Awesome experience, service is great and the food is to die for ❤️
Love the place, been there before. Who doesnt like French wine & French food? Owner, who is French is always there to help with suggestions. Ambiance is laid back. No parking on premises but always park on the street. Highly recommend
MoreAmazing food, and great service.
Let me start with the food is really delicious. We lived in PR for 8 years, and this was a go place for us. I was excited in my trip back to PR to visit the spot after 10 years out. The owner was the same, we knew he was not the friendliest but good food was guaranteed. The service was absolutely terrible, it took 30min to just get our order, food arrived an hour later, and even to get drinks we had to ask multiple times. Given the terrible labor situation we completely let it go, every business is struggling to get people to work. Now, why one star rating, we paid our bill and left the tip cash. When I checked my bill at home, they charges additional 20% within me ever approving it. Honest mistake? Maybe but probably not. Afterwards I contacted the place and while the owner did answer, he directed me to write to an email with the situation. After 3 days, no answer no apologies, just nothing. There are plenty of great restaurants in PR, save yourself from bad serviced and literally getting stolen. Too bad :(
MorePapas al gratin. Camembert caliente. Enough said!!
Amazing place!!! You definitely will enjoy! Wonderful vibe, delicious, truly French food and great service!!!
MoreThank you for sending me back to Paris ❤️
Everything was perfect, especially for a restaurant in Puerto Rico. The atmosphere and dining experience was exquisite. The music and lighting really does set a mood. The food especially the meats and bread really made it even better of a experience. As though the price may be a lot, the restaurant in my books is a must and a great dining experience. 5/5
MoreWell executed fine dining. Great cocktails. Loved the fillet mignon. Not so much the scalloped potatoes. I would go with the french fries since those looked amazing. Delicious desserts.
MoreAlways a great dining experience.
Excellent service and quality of the food. Recommended.
The food’s as good as being in France. It’s my go to.
Fabulous!! I’m a French girl living in PR and this place definitely give me a taste of home! Highly recommended!
MoreA magnificent experience. The food is exquisite and the service is exceptional.
The food is great I loved it. The ambiance is very nice, employeesare great. A little bit pricey. But well recommended.
Moreslow service, good but not extraordinary food, good ambience.
Best and ONLY French restaurant in Puerto Rico. Order anything and it will be deliciouse!
MoreAlways happy to be here....
The atmosphere is exactly the respite from the city one desires. Amid the hustle and admitted beauty of San Juan is a small bistro nestled in the heart. Quiet, elegant music provides a fitting background to the stylish and comfortable decor. Of course, all of this is to say nothing of the food, which is by far the centerpiece of the experience. The herb-forward tastes blended exquisitely with well-portioned meats. Most notable and deserving, I struggle to find anything I would or could improve upon. Excellence by every measure.
MoreIncredible food, incredible wine, fantastic creme brulee. We all ended up staring bites and everything everyone ordered was so good!
MoreI decided to give the opportunity to this restaurant but the owner is not friendly with the guests and Im not the first person who have faced same situation if you see previous reviews. I wanted to be seated with my wife and baby on a specific table outside since its more comfortable to manage the baby, but he was forcing us to be seated on a specific table on front of the entrance and the restaurant was empty and the table we wanted was not reserved, since we were not agreed he left us on front of the door unattended with a bad attitude and returned back inside of the restaurant ignoring us. Finally I ended up dining in Tuttobennes restaurant which is next to the restaurant, where we know the owner and always make us feel like family. Very sad experience...
MoreAuthentic french experience, Thierry is a true Bistro owner! Let him help you with the menu, you wont be disappointed!
MoreExelent customer service. The best French plates in PR. Very comfortable place, it takes you to Europe. Good wine, very good selection of wine.
MoreTruite Meunière.Google that. You’ll thank me later, seafood lovers.Great outdoor patio. Only con is the construction across the street but that’s whatever as soon as your plate comes out.
MoreYou are not the only one that is trying to survive during this pandemic. Nevertheless, if you are having that problem then you could at least treat us customers with respect. Be grateful and appreciate that people are still going to your restaurant during the pandemic. The “don’t ever come back” response is not the solution to the problem. I wish you the best of luck.
MoreGet ready to be transported to France, while still enjoying the reality of being in Puerto Rico. The owner is a French man and has been running the restaurant for at least 10 years. He loves his food and wants you to have the best tasting experience. We were so transported, we were able to talk about our future and make plans - never worrying about the timing of plates making to the table or service. We were well fed, catered and served. Highly recommend the Duck Breast with orange sauce and escargot
MoreFirst time in San Juan and a local referred us to Bistro de Paris. The amazing food, standout service, and romantic atmosphere was everything we were looking for.
