Modern mall with trendy shops & restaurants, plus indoor rock climbing & a movie theater.
Block 37 is a city within a city. Just about everything you need or want for every day living is there. Are you hungry? Theres a lot of places to eat there, especially if youre in the mood for a great grilled cheese sandwich, stop at Gale Vs Best Ever Grilled Cheese in the lower level. I garentee youll be coming back again. There are so many places to visit that there is no way you can get boarded there. So stop in Block 37 and I garentee that youll have a great time, and you will be going back frequently.
Safe place to transfer from Blue Line to Red Line here.
Good start, but it isnt really ready yet. Once more shops are added and fill in the very noticeable empty spaces I imagine itll be more worth the while.
Lots of shops but I wish they were open later in the evening. Also more bathrooms, or unlocked bathrooms, would be great.
Pretty good food! Nice seats! Very clean. A little pricy, but what theater isnt these days! My go-to theater experience
The bulldog was okay but they should not have stores like Royal Bee because I tried their product and their product made my face burn. Don’t go into that store and don’t buy anything because you can’t return anything. Also, the sales rep like Cori are completely unprofessional.
The movie theater is great a nice & clean place to be♥♥♥♥❗❗
Went to AMC to watch movie, nice seats, bar, food. New ordering food kiosk, no employees. Food is delivered to seat. Still have to get alcohol at bar. More empty stores. New simulated golf in mall and gym with climbing wall. Masks no longer required.
So here at Block 37 now and overall everything is lack luster. The first red flag was the unenthused bartender and the watered down drinks. The next red flag was the dry, tough and burnt burger. I slowly started to hear everyones upsetment with their food. This was enough to ask for a refund and never return but my boyfriend really wanted to see this movie so I relented. The final straw came with a power outage that occurred during the climax of the movie - with nothing to offer other than rewatching the movie or receiving a voucher to return. I chose neither. I promptly got a refund on this atrocity of this failing mall and movie theater
A typical inside city mall. Multi-levels and Cleaner than others and has some good stores. The AMC movie theatre is on the top floor.
Great area in the Loop to chill out, eat and/or catch a movie. 😊
First time going onto upper floors looking at all that is offered for a shopping experience. Great place for buying gifts and having lunch.
Simply an awesome place to visit, shop, people meet and take in a movie. Splendid experience.
food was terrible!!! hamburger taste like...something... idk . Drinks taste like .....something . Just watch the miscue dobt wat or drink
Very beautiful mall with a variety of restaurants, jewelry stores and boutique clothing stores. I found this mall because I was heading to the blue line station. If youre searching for the blue line train station, it is through this mall on the ground floor.
I frequent the Banana Republic Factory Outlet (Everything is 50% off), Which Wich & the AMC Dine In Theater. All great!
Went into four stores (Anthropologie, Banana Republic, that plant studio store, Sephoraand not one person spoke. Not so much as a hello. They sure did watch me, though. And the stores were virtually empty too, so they werent busy. Its 2022. Do better. Im not spending any money in your stores when I dont feel comfortable and am being profiled.
Other than the AMC this is a mostly empty mall with some higher end stores and a mostly disinterested crowd. I guarantee more people visit here to transfer between trains than come for the shops. The AMC is great though.
I love to come here to use the climbing gym and then go watch a movie at the AMC theater. They have a good selection of stores for shopping. A blue line stop is at this location as well.
The perfect place where to go shopping and watch a movie (on the 4th floor). In a perfect location, very near the Lake station it is a top shopping mall with excellent services
Love going to plays at this theatre. Always have great performances!
Kinda dead ngl, mid movie theater but good boba in pedway
A beautiful place but I didnt smell food cooking so I guess the restaurants are still closed and planning to open later I love it.
I stopped in to Block 37 to stop into Zara and Sephora. I shopped in Zara, I like how this location is organized and then I went into Sephora to pick up my birthday gift. Love this location for the ease of shopping.
I took my husband there for his birthday to see a movie an he loved it he wants to come back again this will be our date nights at the movies
Stores to shop, they have a public restroom, restaurants to eat and places to sit down and rest or recharge....
