Kick off the jackboots, settle down on your sofa and put on a good film, I find that Bird In Hand goes well with movies such as The Pianist, The Boy In Striped Pyjamas and everyones favourite Schindlers List,perfect for a nice Red.

Well done guys, you lost a loyal customer. We loved this wine.

Forcing a Bioweapon into your workers arms. I guess you haven’t heard the latest from Brett Sutton that 1 jab 2 jabs 3 jabs 4 or maybe more DO NOT WORK they don’t stop infections or stop you catching it which is what a vaccine is supposed to do. They like many others including bosses will be held accountable for the injuries they have caused on everyone.

Was being shown around the Adelaide Hills and went to the winery to purchase some wine. Didnt check out if it was open and obviously found out that it wasnt on that day. Didnt stop the staff making allowances for forgetful people. Got a couple of very nice reds. Thanks heaps.

Food was very average, service could be better. Wine tasted like nuns pee. Fortunately I wont be going back as Im not VACCINATED.

I wont ever buy Bird in Hand products again. How shameful to discriminate against people based on their jab status. The Covid-19 jabs are leaky vaccines that dont prevent infection nor transmission, which purportedly provide dubious protection of very limited duration, against a disease it was known from the beginning wasnt a serious threat to most people. Its appalling that people are being bullied to submit to these defective jabs. Who are Bird in Hand to seek to interfere with peoples personal healthcare decisions? Were they influenced by the SA Government on this matter?

To see businesses, small or large take steps in attempt to undermine individual freedoms and medical choices on nothing but fear principles and political pressures is disgusting. I truly hope you consider pushing back these inhumane measures alongside the honorable people that would very willingly support you should you drop the discrimination antics.

This business will always be remembered as one of the first Adelaide venues to blatantly support discrimination.Hopefully that "temporarily closed" will eventually turn into "permanently closed"Never again will I support or recommend bird in hand.

Im obsessed with their Nest Egg range! Just about anything they make Ill drink. Gorgeous wines, winery and staff. The first business to be proactive during a global pandemic and to put the health of its staff and patrons above its reputation, which the anti-vax community seems hell-bent on ruining. Luckily, wineries are only actually impacted by people that drink their wine, not people throwing around 1 star reviews while they suck at wine from a box

I particularly enjoy their newest wines ‘2020 Discrimination in the Bush Shiraz’ and also the ‘2021 Nest Egg Segregation Merlot’. I didn’t get to try their Medical Apartheid Cheese Board, apparently that’s only for a few select people. What a great group of loving caring people.

Sadly, because of their discrimination I will never take people there again. Such a shame, beautiful venue, food and wine but I will not be part of any apartheid of any kind.

Service was horrible staff were unpleasant to say the least they were very rude ruined the function multiple guests complained. Wine very average not worth the time or money visiting. Much better wineries in SA worth visiting

Such a beautiful location! And ever better wine! This winery is top of my list of places to go once I can! Love that they have put their customers safety and health first dispute having to bear the brunt of the noisy minority who seem to be hell-bent on spreading the plague.

I used to purchase wine from Bird in Hand online and was always impressed with the quality.Now that they are openly discriminating against sections of the community and acting in direct contradiction to the corporate values stated on their website, I will no longer buy anything from them and will actively encourage all friends and family to boycott your winery.

Disgraceful to promote segregation, discrimination, medical apartheid on behalf of the govt. Letting in only vaccinated people whom can still spread & transmit the virus Is not keeping anyone safe, just doing the govts dirty work for them. Shameful for a family business !

These guys used to be unreal, divine environment and atmosphere, however it is such a shame I will no longer be able to visit with the wife as they have banned unvaccinated clientele. That being said, should they realise that theyre actions are misinformed and they open up to ALL again, I may, and I mean may, return.

How disgusting of this business to discriminate against someones personal, private medical choices. Some people are at serious risk of ill health or even death caused by potential adverse effects of these vaccines (note, its not even the CDCS definition of a vaccine as it doesnt stop the spread or stop anyone catching it). Each persons medical requirements are different. Never should any medical procedure be one size fits all... EVER.

Any business that discriminates against non vaccinated people is not worth visiting, or supporting this small mindedness. What a shame that you actually think this is the way forward, the massive step back into apartheid and segregation times. Any business that discriminates against non vaccinated people is not worth visiting, Keeping in mind that being vaccinated doesnt stop you getting covid or stop you spreading it. Could it be possible that BIH is worried that if some unvaccinated person catches covid at their winery and dies they might some how be liable.

I love Bird In Hand wine. Have been there a few times for wine tastings and the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. Classy place.

I will never support any business that discriminates. Off my list to visit, plenty of great wineries that don’t discriminate to choose from. Makes me sick to my stomach to think this is happening.

Always such a great time at the cellar door. Platters are generous sizes with a lot of variety and especially delicious in the sun. Wine tasting pours are also generous and the staff are very knowledgeable. The staff are very accommodating and will try to cater for all. There is also a coffee cart for those on the go those who need a kick before the next vineyard. Not a winery to be missed.

What a beautiful venue!! Didnt have food, only wine tasting. google maps said it was open til 5pm. However, last tastings are at 4:30pm. Our server was wonderful and still served us, not without after getting a word off his colleague that tastings finish at 4:30pm. Shame staff dont match the venue or lovely wines on offer. I can go to Dan murphys if that suits?

Couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful experience. Food was awesome. All the staff (restaurant and cellar doorwent out of their way to make us welcome and went way above and beyond to make this a truly memorable occasion. Special mention to Claudia who was exceptionally thoughtful and fabulous!Highly recommend a visit to Bird in Hand to anybody and everybody! A birthday Dad will never forget thanks to the Bird in Hand team.

Tasting experience lacked the personal touch. We ordered an antipasto platter, wine and a coffee and they brought the platter out but completely forgot the wine and coffee until reminded. Wines are all a bit too sweet for my taste. Great setting though! Beautiful venue.

Went for a wine tasting and took away a good couple of whites. The overall experience was great server was relaxed, super friendly and, at just 18, exceptionally knowledgeable. They are just about to go through a period of works to expand the cellar door and restaurant.

Very strong recommend! Great service and experience, go with the degustation!!!
