Really disappointed with the staff and the service we received. Waitress was rude and gave dirty looks. Food took over an hour to get and when we asked for something the waitress made us feel as if we were a burden. Also other tables in the restaurant waited more than 15 minutes for a drink order. Not impressed.

Service was great. Pleasant and friendly. Food was good.Just need some vegan options :)

I left a review a little over a month ago but had to delete it to now give a 5 Star stellar review after last night’s dinner.Arrived on a Friday night without a reservation and was quite busy but was seated promptly and drinks were quick as well. We went straight to the Special menu after the table beside us recommended the Pecan Chicken!We ordered the Pecan Chicken and the Schnitzel and we’re already thinking of coming back Sunday to get it again!!The sauce on the chicken was completely amazing with the sweet and tangy and bourbon pecans and the mashed potatoes were perfectly homemade and flavourful.The schnitzel sauce was equally addictive and delicious. My father was a chef and I know that proper DemiGlace is a labor of love and this did not disappoint! We even ordered an extra order of those green beans because we couldn’t get enough.Bravo Blake’s! We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our visit and will look forward to these great Entree selections again and again.

Family dinner out. Excellent food, quick service

Stopped by for dinner. The place was busy. Service was prompt. The food came out hot and portions were average. The only downside was the fries. Change your oil.

We arrived right at lunch and yet the server was so pleasant. Service was really quick. Food was delicious. Between us we had a cheeseburger with onion rings, chicken wrap and a thai chicken wrap with homemade fries, and we all cleaned our plates. Biggest compliment we can give!

Stopped in for brunch this past Sunday. They have a somewhat limited menu unless you want one of about 8 variations of eggs Benedict but I still easily found something to order.The prices are fair for the offerings and location. The service wss fine, small mix-up with one of our orders but it was fixed promptly. The only other comment as we told someone other than our server and she then chastised us for not telling her directly.The food itself was fine. I mean if you cant cook something as simple as bacon, eggs, home fries and toast you shouldnt be in business.The final word... It was fine. Just fine but not particularly memorable in a good nor bad way. I wouldnt avoid it if I was in the area and looking for somewhere to eat, but I wouldnt go out of my way to get there.

At the end of an August weekend we came for dinner. Food was ok. Had the Fish and chips. Would not recommend. Think the oil in the fryer may have been a bit old. Mate had the Quesadilla, again, passable, not great.

Good food, good service. We drove from the Marriott hotel because of the posted reviews. Was a nice twisty drive here.

It was extremely slow. Waited at least 50 mins for our food & it was from the breakfast menu. Lots of coffee was offered but you can only drink so much.

Good food great service. We use to go there a lot several years ago and found we didnt like some of the changes they had done so we stopped goingWe thought we would try it again. Glad we did. We have been there three times so far in July. From the time we walk in Joanne has greeted us with a friendly welcome and great service. She is efficient, polite and she really hustles to make sure all patrons are having a good time. She asks if everything is good throughout the mealFood was very good and they have this unique salad - that is a combination of a Greek and Caesar salad - it is always good.So to Joanne and the rest of the staff Great Job

Great spot, great staff. Had a Souvlaki wrap and fries, delicious! Today we had a fantastic Cranberry Walnut Goat Cheese salad it was mouth watering and crammed full of flavour. One if the best salads I have EVER had. Highly recommend.

Great food, service and prices. Will be stopping in again on our next trip. Worth the detour!!!!

Best Eggs Benedict for 10+ years.

Food was very good..the waitress sucked..had her first time..very unfriendly...went back second time..same waitress ..rude again..couldnt figure out bill for 2 couples..ask if you want anything else and before you could respond she walked away...brought our bills before she even asked if we wanted dessert..which we all wanted...then got mad at us for saying we had wanted dessert.. We just said forget it..paid our bill and left...will not return...went out for nice evening and she totally ruined it...too bad because the cook is great but dont want that experience again

Great food but service was really slow. Perhaps they were short staffed but they didnt communicate. Five stars because staff is friendly and food is always good.

