Royal National Hotel, 51 Bedford Way, London WC1H 0DG, Hun
Low-key, bi-level eatery offering ample pizzas with creative toppings plus sandwiches & salads.
The cafe is quite beautiful and the service is lovely. We had the chicken Tikka and fries, which were really good. The Hawaiian pizza was slightly burnt and lacking. Would recommend this beautiful restaurant for a drink or snack.
Pizzas and milkshakes were good
The pizzas arent the greatest quality for the price. Friendly people, but doesnt make up for the half eaten dinner.
Dont get the pizza! They force you to pay 10% service charge. For a small pizza you pay over £11. Just go to pizza hut or pizza express 5 minutes walk.
Relaxing, good service, good coffee and clean
Food was terrible. How they call themselves a pizza cafe I do not know. It was the equivalent of frozen pizza from the supermarket. Cocktails were also gross. Very pricey for the quality. Over £50 for 2 pizzas, a garlic bread and 2 cocktails and most was inedible. Do not waste your money or time.
Dont go here . We all became foodposied. Destroyed the hole trip.
Good place, decent food.
Quiet place, delicious pizza
OK pizza, some waiting for the pizzas (3 pizzas)... The club sandwich was not reccomendable, at least not the one I got served... Brown lettuce and rock hard bread, tasted absolutely nothing...
Worst pizza Ive ever eaten
Food cold coffee cold! I will not be back in a hurry!!
Fast and amazing food . Nice atmosphere
Table service and customer service are absolutely atrocious!! Never again
Standard. Good for informal meetings
A Pizza place that didnt have pizza!!
Good service and cheap pizzas. Great place to go with friends as there is a lot of seating space. Very cosy atmosphere
Perfect; Pizza, Coffee, Teas, Breakfast, Pasteries, a Delicious Deli range, Cakes, Italian Ice creams, salads, range of beverage including free beer...Blooms has the lot!
Really nice place to come to relax and enjoy value/quality for money paid!
Basic pizza place. Dont expect anything fancy but its decent value for money.
Relaxed place for coffee with decent food
Although the staff was nice, the pizza really wasnt. I took a Margherita: the tomato sauce didnt seem to be there and the topping was definitely not mozzarella!!I didnt eat it.As Italian, definitely wont recommend.
It is a quiet and beautiful place in the middle of this crazy city, delicious food, nice people, lovely atmosphere!
Sausage rolls not what they were, very disappointing. More serving staff needed, one person doing everything, money, food, hot drinks. Took ages, though the coffee was good. Weve been going regularly for ages, it was better than this.
Great food, lovely staff and student discount with a valid card!
Absolutely lovely people and Galin makes the best mochas and coffees, overall they are just great I’ve been around the area for 2 days and have been here 5 times, (also the pizzas are to die for!)
Very good coffee and pizza at a very reasonable price. The staff are friendly and helpful,
Dont try this place. Pizzas arent bad at all but the service is horrible and the local is horribly managed.
We waited half an hour for three pizzas before asking where they were- the answer was an unapologetic “okay we will make them.” They came out one by one every 15 min, the last one came out wrong and had to be re made. The entire time we sat and waited there was not one sorry ever said to us. This was NOT ADEQUATE SERVICE.
Good value for money for students. Has got student discount. And is also good quiet place for study
Wenn we came in, we were the only one who orderd two pizzas. We waited about 40 minutes and saw other people getting ther pizzas while they orderd long after us. I went to the counter and said: I think we lost the ticket. So we can wait another 10 minuten. Not the best impression you can get from a restaurant.
Avoid at all cost! Please save yourself a hour wait and get some food before you come back to the hotel. The service is way too slow.
