The best raw vegan restaurant weve been to, for real. A couple runs it, no employees. Theyve been around for 20 years (edit: 10 yearsthey said they were the 3rd raw vegan restaurant to open in the world.

We were in the Macedonian capital Skopje for the first time and found this restaurant by accident. It was a very clean restaurant/bistro, the service fulfilled all of our wishes, the food tasted excellent!Our expectations were fully met. Keep it up !

The oatmeal was great. The smoothies we had were lacking taste, very "watery" and warm. The male waiter who welcomed us just came to ask what we want and I was confused as it was my first time in this place asking "do we need to look inside at a menu or whats available?" He says: we are a restaurant we have nothing except cakes that are ready made. I then had to ask for a menu more specifically - he seems not to be experienced in welcoming clients.The young lady who brought us the order seemed friendly and kind .At the end I wanted to use their toilet and to ask if I can/should pay inside, put on my mask entered through the door and didnt even have time to ask - the older lady with an arrogant tone told me how Im not allowed to enter inside. I asked am I not allowed to use the toilet. She said yes you can use it.Later a younger guy who might have been the owner came and explained kindly what is their non-entrance policy and of course if I knew that I would have not asked to pay inside, obviously.It wasnt a good experience to start my day with.

Im not from Macedonia, I just called to place an order ( I wanted to buy almost all the food from the menu!!!!!!!and I asked 3 questions (the ingredients), because I have some food allergies and I wanted to see what I can buy, the owner I guess said that the ingredients are posted on the internet (THEY ARE NOTand told me to call back when Im decided and argued with me that the ingredients are posted, I even said that Im looking at the menu and they are not. What kind of person who wants to sell food is rude and whats to hang up the phone quickly because he doesnt like 3 questions. So I preferred to eat some fruits for the rest of the day and starve than to deal with difficult people to say the least, I even wanted to buy food for 3 days as Im on the road all the time.

Unique restaurant, with very pleasant ambient, extremely charming personal , and joyful flavour...must try...the only place in Skopje where you can try raw food sweets...

I was in the neighbourhood and their orchids attracted my attention, so I decided to check them out.They are healthy food restaurant and because of the lockdown most of the orders are done online via their FB page.They also have few chairs outside, so I sat down and I had one of their fresh made smoothies which was excellent and refreshing.I havent check the food yet, but Ill give them a try once they open for service outside.

I got on one of their plans - it was longer time ago. I found the portions super small. It contained daily fresh juice and one day I started drinking and I felt the urge to throw up. It happened 3 times as I was getting 3 sips. I went right away to return it and they told me Its you and I was just stunned with the approach - at least they could replace it, but they did not which meant I was basically missing part of my nutrition for that day which was part of the whole plan and me being healthy. I have travelled and lived in some of the poorest countries in the world, where almost everyone has some digestion issues at some points and Ive never had them. So Im not someone whos stomach is super sensitive to have the urge to throw up. I did not have the issue with any other food that day.So not sure what happened, but I still remember of that incident and I was compelled to write here for other people to know.And such a pity for the restaurant because I eat vegan, gluten free and theyre closest to my house, but I cannot buy there because of their ethics. Restaurants I propose for amazing vegan and gf food are: VeganKitchen365 and Dren - amazing food and service is excellent. Portions are really good.

Nothing from the menu was available except some cakes and coffee. As we are not from Skopje and we travelled specialy to see the place (since i was following the restaurant on Instagramand wanted to try the raw food, we were welcomed with an attitude. As we entered the store they screamed " Stop there" like they were expecting us to know that they are busy and that they have a lot of orders to prepare. Even if there was a precautionary measure because of Covid 19 of which we are aware of, there is always a polite way of saying it. The cakes were excellent but this is not an attitude we were expecting. Before i wanted to pay, i looked at the receipt to check how much is the amount and the guy said "is it something wrong?" Like i was not even allowed to check my bill.As I am never a person who writes bad reviews, but is glad to write a positive ones i just had to share this.As someone who works in a customer service industry i think that this kind of behavior is just unacceptable.

The owner is very rude and the food is overpriced. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

Amazing atmosphere, even more amazing food. Very scrumptious and delicious. Once you try their raw food youll never want to cook for another day in you life. Maja and her husband are very welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend you visit them when in Skopje. Thank you guys, cannot stop thinking about the chocolate cherry cake :-))). Still craving, even after more than 3 mknths. See you soon

I had a decent dinner here. The staff is really friendly and the place has a lovely vibe to it. I had the risotto and the chocolate milkshake. Both were great but portions were slightly small. All in all, a great place for a healthy raw meal.

Great place to buy sweets if you are looking for raw vegan things. I am not allowed to eat any sugar so the shop is perfect for me. The prices are a bit spicy but the taste of the sweets and cookies are worth it.

Very nice and cozy place with friendly staff (who are actually the owners). The whole atmosphere is relaxing and the cute details and ornaments make the space very enjoyable. Most importantly, the food is plant-based and very healthy. It definitely is a unique place in Skopje that offers nourishing food for affordable prices. I am very happy that the city has such place that is of high class service and food, which can be positioned alongside some restaurants in London even. Kudos for the excellent work! Keep it up. So this is a must visit and I recommend the lasagna as a must try. But of course whatever you order will be amazing. Everything here is awesome.

The cakes vere not bad but the service is just awful, they charged us more than the menu price for all the food we bought and the hummus was just digusting it had so much turmeric in it that it was bitter and unedible.

This bistro is nice, bright and clean. Staff is friendly. English is spoken here, there is also an English menu. Food is superb. Prices are very moderate. This is by far the best place Ive been to in Skopje. Vegan heaven in a meat crazy country. I really like this place. The only thing I did not quiete like, was the music they played - a bit too loud, a bit too jumpy for this time of the day.

Bistraw is a place with a nice vibe and friendly staff:)The food concept of Bistraw is rather unique! Chef Maja created detox and other programmes, which offer different menu every single day. The meals are thoughtfully combined to provide nutritional balance, there is huge variety of vegetables, fruits, legumes and nuts in a week-programme (difficult to achieve that even with devoted home cookingand most importantly, the food is very, very delicious!And... the deserts are pure indulgence! A healthy one!The effects of the detox programme include more energy, food cravings diminish very quickly, metabolism gets faster and there is a positive overall impact on the body. You feel great and look better!Strongly recommended for anyone who takes care of her/himself.

Staff thinks that they work for NASA or Roscosmos...they are forgetting that they are in the service business, to provide goods and service to the customers not the other way around.

Helthy food, nice ambient, great hosts

Superb vegan gluten free cakes made with pure fresh ingredients. As a gluten intolerant vegan person it was such a joy to find this place in a country of meat and wheat. Really looking forward to coming back for a full meal very soon. Highly recommend.

Food was super delicious and interesting. Definitely a good vegetarian / vegan option if youre visiting and looking for a safe bet. The lunch options werent the biggest but the price is excellent, get an extra entree to split if youre with a group. 🖒