There were 11 of us on sleds on Sat Feb 29/22 at about 11:30. Our server was fabulous! She kept it lite and got it all right and made us laugh and took our pictures.... . And we were probably a real pain to coordinate. The kitchen was efficient and accurate. Food all good. Only suggestion is that we have had great wings there before and the wings on Sat were not your usual. Way small, less meaty, a bit over fried. Hope you will talk with your supplier to get the wings back to flying straight. Gladly pay a couple bucks more per pound for superior wings. Thanks for being there - we have been regulars since you opened.

Had a great time with a large group of friends here! The food was great I recommend the French toast as it was delicious and dont be shy to ask for some baileys in your morning coffee. They love to please here!! As well the servers are very kind and take great care of their tables.

Nov 2021, Amazing service and food was delicious. Enjoyed the variety of beer and the wings and poutine...omg! Great job.2019, Lets start by saying over the years, I have not always been happy with service or consistency and wait times to name of few. A few of these issues I read in reviews just now. Hard for me when the owners are friends but business is business and I work a food service job as well. Myself and 5 friends decided to eat there again last night based on location to a venue we had later. WOW!😊 is what I have to say now since not eating there in over a year. Not sure if its a new cook, menu upgrade or what but Blakes is back on my return list👍. The server was fantastic! She retained all 6 orders in her head and apps, didnt miss one detail. The draft beer was Super cold😋🍺Was 1 other table in with us so not busy yet but the apps came out quickly, hot and the serving dishes so fun😉. All 6 of the main courses prepared are presented beautifully. Lots of food for the price per item. This location provides a cottage cabin atmosphere. Pool tables and perfect for a snow machine location stop. Looking forward to more wings, cold beer. Well Done 😊

Great place with a good Muskoka vibe and a delicious food! The staff are welcoming and friendly. Ive been there many times over this summer and its always a pleasant experience. Also, having pool tables / darts makes this place even more entertaining. Cool place to meet with your friends to hang out, highly recommend :)

The staff was very friendly and food was decent and well proportioned for the price. However, we found the sweet potato fries were too thin and slightly overcooked. The creamy turkey soup (soup of the daylacked the creamy texture but was well flavoured. Would stop by again if in the area.

Have always had a pleasant experience here.The food and proportions are good. It is however a little dark, inside. I was also a little surprised how coffee was $3.00, and my wife wasnt thrilled by its taste, a little weak.

After driving more than 400kms from Soo, its a pleasure to dine in at this place. Their service is great, the food was delicious 😋, while eating either you just enjoy the food or look around their interior design, so many interesting things are display in the wall, offcourse you dont walk around. Clean washroom, mask , hand sanitizer they have it all. You can even buy t-shirts 😀😀

I’ve been a Memories customer for 25 years. Not since the pandemic though. It’s Tuesday July 20,2021. Tried calling several times to put a take-out order in for 2 households. No answer. An order well over $200. Blake’s actual website says they’re open Tuesdays. Google says not open. I really hope they can get it figured out with their online presence so people don’t get disappointed and end up losing customers. Because word of mouth is your best advertising.

I can honestly say I have never posted a review of a restaurant before but I felt i absolutely needed to do one this time. We haven’t been locals for a year yet but I can honestly say that we have found our new favourite local take out place! I have had the eggsBenedict twice now and both times they were absolutely delicious and probably the best I have ever had. Then tonight I had the Greek souvlaki dinner and it was amazing!! The chicken was so tender and the salad was fresh and filled with lots of peppers, red onion and feta cheese! Who could ask for anything more! Well done Blake’s Memories in Muskoka!! Looking forward to the next time we have take out!!!

Definitely worth the drive. With very few breakfast options in the area, Blakes is always a yes. Unlike most breakfast places, the menu doesnt stop until the day is done offering one hell of a burger, the best club sandwich Ive ever had and french fries that induce mid-week cravings on the regular. The cozy atmosphere is family friendly but the chill cottage vibes are also cute enough for a cozy date night. Dont forget to grab a sweater from the retail area while youre there because youll want to talk about the awesome food anywhere you go.

We had our fist delivery tonight and it was amazing! The Caesar Salad - brilliant! The Memories Burger - Brilliant! The Fish and Chips - Brilliant! Well definitely be ordering again.