MoreExcellent French cuisine. It is not cheap but well worth it. Typical dish may cost you &20 $30. Wines start at $30. Very nicely decorated. The owner manager is from Paris. This is probably the best restaurant in San Juan Puerto Rico. It is worth a trip from Miami or New York City
MoreMy wife and I stopped at this place for lunch. We were served by the owner himself. We felt like the owner was rude and not friendly at all. He asked my wife to remove the napkin in front of her with an attitude like he was bothered. Also, I asked him for some ranch for my fries and he answered rudely back to me. I don’t know if he was having a bad day or he just didn’t like us but that kind of treatment should in no shape or form happen, especially from the owner himself and while businesses are struggling during COVID.Btw my wife didn’t eat her quiche because it was loaded with ham and the menu had no mention of that in it!We are super disappointed and regret going there for lunch. We will never go back there again!!!
MoreOne of our favorites restaurant at San Juan. Excellent food and service. Love the ambience!
MoreAbsolutely love this place. We go regularly the service, food, and price are all right!
MoreGreat service and delicious food!
Great food and service. Sunday afternoon is not exactly a romantic time there. More like family time.
MoreMy son and I stopped by for a meal in between classes. My son had the Pasta Forestieres and enjoyed his meal. I had the Risotto Pollo y Hongos and the dish was hot. The only problem was it was a little too salty. The main problem is the wait staff that was on shift at 4pm. today. First of all her hygiene was sub-par. I seen her blow and clean her nose, clean tables, and lick her fingers without Washing them. Her attitude was lacsadaisacal. I recommend her getting immediate hygiene training or fired immediately. I Will never visit this place again and do not recommend IT under any circumstance.
MoreBeautiful place that really deserves more business! Delicious Desserts, Entrees and great employees so please make sure this amazing place is on your list of places to get a great meal in San Juan!
MoreMy husband and I shared an absolutely fantastic meal here last night. The service was the best we have had on the island, and weve been here almost eight years! We very much enjoyed the decor and atmosphere, and we found it to be the perfect spot for a romantic date night. Our meals were delicious, and my husband enjoyed the wine suggestion made by our server. The chocolate mousse was my favorite part of the meal. You cant go wrong choosing to dine at Bistro de Paris.
MoreGreat environment, very attentive staff, excellent food.
Delicious food. Unfortunately be careful with the wine. They recommended we have a particular wine that was their “wine of the month”. They did not show us bottle before opening it. Ended up being a 2018 (way too young of a wine). Searched the wine on a wine app and its average retail price is <$6. They charged $35 for it. I was hoping for better wine to accompany the delicious filet mignon.
MoreBeautiful place, good menu, good prices, brunch on Sundays from 11:00am to 2:00pm $19.99 with one mimosa 25.00, an excellent variety of wines. Enjoy!!💜
MoreEach plate better than the last one. Superb onion soup, historic pate, the best grilled salmon there is. Lets not forget the velvety mousse au chocolat.
MoreI came here one night for supper of house made rabbit terrine and salmon stuffed oysters. The house wine is decent. The staff are warm and accommodating. They have a nice champagne selection. The night I dined the sky opened up with a deluge that would not stop. The staff pressed an umbrella in my hand and only asked that I return it which I did the next day. Since I was already there i decided to stay for a wonderful lunch of chicken, cheese, salad, pomme frites, and crostini. Can recommend.
MoreThe food and the service were excellent. I had the salmon with asparagus and creme bule for dessert. It was amazing. I felt like I was in Paris and Puerto Rico at the same time.
MoreGreat food, great service... We had an amazing night here! Az a restauranteur myself it brings you joy when you eat at a place like this where everyone care about what they do and live it too...
MoreUnderrated, most delicious French dinning in Santurce area. You will feel as if you actually flew across, no passport needed.
MoreAlways excellent food and service, have been going there, at both locations,an earlier one and the present one, for at least 15 years...never had any kind of issue, one of few french bistros in metro area...love their brunch menu..highly recommended.
MoreFood and atmosphere is excellent. The waiters and waitresses are very nice and fill you in on all of the menu items.
MoreCame for 2016 Christmas Eve dinner. Exceptional food and service. A bit expensive, but thats the cost of quality. We were a group of six and all left extremely satisfied. Highly recommended.
MoreVery nice place! Good service and even better food. A bit out of the way but worth it for sure. Would definitely recommend
MoreGreat ambiance... excellent service!!! Exquisite food always !!! We love the fresh trout or salmon as a main course.
MoreCharming service, delicious dishes, and pleasant atmosphere. My friend had salmon with asperge. It was the best hes ever had. The asparagus was very thick and seemed roasted, but had a slight crispy shell. The salmon skin was also delightfully crispy, and he had never eaten fish skin before. My Branzino was stuffed with flavorful crab meat, over a bed of Mediterranean polenta. I was recommended the pear tarte, but chose fondant du chocolat, which satisfied my craving for banana. Fantastique!
