Bit Bazar - Civic Centre in Thessaloniki, Greece
👍
Classic.
Amazing place in the city
A great place to visit. It contains a number of different restaurants and bars to try so be prepared to visit a number of times or choose carefully where you choose to eat. The bazaar has an rustic charm and is hidden within the courtyard of the buildings, you use the entrance pictured to access the different bars. It’s a student area so the clientele are relatively younger, so it makes for a lively atmosphere.Because it’s a student area it’s pretty cheap, €3.30 for 500ml beer! Cheapest I’ve found so far.It doesn’t get busy until about 9 or 10pm, so get there early for a table, I visited on a Thursday and was busy later, so on a weekend I’m sure it will be packed!
So beautiful
Fantastic adventure
A place of culture and entertainment for young people
Great food and friendly atmosphere and good music....
Bit Bazaar is a great place! Ideal for students who dont want to spend too much for dinner and drinks!
A must see
One of the best memories
Favela bar restaurant is the best!
Collectables and cafè/restaurants.
What can i say, Incredible food, really good staff and beautiful atmosphere.
I was recommended this restaurant by our hotel staff. They didnt steer me wrong. The restaurant is quite large with seating inside and out ( with patio heaterswith plenty of seats for small and large groups. Not knowing what to try, our waitress sugeted we try a bit of everything. We started with a range of cheese dishes. The battered cheese in honey and feta doughnuts are amazing,We then had some hot peppers, which are hotter than we expected but still very nice.We ended with a mixed meat plater. This had lamb skewers, burgers, half a chicken and pork belly.Every dish was lovely and I wish Id had the appetite to try more. The prices were, we considered cheep compared to the equivalent in the UK.I would throughly recommend if you are in the area.
Needs some update but nice place to find anything you need.
Lovely little market, with mix of old fashioned and new shops, food and home accessories.
incredibly interesting and varied area... make time to walk around the variety of antique, second hand, shops and cafesstreet and shop artworks are astounding
Perfect spot for food, drinks and friends.
Ok
Old market for old things that people dont need .In some small places u can find things of old recent history like 2 world war ..At night you enjoy a good meal and especially after summers season an unique atmosphere full of youngsters in cafes and taverns
Avoid at all costs.-cheap wine mixed with water-very low quality food-overcrowded
Nice place for beer and tsipouro
Very old part in the center of the city. What used to be stores that sold hand crafted products, has turned into colorful restaurants and cafes that attract all ages.
Amazing food, drinks and atmosphere!! This place was recommended to us by my friend from Thessaloniki and it truly surpassed our expectations. Very tasty food, well-grilled meat and veggies, cozy atmosphere and super friendly personnel! Good quality food for low prices, so great value for money. Warmly recommend this!! 😄
Food is okay, lets say you get what you pay for.Service and waiting time was okay and a very friendly waitress. The sea food was pretty good.
Great lively are to go out for food and drinks! Good value for money
Authentic, relaxing, soothing
A student place, packed with people at night.
Sympathetic small restaurant to relax , looks onto courtyard. Very friendly waitress , I think she is the chef s daughter. The chef made us tasty souvlaki and salads. Just nice to wind down because there is no trafic noise. Wine was good as was the total value. Local family owned , unpretentious , sometimes that s what you look for...
PERFECT
Full of students. If you re free. You SHOULD go there
If you like noise and live music this place is for you. You will get a taste of the vibrant city and youll get to taste traditional Greek dishes for cheap prices.
Extraordinary
Normal to cheap prices on alcoholic beverages.
Its ok.
The vibe is exceptional and no matter how crowded it may be, the drinks never arrive late
You should definitely visit oinos kai palia. Very tasty and large dishes. Also very good prices.
My favourite place in the centre of Thessaloniki to drink and eat. Wine is cheap but good quality, the food is delicious and you are in between the heart of the college crowd. Of course the place is overcrowded every single day (but in weekends even more soso it would be wise to book a table, especially if you are a big group of people. Traditional Greek music is on the speakers of most of the taverns, and a good, chilled time is guaranteed.
Good place. Many restaurants. Perfect for university students. During Friday - Saturday - Sunday it is very crowded. Good wine and great food. Cheap choice.
The resturant was a surprise find, its HUGE and very well located. The interior is really cozy and there are heaters outside which keep you warm when its cold. The staff was a little not-so-ready for the service, We ordered a steak and some Calamari which both came wih side dishes and everything except steak was ice cold. The appetizer was very less. But in the end we got a free desert and the drinks were excellent. I think it would be helpful to tell them to bring everything as soon as its ready and warm. Price wise its not expesive, we paid 40 Euros for an appitezer, 2 main dishes and 5 drinks.
A good choice for tourists to watch the greek liveliness unveil. Mainly packed with uni students.
Crowdy, loud and still cozy place with big choice of food. Fair prices. I love it
Its too crowded and the drinks are awful!
Nothing like you have ever seen before. A small square-esque place that is full of small taverns and ouzeris cheap and loud, lively and full of people.
Really nice and cozy place
Great food at decent prices in an amazing location! Try a bit of the bazar!
Great spot for dinner. Full of locals and a choice of restaurants.
This area has 5 places that show the real Greece. Wine, food, too many people, songs and so many more things make you have a great time there. The prices are normal. Totally recommended! ☺
Great place. I found it accidentally when i was wondering to Thessaloniki!Be there!
