were delicious!

Great food and drink. I got the white cap pizza which was very good. Small was actually big. Someone with us got the tuna sandwich and it was a big cut of tuna.

Place is so slow at making food. Kids pizza took almost 1 hour to make. Couldnt never get a refill on soda or water within 15 minutes of asking the waiter. The price and quality of the food versus the long wait time is not worth it. I would have rather drove to Giovannis all the way in Taylorsville and ate there instead. Definitely will never be back and nobody I know will even give this place a thought.

I use to love coming here then they changed their fountain drinks to cans at like $3 a can and with a family of 6 that gets costly. They also took away their cider on draft to cans. So I guess I’ll be finding another place to hang out and eat.

We recently had a family social the Friday night before our wedding. Management was easy to work with planning & great at following up. Food was awesome & service was fantastic. Especially since we had about 75ish thirsty people in our party. The patio was great for our large crowd. We highly recommend them for dinner or large planned gatherings.

Great shaded beer garden that was dog friendly. Service was slow as we had already eaten our appetizer before we got our drinks (tea and water). The food was not great, chips overdone and the pizza tasted like it could have been a frozen Totino’s with extra cheese thrown on it. But very clean and friendly. My guess you go here for the beer not the food.

Good classic IPA. But I had the margarita pizza and it came on a crust that was like a crispy thin cracker and had no sauce on it… a margarita pizza with no sauce? The cheese was barely melted. It was pretty bad I wouldn’t call it pizza. The bartender wasn’t very familiar with their beers either.

The pizzas are great and the wait staff were very cool.

Amazing staff and amazing food! We came in on a Saturday with a basketball team of 20 people and they were very accommodating to us!! The brisket tacos were a hit! Thank you to all the staff for quick service!

Food was awesome! Beer and cider terrific but differently not a place to go to watch a sporting event. Kept music on...couldnt hear event and ENTIRELY TOO COLD INSIDE

Very hit or miss spot. Sometimes it can be fantastic. Other times the sanitation and food safety is questionable. I was once served a moldy salad with brussel sprouts so out of date they were gray. Maybe stick with the beer, it’s always good.

Stopped for a drink and to use the wifi for work. We had our dog with us. They were very nice and the location is cool. We sat in the beer garden area where they had a bunch of heaters outside. Dogs are not allowed inside because they serve food. But that wasnt a problem. They brought our dog a bowl of water. The beer was good. The staff was very nice! We would go again.

Ordered 2 appetizers and it was over a 2 hour wait. This is info when I ordered that should of been shared with me. I asked 4 servers to check on the order and none of them came back to give an update. Short staffing if one thing but not being proactive and ignoring guests is another. Very disappointing

We had a good experience the last time we went and thought we would return. However this time they completely dropped the ball. We were there for over 2 hours and watched all the people around us receive their orders that came in after us. And by the time we FINALLY got our food it was very overcooked and the order was not what we wanted. We were offered a better pizza but would have to wait even longer to wait for it. The bill was still pricey despite the mishap.

Delicious food, enjoyed the pretzels with beer cheese and the Carolina Bison Burger. Beer was cold like it should be, loved my experience here!

Always a good experience! I think were 3 for 3! My husband loved his Reuben and I always get the roasted veg, thin crust pizza. Hard to stop eating it and bring some (almost half😬 home.We love eating outside in the open area. Great service too.

What a great place. We walked in with 22 people on a Friday night. We were sat and had great service. Strongly recommend the burger and cheese churds. Not a craft beer guy but the others in the party were and they all like there beers. Place had a great vibe. We will visit again when in the area.

