Blah Blah Sandwich Bar in Emerald

Would not recommend this cafe. Waited at the counter for nearly 15 minutes and was completely ignored by all staff. Was eventually informed that I had to move approximately 2 or 3 steps to the right of where I was standing if I wanted to be served. When I attended to put in my order the young girl stood at the register and refused to move. I asked if she could have a look at what I wanted and was bluntly informed by an older woman to just tell the younger one what I wanted. I stated that I did not know what they called the items and would appreciate if I could should them what I was after. After all this I was eventually able to order and pay for what I wanted. I was then asked if I wanted one of the items toasted and I responded that I didnt only to be informed that it needed to be toasted to eat. I agreed to the food being toasted and could not understand why I asked if that is how it had to be prepared to be eaten. Never experienced so many issues just to get a simple meal. Took almost an hour for a process that should have been five to ten minutes at most.

No eftpos! Cash only. Maybe a one off.

All 4 of us awarded this cafe 5 stars. It is worth finding it on the back street as it is a beaut place for lunch. The pot of tea for 2 was an 8 cuppa. It was refreshing and thirst quenching. Perfect for the hot August day.We didnt sample the coffee but they use a good quality bean.Highly recommended.

After multiple undrinkable coffees on our trip this place was 10/10. Friendly, polite,clean, and fresh. Unfortunately I didn’t take photos. Had breaky wrap which was to die for. Toasted sandwich and most importantly coffee that I didn’t tip out. Don’t drive past here it’s well worth the stop and we’ll priced. ☕️☕️☕️

I’m sorry but did not have a good experience there this morning. The eftpos machine did not work when I was paying for my order 3 x times. But the worst part was the staff member made me feel like the problem was at my end even though my account had plenty of funds and I could use it at another cafe that same morning. Not great service at all

Was alright but coffee too hot, I ordered the Eggs on toast, eggs were overcooked and toast was just hot bread.

Great find while driving through Emerald. Fresh sandwiches and wraps were just what we needed to fuel our drive. And fresh squeezed juice after a long period out bush with limited access to fresh fruit and vegies! Yum! I will stop in again when I’m next driving through the area.

Very nice coffee, our breakfast was just right, good size servings and well cooked. I highly recommend this place.

Honestly, such a small cafe with big efforts and hard work. Amazing customer service, love the quiche and sweets.. Best in Emerald. Ordered a ice coffee, could of been better.. But that’s fine, it all depends on you’re preference.Love it, love it..

What a fantastic little cafe. My work colleagues and I were in town for just 2 days and it became our spot for breakfast and lunch both days. Good honest home style cooked meals served by happy, helpful staff. Do yourself a favour and call in here for a coffee and some great food.

Change their advertised business hours as to when they are going to be open. I checked the hours today, walked there in the midday heat to get my lunch, only to find them closed and no notices of this on the cafe or internet opening hours.

Food is great and the staff are friendly we were well looked after.

The coffees and the slice were very good. The service however wasn’t a great experience. We arrived a little before 2:30, they close at 3:00. They were packing ng up around us, and didn’t make us feel welcome at all ... particularly the cleaner.Otherwise was very good.

Good food, service and reasonable coffee. Be aware that a long black means A LONG BLACK. About 500ml by my estimation. Still it was hot and strong.

The coffees were burnt however the service was quick and it was a quaint cafe but wouldnt reccomend to my friends due to the quality of the coffee

Ive worked in hospitality for 5 years as a kitchen-hand and a cook for at least 1 year, my partner being a kitchen-hand for 2 years, just for perspective. Me and my partner went in for lunch I ordered a skinless chicken burger and large cappuccino my partner had a mince burger....Service was reasonable for us, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere.However my chicken was dry and my partners mince pattie was more of a dry rissole that was to small for the burger bun ( try adding sauces and making the pattie thinner )My chips were great but over salted and my partners were under salted.You guys did buy salt shakers for a reason.Food is half the battle Id give you 2 1/2 stars.

Blah Blah is a lovely place for friends to meet, have a small meal, coffee or drink. The setting has a nice ambiance, you can eat inside, outside in front of the building or adjacent under cover private passageway which is where I prefer to dine or have a coffee. The food and drinks are good, at around normal prices, and the girls there seem to do their best to serve you quickly, although at times it can be busy. They have EFTPOS and you can use your credit card.
