Go to when Im on the strip in Tuscaloosa. Im a beer drinker so I can always find something to try that Ill like, the rest of the family not so much but they always have ciders as their go-to. You can bring food in - burgers, dogs or pizza (mellow mushroomand the staff has always been great. Theyre also pet friendly.

Staff was friendly, beers were goodNice calm atmosphere to breakup a long drive across the country.

I walked into Black Warrior Brewing Company on a whim, not knowing what to expect. So glad I did as their selection was great, their staff was excellent and helpful. Chad the bartender was awesome. If youre in the area, Id definitely recommend them to anyone! 🍻

Wow, I really enjoyed this experience!The drinks were varied and they even let me try different ones so I could get an opportunity to find out which I liked best. The waitress/bartender was very knowledgeable and helped me narrow down which drink I wanted.Check this place out. Prices were reasonable, and the ambiance was pleasant as well.

Walked by, saw a little spot offering craft brew. It was amazing.The beer, the team, the atmosphere, definitely worth the stop! If their beer was available in the post-security gift shop Id have found a way to bring home 24! Especially #16 & #4!

Ordered a flight to get a range of tastes. All four were good beers.

I finally visited this place I heard so much about. It even has a calendar of each days of certain events that it host.Atmosphere: lively and has TVs to watch your sports channels.Pet Friendly? Yes, I saw a couple of dogs.Im not going to spoil which events it holds each day of the week. Why not come visit and see it gor yourself? Play to win some prizes sober or drunk. 😅😂

I never go to the Taproom, but I’ve been buying BWBC package since they’ve started distributing, and I’ve never had a bad beer from them!

We stopped here on an overnight stay in Tuscaloosa and have nothing but praise for it. They’re super dog friendly and their beer spectrum is fantastic, especially if you like lighter/wheat beers. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area & don’t forget to leave with some merch for the memz!

Really nice bar, beer is fine. I’ve had four of the beers—3 unremarkable but fairly true to style and one fruit beer that I thought tasted pretty unnatural. Also, if a beer gets poured in less than a pint it should be clearly marked on the board—when I order a beer I think it is fair to expect a pint unless there is advertising to the contrary.

This place is wonderful! I went alone on a Tuesday night and ended up making friends with folks who were sitting outside. The beer is great and the vibes are awesome! They even had trivia that night which seemed to be very popular.

Great beer, friendly service, dog friendly, fantastic location, and BYOF! I always love coming here when Im in town. The taproom is cozy with a great local vibe and feel to it. They have a great beer selection. I really enjoy their Crimson Ale and the Apricot Wheat beer is light and easy to drink especially on a hot summer day. I love that this place is BYOF (Bring Your Own Foodand its downtown Tuscaloosa location makes it the perfect place to order takeout and bring it over. Weve ordered in pizza from DePalmas and barbecue from Jim n Nicks before. I would love to come back sometime on a Wednesday night for their Pints & Poses Night which is a $10 event that includes a beer and a yoga session which sounds perfect for me!

Their mango guava sour is one of my favorite beers of all time.One of the smaller spaces, so at busy times it can be hard to find a table; however, I like the cozy atmosphere it creates as how friendly the patrons tend to be.

Decent beers, but nothing out of this world. Nice outdoor area. Bartender wasnt very attentive after getting our first round of drinks.

I liked it at Black Warrior Brewing and so did my family and pugs.We had ordered food which was picked up by the staff from a nearby restaurant and taken directly to our table . And it rained outside! For a smaller tap room they got a good selection of beers. People came in to pick up growlers. I had a Blackberry cider and enjoyed it. The environment is inviting and there is a big game collection entrainment. We never went upstairs but as I understand there are even more fun games like corn hole. My dogs enjoyed being there and we will be back next visit to Tuscaloosa.

Not the best service. The bartender was more interested in her several groups of friends that passed through than doing her job. Beer was fine.Edit:Went back recently. Bar is much better staffed. Beer selections were solid. They even order food in. Im glad I gave them another try and will continue to go back.

They make better IPAs than Ive had ever. I hate IPAs, but I drink them exclusively there. Also, fantastic service. They just need some help with their advertising. /card

The Black Warrior Brewing Co. is a great place to hang out after a long week of work. Theyve got plenty of fantastic brews made in house including my favorite beer, the black warrior crimson ale. Their location is great located in downtown Tuscaloosa nearby a bunch of great restaurants. Bringing friends along is really fun since theyve got a bunch of bar games upstairs including darts, cornhole, Foosball, and shuffleboard. The place is also dog friendly so your pup can come hang out too. Give it a try if youre in town!

This place is great for a good beer in a low-key setting. Dont come expecting lots of pub food and such. Its all about the beer - as it should be. The Scotch Ale thats on tap right now is very good, btw.

Love it. Cant go wrong here. Great beer and dog friendly. You can get food delivered from nearby restaurants. Foosball, darts, shuffleboard, and cornhole all upstairs. Lock 17 IPA is incredible.

This is one of the only brew pubs I have been to in my life so so I cannot compare it to others. I can say that the large selection of beers brewed right next to you in huge vats is extremely delicious. But be careful because this place is inexpensive enough to go a little overboard. I ended up getting cut off here not because I was beligerant but because I was unaware their was a limit on the amount of beer you can buy in AL. Needless to say it was alot, and it only cost me thirty dollars. Another great thing about this place is that if you are keen you can walk to the back and watch the beer being made and have a conversation with the owner and his wife. This is one of my favorite places in Tuscaloosa.

In our last visit, we happy to learn that dogs were allowed here. They had plenty games to play and gave us a water bowl for our pup. The staff seemed pretty knowledgeable about their brews and one nice lady helped me narrow down my selection based on what I liked at other places.All in all, it was a very nice visit and plan to go back.

Exceptional brews from a beer snob perspective, and we tried 90% of them, with a friendly staff and great atmosphere. Some big screens for the sports, nice tunes in the background, and a place where you can enjoy great beer and great conversations with your peeps, sports on the big screens, and a nice location. Will come again next time Im in for a game, Roll Tide!

Beer is pedestrian at best, but thats ok. Awesome space and the upstairs game room is a fun wrinkle. Pregame here before heading a few blocks over to Loosa Brews.

Cool hangout in T-Town with great beer and AMAZING staff! Love that you can bring in outside food. Special shout out to Zach and Forrest for making the evening memorable with great conversation and food recommendations! They were very attentive and entertaining! Also thanks to Joe for the educational moment on the bottle apparatus. Definitely a laid back atmosphere and very amiable patrons & staff. Thank you for the great evening!

This is by far my favorite place to hang out in Tuscaloosa! Its nice to have somewhere to bring the pup and drink a beer. Their beer is so delicious and you can tell they put a lot of work into it. All the bartenders are nice and knowledgeable about all their beers on tap.