I love this place! The staff is always friendly. The food is always on point. And the beer is absolute quality craft beer! Great music on Saturdays and if you’ve never had Chicago deep dish pizza, this is the place to try it at. I’m from Chicago so I’m picky but this place makes a solid Chicago pie

Our experience was not fantastic at all. The server was very nice but was not very good at her job. We ordered drinks and hubby ordered a captain and coke and I ordered a apple crown and sprite. They did not have captain Morgan and asked if he wanted a different rum and named a couple so he chose. Shortly after, we received our drinks. My apple crown was not apple crown but regular crown and the sprite was out of syrup so it was straight crown and carbonation. So when she came back I told her. She took my drink away to replace it. She came back and said they did not have crown apple and thats why it was straight crown. Wow I wasnt asked if I wanted something else they made their own decision of what I wanted to drink. So we ordered apps got the pretzels and the fried cheese curds. They were great but the beer cheese was very thick and broken Too much roux. Our entrees were the portobello sandwich for me and hubby got the brisket tacos. My sandwich was terrible the bread was soggy and the portobello were not cleaned and the diced red peppers were far and few. Hubbys food came out as fried duck legs she even asked what side he wanted but they brought a duck app out to him. So they had go make his food. We could not even enjoy our meal together. He said his tacos were good but lacked flavor and the jalepenoslaw consisted of three diced jalapenos on each. For the price we payed the food was unexceptable. I think with two stars is being generous.

Wonderful service all the time, this is my 4th visit and each time Ive loved the food and beer. Today I had the thin crust Margherita pizza which had a great homemade type of crunch and detail to the flavor, the sauce was delicious. Ive had the wings, fish and chips and bison burger before and out of everything, the bison burger is a must. If youre stuck on beer choices, you really cant go wrong with any of their Hazy IPA offerings or Kolsch. Would love to come back and try other pizzas and chicken sandwich.

The overall experience was great!! One of the pizzas was seemingly burnt, and our waitress was very sweet and apologetic! Offered to re-fire a new pizza but the cook said it would look the same... we definitely recommend this place! 👌🏾

Bailey and Marcus are awesome!!! We wanted to watch a really weird baseball game and they did not stop until we found it. We’re new to the area and they were so nice and so welcoming. And the food is delicious!!!! Thank you!!!!

Cant say that I leave many 5 star reviews but we make it a point to stop here when we are in the area. The location is great, the atmosphere is even better and the menu is simple but GOOD!I highly recommend trying a thin crust pizza! Its not the pre-made stuff so accommodations can be made to leave off a topping on half if you are traveling with someone who doesnt prefer something that you do and it will not disappoint !!! The White Cap was quite possibly the closest Ive had to a "perfect pie" with large chunks of chicken, bacon, and the perfect amount of alfredo sauce.Enjoy your travels!

Update 2/2020: service and menu and have gotten better. Had a great experience at Blowing Rock. Since they changed ownership the menu was condensed but it still offers enough option to satisfy anyones appetite. I had the bison burger that was grilled to excellence. I asked for medium and it was cooked to medium. The sauce had a nice blend of spices, and the grilled onions were sauteed.Ive been eating here semi frequently over the past 3 years and it gets better. Theyve really focused on quality menu items that mash up ingredients.There are some traditional menu items for those, and they have some fun menu items to be creative.The bison burger was off the charts. It was ground (I like medium or slightly lessand it was executed perfectly. The grilled onion had that nice charred taste with the sweet/savory bbq sauce and topped with thick slices of bacon.Just look at the spinach artichoke dip. Thick, chunky peices with creamy sauce. The pita chips where slightly crispy and soft and fluffy on the inside.And the bison pizza. Are you kidding me? Incredible.Pretzel sticks were eaten in a flash.Service was excellent. We look forward to going back.

Limited menu during pandemic but all choices are great. Best pizza in Hickory! And pet friendly.

Oktoberfest! I really enjoyed the beer and food! The chips were great!We did not care for the live music they were playing, though.

Excellent pizza and wings and plenty of great freshly brewed beer in many styles. The Kolsch was superb. Service was spot on. Will be back for some live music as well.

Hands down the BEST pizza Ive EVER had! Growing up outside Chicago, its rare to find an amazing deep dish style around here.....but let me tell you.....FANTASTIC! Super fresh ingredients, delicious flavored dough.....if I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Service was top notch, really cool atmosphere, great pretzels and beer too of course! Dont miss out!

