Such a great place to stay and visit. 10 of us rented 3 places this past weekend and we all had a great time. Thank you for everything!!

Its great for what it is. Its cabins for fishermen. The owner is really nice. Everything works but its old with only the basics and basically cleaned. My buddies and I go back every year but I wouldnt take my wife there.

Owners are awesome .. Been going there for years right on amazing Scotts bay .. Fishing is a must

I really dont know how to rate this one. Part of me wants to rate it 5 stars and part of me wants to rate it 1 star. The cabins are not clean. Every bed had hair on it and stains. Lots of it. Super gross. I even saw blood stains on one of the blankets. Like it has never been washed. The refrigerator even had human hair in it. I dont understand. Other than the fact that it was gross, somehow the experience was terrific!! I dont know how that is possible. But Donna is one of a kind and she cracks me up. She is also extremely helpful and trusting. All around great person. The cabins are located right on the lake and it is gorgeous every morning. She has a Bait shop right there and has other amenities. She was helpful with directions and guiding us to what we were looking for. She also allows pets which was a huge bonus. Somehow this place grew on me and by the end of my stay I didnt want to leave. I think I will even come back some time. I still havent fully made my mind up about that. If it were a cleaner experience (especially with the beds and blanketsI would have zero hesitation and I would go back every year. If you are only looking for a place to crash I wouldnt recommend this place, but if you have an open mind and are looking for a good memory and good feeling then I would definitely go here. Just bring your own blankets and pillows.

Absolutely beautiful place the landscape is amazing

Donna from Birch Tree Resort will tell you where to go to find whatever fun your looking for. We came up to run snowshoe hare. The cabins are not fancy but are equipped with everything you need. I would like to come back every year.

Relaxing, and very friendly. And easy access to the water. Clean rooms awesome hospitality. Makes a very fun family getaway.

Donna at Birch Tree is the Best! Youll not find a more relaxed place to stay. Nostalgic Fishing n Hunting cabins! Bait shop, boat launch n docks on site.

Beautiful views

Stayed here many times in the past few years. Like going back in time. Cabins are clean and have everything you need. Donna goes way out of her way to make sure that your taken care of. Cant wait until next wheeling trip is planned!

Nice and quiet. Cabins were in ok shape. Good if you are into fishing.

I took my family to stay here on the Island and it was 3 days of family fun and memories. At the Birch Tree (Donnawas absolutely AMAZING!!! She offered so much more than her cabins and a smile, she made us feel welcome... I would love to recommend staying at her resort I know I will be back to see her....

Clean cozy cabins! My husband has been coming to this place since he was 5 years old! Great place to go to get away. The cabins have everything you need. Just bring your clothes and your fishing gear. They even have a bait shop on site. Our family loves this place!

I’m not sure why this place has 5 star reviews..it’s probably from her friends and relatives!The place is down right scary.We seen it and left!I’d sleep in my car if I had no where else to go!It’s like staying at your grandmas old house with old matted down pillows and old blankets mix matched old furniture in a old stinky cabin!!!

Free WiFi is available (if needed)... But dont tell your boss! There is also a boat ramp. Pet friendly! All we needed for a well deserved break!

We stay there from the 4th to the 7th had so much fun the fishing was good would stay there again she dos a good job and takes care of you

I loved staying here. The set up was great. We stayed in the three bedroom cabin. The view of the water was great.

This review is over due by 10 years, but just wanted to say that these folks were very accommodating and generous. Even the neighbors were handy in helping us with some repairs on our snowmobiles during the 10,000 mile ride from Alaska to Maine.

Awesome people own it. Its like family going there.

Donna is awesome to work with and runs a very relaxing getaway.