So we were three People and all ordered Pizza. The waiter were polite but not overly friendly, and our seats were fine. We had three Pizzas and one order got confused, so we got the wrong one, but the guy working the counter was a new guy, so i dont mind the little mistake really. The Problem was the Pizzas, the pepperoni and ham were nearly flavourless, the spinach tasteless, the " tomatosauce " was just tomatopaste but the worst part was the cheese. I dont know what kind of cheese it was, but it was aweful, for the First time in 15 years i left something on my plate in a Restaurant. So I dont know about the sandwiches or anything else, but i would only advise the Pizza if you just want to stuff your stomach for cheap
Good pizza very friendly staff, nice quiet little spot
I come here all the time and Im served by the Warmest, happiest and most positive people! Every order I place is taken for me with a cheerful and happy smile. The sandwiches are superb and I get a sandwich here almost everyday of the week. Excellent pizzas done in a real Italian style oven, customisable toppings and unbeatable prices in London. I am always able to order anything I want ranging from salads, panninis that are nicely toasted, croissants and of course the sandwiches. I bother these amazing people with my unique and strange sandwich orders and they are always happy to take the order for my unique and overly customisable sandwiches, such as the one in the picture! This is a unique chicken, tomato, cheese (nicknamed CLC!with spinach, onions, and mayo! I highly recommend this place with its kindest staff, best food with customisable options and open from early morning to late at night. I highly recommend you come here if have a meeting, want to do some work on your laptop or just want to relax and read a book! Thank you to blooms and the amazing team!
Service is mixed; most of the staff are friendly and easy to talk to, but others seem to be trainees who act in a completely improffessional way - Ive seen a guy argue with his supervisor in front of me and other members of staff shout at each other. My worst experience was that once the man serving did not seem to know what was on their own menu; my advice - dont order the "Pizza Special". Not only does it seem to be the same thing every day, which completely defeats the point of it being "special", but I took about five minutes trying to explain what I wanted, while a queue built up behind me. As a person with asbergers I got quite stressed out. Also, the man was quite rude and offhand when I said that my friend and I were upstairs, demanding that we sit downstairs "because were about to kick everyone out of the upstairs area". Ive also walked in once in the morning and found it closed to anyone except hotel guests, but there was no sign on the door to advise of this. My only other real complaint is that you have to walk across the hotel forecourt and into the hotel itself if you need to use the bathroom.
So good , the test was fantasticThank you
Worst place in the world.. Cant get pizza in the morning cant get it at night STOP CALLING IT A PIZZA CAFE..CAUSE IT CERTAINLY ISNT, my lord, im pretty sure i just lost money and bought nothing, i lost 7 or so dollars in coins, all she did was give me back the notes i gave out and took all my coins and said she gave em to me in the form of notes... Uh... No.. Ya didnt, thanks for basically stealing my money..never go there.. Avoid avoid avoid! Staff could be so much better.
Good pizza but I think the staff need training in hospitality. I never heard the girl serving say please or thankyou once whilst waiting for my pizza.
Good environment to study and enjoy a good cuppa or pizza
A great place for breakfast and eat.Very good service, the coffe and the pizzas are delicious!
A great place to study and for work meetings.
Great place for a coffee and chat! Drinks are reasonably priced and there is always space available.
Amazing good simple pizza!
I went to this restaurant to purchase some late night coffee, as soon as I walked into the restaurant the cashier told said " we arent serving any more food in the rudest tone. Their were some non english speaking foreign girls in front of me who were trying to order. I could tell that they werent understanding what he was saying and he literally laughed in their face. After witnessing his disgusting attitude towards these girls I decided to help them out. I have never experienced such horrible customer service in my life!! NOT EVERYONE WILL SPEAK ENGLISH AND IF THEY DONT UNDERSTAND YOU DONT LAUGH IN THEIR FACES.
Great service, good and reasonably priced pizza. 20/10
I have visited this many times over the last few years but never again. It wasnt particular busy but 50 mins after ordering I had to ask for a refund as I had still not received my food. My custom has now been lost as there appears to be no attempt by the owners/managers to retain loyal custom.
Very affordable place with good coffee, friendly staff, nice music. The menu is limited to Toast, Bagels, Pizza and cold sandwiches / pastries (as well as the soup / salad of the day).
I really love this place. The food is standard, reliable and it is conveniently located, especially if you are a student studying at UCL. The morning gentleman who is Italian is really nice and friendly and the other staff members are chatty as well. Ive only had one incident with a gentleman at night, tall, reddish hair and beard, in which he was rude and I get the slight impression prejudice. I just try to avoid him when I go in as one rotten apple shouldnt spoil an overall good experience.
Very nice, quiet place to eat with fair prices and a great service.