A bit crowded, but good.
The shopping was a good as well didnt make a purchase but was temp too... lol
Block 37 is a nice place to go for a walk, movie, shopping, or even a quick round of virtual golf.Even a good place to sit and do some work on a laptop or phone.
Its feels different since Covid. But I enjoyed my movie and they still bring your food to you, great service.
I usually just go here for the movies in the AMC upstairs. The theater is great I love it. Im indifferent to the rest of the mall but thats because Im not a big fan of Zaras, Akira or the Francescas inside. Ive been inside of them though and they seem nice and orgagnized. Theres not much to eat here right now so I wouldnt really plan for a meal. Maybe a snack downstairs if you go to the bakery? The cheesecake is really good. It was around $10 though for a small bit. The drinks are awesome at the bakery too!
Not much in there. Very few people midday on a Wednesday. Seems to be still in a growth stage with stores opening over the next few months.
A great place to go shopping, eat or just hang out. Lots of great options. Climbing, golfing, movie theater and more. Great cafeteria and easily accessible with the train station on the bottom floor.
Reasonable price. Close to the theaters, especially Nederlander. Appears to be safer than some of the more open garages. Not crowded. Clean for a garage.
It was nice! I had my granddaughter with me.. A stroller would of been great.. I didnt see any but i did not go very far into the place. I did enjoy the shops that i went to!
I love the Sephora & Zara in this mall, but there could be more. There are shops outside this mall, so it makes sense why there‘s not much in the actual building. Love the Nordstrom Rack, Uniqlo, Primark, etc.
Decent place to shop, various businesses inside to shop. It is located on State Street downtown. Quick place to pop in. Great the train goes here, you can really access public transportation.
Poor service. We sat in the theater for 30 minutes before the movie was turned on causing us to skip previews. Cheese fries were cold. Manager and workers all seem hung over and unhappy.
Stopped in at ‘The Dearborn’ restaurant for an early lunch. Really good food. Looks like they have a good craft drink menu. Nice place to sit and watch the world walk by outside. Worth a visit even for a drink at the bar.
If youre going for a specific store its a great place. Very neat and clean with plenty of security. I wouldnt go there to aimlessley shop because there is not an abundance of stores.
I actually love this little downtown mall. Some stores can be a little uppity so be aware. If you feel uncomfortable just walk out. Especially if your black people think were broke. Ive had mixed experiences in most of the clothing stores. Everyone else is always awesome.
My friend and I enjoyed a great night out at Block 37. We went to see "Respect"and enjoyed the space as well as the food. The burger was hot and fresh, but the fries were warm and some were over cooked. Overall we had a good time.
DJ was my personal stylist here and she was absolutely amazing! She picked me out the perfect outfit from head to toe plus accessories! Her taste was very similar to my own. It made me feel really good having someone help pick an entire outfit cause not many stores offer that at all. The service here was fantastic and i would definitely recommend to come here to find a outfit for any occasion. I had a great time here and will definitely come back
Always a good experience going there. Especially first time being in the movie theaters in over a year. I had to see The Black Messiah and Judas.
decorations is gourges clean everywhere. We love this place very convenient to shop around train is right there Down town perfect.
Block 37 is a massive complex located in the Chicago Loop area. It’s a full square block and has a large variety of stores and restaurants. There is also a “dine-in” movie theater within the building and a great cafeteria called Latinicity, which has many different Latin-inspired options to choose from.
Great looking shopping area. Lots of new stories. AMC theater is also in this building.
Really nice mall in the heart of downtown. Sleek interior architecture. Although it never seems to be very busy here. Lots of empty space. Theres also a state of the art multiplex movie theater on the top floor with a lounge. Great for a night out in the town.
Centrally located mall, with direct access to the train. Theres a variety of boutiques and shops like Zara. They also have a few eateries. It is walking distance to millennium Park and the famous bean sculpture (cloud gate).
Great location in the heart of the city by all the theaters. It has great shops like Anthropologie, Zara, and a Latin food hall called Latinicity.