The beers are fantastic! Had the summer brews made of orange and pineapple. Their Scotch Ale is awesome too. Great wait staff! The outdoor seating area is nice and a good stage for live music!!

2nd time eating here, first time was decent. Very small menu, $16 for a burger in hickory should be GREAT, it was subpar, not much flavor, small and asked for medium rare, both our burgers were very well done. Couldnt even get pickles added. You can get a MUCH better burger at Hickory Station/Granite Falls brewery for cheaper.Service was good, and had a good beer selection, but the price and food quality is not worth near the price.

Some of the best food in Hickory. Bison burger is a standout, as are the pizzas. In a really neat restored mill building. There is a nice covered patio area for the warmer months.A variety of beers and other drinks available. Service is pretty good, especially for a brewery.A word of warning, if you’re sensitive to noisy environments it does get very loud when they have trivia or a band playing in the restaurant. Not a problem in the summer when the band is on the patio, but in the winter they move them into the dining area. Just something to keep in mind if that’s not your thing.

I have always been a huge fan of this place. Such a laid back atmosphere with a wonderful selection of beverages and a outstanding menu. I have tried many items on there menu and couldn’t complain about a single one. Everything here is so great, especially the pizza! I love being able to sit outside on a warm summer night playing corn hole with friends while we eat. This place is a 10 on my list!

This is the first review I have left anywhere but when i pay alot of money for a meal it should be at least decent. The chips are awesome that is the only reason I gave it 1 star. The pizza I ordered was awful; no flavor , very little toppings and burnt on top. Felt like I was eating a cardboard box.Save some money eat a frozen pizza any frozen pizza.

We came in and the place was not busy. It took 15 minutes to get drinks, then another 15 minutes for appetizers. We waited another hour for a chicken sandwich. It never came. Asked to cancel the order, 10 minutes later, and still no check.. if you have nothing to do.. great place. If you have a life... Go elsewhere!

Super cool atmosphere, pet friendly dining and games, live entertainment and delicious pizza!! If you have time, get the deep dish it takes about an hour to cook but it’s so worth it!!The beer selection is vast there is a flavor for everyone to enjoy!!

Went in for early dinner Sat. The band was playing and they were good but too loud for us. The only table was very close so we sat outside. The pretzel appetizer was good and the pizza was unique. The draft beer selection was small but really good beer.

Good food if you can manage to get it. It took us nearly two hours to get our food. The waiter had to enter the order twice because the kitchen lost the order. Then when we reported the problem to the manager she threw the waiter under the bus. I would recommend that you avoid this place until they get their act together

Amazing fresh food! House chips and Red Ryder pizza. Ranch is delicious & pizza was outstanding. We sat at the bar, and Erica was our bartender/server. She is superior! Great suggestions, wonderful personality. Can’t wait to go back! Beer is amazing as well.

Some menu items are a little overpriced, but the quality is incredible. Hand made fresh pizzas, authentic bison burger, and brewed in house ale! What more could you ask for? For the deep dishes to cook faster. But that actually might not be possible ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We ate here when we came through Hickory. My husband loved the burger and beer on tap. We tried the pretzels and cheese dip, they were awesome. The waitress was super we had. The facility was clean. We definitely would stop here again.

Came on a very busy night. Trivia was in process. Still had great service. Even though bartender said kitchen was slow due to crowd. I thought the food came very fast. Pizza was awesome. Very good customer service. Manager on duty checked on everyone personally to see how their experience was. She was very professional.

Started with the pretzels and beer cheese. Then ordered the fish and chips meal. Everything was terrific. Fast and friendly service. The Black IPA is amazing... get a growler to go.

Incredible selection of beers brewed on site, sophisticated and savory food offerings, and a friendly yet modern atmosphere. Sometimes food takes a little longer than expected but its definitely worth it!
