not only did i have terrible service thea over charged me when i handed her my card.. ive heard of this happening to people here but my first time having it happen to me. that’s theft fyi. the only reason i still left a tip is because times must be pretty tough to steal 3.25. but i will not be bringing my business back there and everyone who decides to go there keep a good eye on what your charged for they think they are sneaky.

Cozy, familiar, hole in the wall atmosphere, mixed with some great food, never disappoints

I would come back just for the happy hour alone. The drinks were strong. The food was good, with the exception of the chips and salsa, which was clearly store bought. But everything else was phenomenal.

Love it here. Always feels like home with all patrons. Lots of regulars and also always a good time.

The lodge burger was amazing, reallly real bacon on that thing... my friend got the "Miracle Mile" burger and it was sublime, fries were great, and there was a huge portion served. Great spot!

We just dropped in while we were visiting the area and we ended up back a second night. We have a bar The Merch back home so we had to go to the Birch and we felt right at home here. Staff was friendly and nice.

Went here, didnt really go for much then to visit a friend a quick second. Seems like a nice enough place, Staff was pleasant, and friendly. Service seemed like it would have been really good had i ordered anything. The place was social, and not to loud. Not to crowded, as i was at a table which could have sat six to eight. So valuing my opinion. I had to give a fairly good rating. Seems like a place Id be willing to return to, even if it was for one quick drink with friend

First time here, very friendly, nice crowd of people for 2 pm. Service was good. I had the Lodge Burger which was excellent. Big burger and lots of fries for the money. Loaded up with cheese and bacon. Definitely worth getting again. Nice place with lots of seating. I’ll be back.

Ok so I walk in. And I order one beer. I told her she’s a dog mom because her shirt says dog mom. I drank one beer and then after she wouldn’t allow me to have another beer. She’s aggressive and I swear to god I will never be there again. The girl with the dog shirt you should fire! Immediately! So rude!

This place is incredible . Food is amazing at a great price . Mostly locals which is what I prefer . Ask for Brooke, Thea or Andrea as your bartender /server and I’m sure they will make your experience amazing .

Solid HH. One of those places where you dont just get what you pay for. The food is solid but for the price Im hooked. Also always very friendly staff. Love that.

Looked them up on the internet. Went based on reviews and especially the food-- perch night on Friday. No where did it say they werent serving food. They dont answer the phone and no updated message. We get there, kitchen closed, no food. Only reason they get 3 stars, bartender was nice and the beer was good.

Stopped in to this establishment with a large group of friends. We were excited to celebrate a retirement and enjoy some food and drink. There were a few employees tending bar, and it was not too busy. There was a short, stocky blonde with braids who seemed as though she may have been in charge.I could not imagine allowing a person of her stature running a business, especially one in the service industry. She was taking shots, talking to people who clearly were not patrons, and slammed things when people were trying to order. I was shocked and disgusted. We walked out with never being served. I will ensure to never go there and make sure the word is spread about this employee. I believe we would have otherwise enjoyed this place. Very sad one rotten person can ruin an establishment.

We had a girls trip and couldnt have chosen a better place to stay. Jim and Carol were incredible hosts. The character of the property to the thoughtfulness of the rooms. This place deserves more than 5 stars!

Mmmm Perch at the Birch. Some of the best lake perch in town. Only available on Friday. Lunch portion is great but as good as it is, get all you can eat for just a few bucks extra. No doggie bags though.

Great drinks. The food is all bar food, but really good bar food. If you like wings, then you MUST give them a try. The staff has always been great, and the regulars are all laid back down to earth people.

This place has great food and good drinks. the kitchen staff is very consistent. my friend often orders the award winning chili cheese fries and i, myself order the boneless wings. so good. the burgers are great and so are the gyros as well. very authentic. my only complaints are weekends are super busy and Sunday you can build a bloody mary bar and taco bar but you cant order off the main menu until after a posted time. all the food is so good though.

Probably the only place for free tacos on Sunday in GR! Worth every trip.

Was lucky enough to meet my younger brother at this nice little spot for lunch today with a few colleagues. Great location, good menu and service, I can’t say enough good things about. Tray (spelling?was so cool- he took care of our group and was very forward on the recommendations and all was great!! I think my favorite was the Asian wings with spicy ranch... burger was pretty good too. I’ll definitely go again and I think I Great place is going in next door so very excited to spend more time In this area