Food was excellent! The soup was served steaming hot and it was very hearty with lots of fresh vegetables. The button bones, mandoline chips, and pickerel bites were great as well. Very clean, good service, and covid safety procedures were well observed.

By far the best place to grab a great breakfast in the district! Bacon tastes like real bacon and the home fries are house made and delicious. Yum! The non-breakfast menu looks great too, will try next time.

Honestly, I really want to go again! The food was really good and the prices were too! The classic cottage atmosphere and decor is charming. The only reasons its not 5/5 was the building needs a little more upkeep, and the food took a little long even though it wasnt busy. But seriously, I will go again, hoping it all checks out, because the food and prices are great!

Had the big breakfast. Everything was tasty. Asked for over medium eggs and got them prepared perfectly! The waitress was friendly and attentive. Casual and cozy atmosphere. I would definitely eat here again!

Tonight we, as a family, decided to go out for dinner. In the past weve had great experiences at Memories of Muskoka so decided to go tonight.They had a turkey special thats a great deal with a starter and dessert. My Mother has dietary restrictions and was clarifying with the young server that it was very important that the chef understood. The server was impatient with her and cut her off.The appetizers were delivered long after the order was taken 30+ minutes. The two turkey dinner meals (that came with the appetizerswere delivered about 2 minutes after the appetizers arrived. The meals were ice cold. We sent them back.The two turkey dinners were then delivered again, before the 3rd and 4th meal were delivered.At the time of ordering I asked if the wings were saucy, because I dont like dry rub I was told they were saucy when they were clearly as dry as a bone. She said "oh I know what you meant and they are, its just absorbed into the wings". I asked if there was some sort of BBQ sauce or something I could have to actually sauce them. She took them back and had them "re-toss" them in the watery sauce (a picture is shown of them AFTER she took the wings to be re-tossed).A very unpleasant experience in a place that we normally enjoy and normally have good service without the attitude. Then had the nerve to say at the end, for a completely uneaten meal, that she discounted it... Get the bill. Discounted $1.50 from a $25.99 meal that wasnt eaten at all. Disappointing.

Great food, fast service, friendly staff. I shared a beef dip with my father and they were very accommodating. Beer selection didnt have much craft, but all the styles were represented and I had a Creemore.

Had dinner there and we mostly enjoyed our meals the turkey club was very dry and the wings were small. Had breakfast there and we werent as happy potatoes need to be cooked more, eggs were too runny for the most part , some of the toast was burnt, bacon wasnt evenly cooked and kind of chinzy in portion.Also I have a suggestion. If you are serving eggs Benedict on a crab cake please dont put it on toast as well. The toast would have been better as a side. It was soggy and not enjoyable at all.Service was great both meals and all in all we do enjoy going. Maybe it was the long weekend or the overworked staff. Will try again in the future.

Great food, good portions, friendly staff honest staff. We were one of few people, waitress found a $20 on the floor by the bar, she came to ask if we dropped it, my buddy had dropped it.

Try the Canadian Benny - you wont be disappointed. Usually not a fan of home fries but these ones were cooked perfectly and with just a bit of seasoning that I ate them all. Definitely a place we will be visiting again.

Great staff. Speedy service, even for large group. Arrived near closing, most desserts sold out. Fried-pickerel delicious but served with tasteless, boiled veggies. Good burgers but otherwise could boost quality/healthiness of menu items. Cozy and relaxed pool table/bar area. A good choice for the area. They try hard. ASL sign language spoken here.

I have eaten here multiple times at different times of day and different seasons...it is THE worlds slowest dining experience. Once, we even made a reservation for a large party months in advance( for a wedding brunchand they didnt have the proper staffing to accomodate. Children in our party were served very last which made for a long and not-so-enjoyable wait.If you wish to eat here, which we do because of the limited resources in the area, expect it to take 2 hours at least. We want to like it more...and we still come back. But it is frustrating.Food is good- home cooked style but its hard to enjoy because you wait soooooo long to be served and for your good to come.Wheelchair accessible entrance. Washrooms are bigger stalls but may be difficult for some to use and access.
