The view,the food and the staff.Stunning spot to have a special celebration.In summer you will forget about time when sitting outside🤗🤗The menu is not cheap but then the quality of dish makes up for it.Do not price yourself out of the South African market.The new bathrooms are stunning and worthy of the venue.Well done we cannot wait to see what the upgraded restaurant will look like🙌🏻🙌🏻

We were just passing through and happen to find this gem!Amazing! Amazing views, amazing food, amazing staff.

Menu is limited and the pasta food was not great at all. The kids enjoyed their pizza but no entertainment for children.

Great view, shocking service!I called the restaurant to make a booking the day before our arrival and advised the person on the phone that I had a puppy and would need to bring him along. She said no problem as long as we sat outside. No problem.When we arrived to an empty restaurant, the waitress approached us shaking her head. Not even greeting us. I told her we had a reservation and she said no dogs were allowed. I explained the reservation call and with so much attitude she says, “well who did you speak to?” - how would I know the name of the person that took my call?We were eventually seated and ordered 2 drinks off the menu that were out of stock. We were not even advised about these shortages when the menus were handed to us. Very unprofessional. We were surprised that the wine farm the restaurant is situated on doesn’t even feature on the wine list.We waited an extremely long time to get our food order placed even though there were only 2 tables in the whole restaurant.It was very obvious to us that the waitress did not like us after the dog incident - she was tentative to the only other table there and yet we hardly saw her.Such a pity as the pizza was good and the view lovely. Will certainly not be back.

My veggies was cold we waited for ever for the food, items missing from plates for the rest of the table, the manager came to apologize but it was just too little to late, in a town where the food and service is so excellent its a big no no

The food looked pretty and tasted good. The service wasnt very good and it was not busy at all. Overall we wont pop in there again when we go to Cape Town.

Beautiful and welcoming as always. Great view with even better food. Come for a "dressing up" type dinner, or drop by for a quick coffee or oreo milkshake.

Fantastic food, good value and an amazing setting. Staff are super friendly. Would be nice to have craft beer on tap though.

Beautiful stunning views makes this place very pleasant. Would definitely say it wont be my last visit. I havent seen much of the menu though and still need to establish a feel for service.

This place is really amazing. It used to be an actual blacksmiths workshop that was converted to a restaurant. Everything here is great, even the simple things like pizza and chips. I love the fact that they have a small menu so you wont get overwhelmed by choices and that means the things that they do have are of the highest quality. The views from the seating area are breathtaking. The staff are very nice they very hard to make you feel welcome. Something interesting: the toilets have showers too. If you went on a wine tour or hike you can actually go clean yourself up before you eat.

We had our end of year lunch at Blacksmiths Kitchen. The ambiance was lovely and so were the waiters. The food was particularly delicious. I had T-bone steak which was made to perfection with chips and a fresh salad. The service was quick and courteous. Although on the day it was particularly windy, it did not in any way take away from this lovely experience.

Exquisite view on the mountains and vineyards. The veranda is just the place to wind down and relax with one if their scrumptious pizzas and a glass of wine. Come on, its time to sit back, relax and enjoy the Boland.

Very lovely place to be. The staff were very friendly and even offered blankets to keep warm while reclining and enjoying the spectacular views. The food was well presented and not pricey at all. All-in-all, its a beautiful "secret" restaurant, comfortably nestled up Paarl mountain.👍

We had so much fun as a family. Their food is awesome and service is also amazing. The venue is breathtaking with an awesome view of Paarl and the mountains.

We booked 1week in advance for 9 persons for a very special birthday occasion.We arrived promptly as booked. We were only served dinner at 21h30.Whilst after we had sat down for service a group of 20+ arrived much later.The group of 20 and all other customers were served before us.We were the last to be served.With no waiters in attendance to offer apologies.Poor management obviously overbooked .And the poor management continued on floor .Sadly we even left a generous tip.So all in all what was supposed to be a good experience turned all sour on us.Margaretha Smant- Botha

Fantastic service and so much compassion for what was a sad celebration for us, celebrating my late moms birthday and getting a "Happy Birthday" cheesecake surprise after our well prepared and tasty meals. Thank you to all staff for your empathy with my dad. Your kindness and efficient service will not be forgotten! He had a blast. Accompanied by a stunning view and strict social distancing, I can honestly recommend this venue.

Had a date with my best friend here. Food was delicious, service was friendly and had good atmosphere. However, flies were annoying even when they put the candle on our table, they just wouldnt go away while having our meal.

What a gem we found on our way driving through the Boland. This you won’t find on any trip advisor or list. A real local spot with amazing views great wine lists and really well priced good tasting good

I could have eaten anything and it would be magical with the views, but I had a FAB pizza (feta, avo and baconit was just the way I like, thin crispy base, and it was perfect. I could sit there for hours. Beautiful place.

My family and I invited this breath taking place. We had the mushroom risotto and oh my word it was incredible!! Service here is amazing, the staff are very friendly and the wine...on another level! If I could I would give this place 10/10, I would highly highly recommend this place to persons of all ages.

Cosy, warm and homey! Popular restaurant, I would suggest making a booking. Great service, very friendly staff, awesome experience! The mushroom risotto was 10/10 and try their Wagon Trail red wine!

Always love coming here. The food is still amazing, as is the service. Got a nice table inside by the fireplace to ward off a chilly Sunday.

Great views. Amazing prices on the wine cases. Really good super thin crust pizzas. Very nice relaxing late lunch. If you want a nice casual inexpensive good quality lunch with incredible views this is the perfect stop off.

The best view of Paarl valley, combined with great wines, good food, superbly well trained waiters and hands-on management...one can really see why it’s a firm favourite in Paarl. Upon arrival we were given two types of wine to sample (free of charge), and after enjoying a lovely meal made from the freshest ingredients, a trip to their wine cellar shop yielded a wonderful, superbly priced, six-bottle combination box (containing whites, reds and a roséof their “Stubborn Man” range wines to take home.Due to their popularity booking early for weekends is a must, as their tables are often booked up as early as the Thursday!An absolute treat for spending time with friends.

Blacksmith is located where there is a great view and refreshing feel. We arrived at the Resturant around 20:30 and unfortunately the kitchen was closed but was fortunate enough they were willing to serve us pizzas. We ordered two pizzas, both were amazing and flavourful, and have very crunchy crusts. Would recommend.

What an amazing setting, with stunning wines to enjoy. The food is first class, and the staff an absolute pleasure. Tucked away on Pearl mountain, this one is a true gem.

My new favorite place! We had the best valentyn`s dinner @ Blacksmith last night. The food & services complimented the beautiful view. Well done chef Hadley ( a former student of minefor preparing the best Norwegian Salmon I have ever had. To top it all, a couple got engaged and the staff brought bubbly for all to congratulate them. Love was truly celebrated!!
