Biques - the only reason that Ive even given any stars at all .. location and flowing wine.The food was not up to par.One member of our party received their food and then an hour later, finally, the the other member of our party of two, received their food.And, one of us had a very upset stomach afterwards.The bombardment from flies can perhaps be overlooked, as not really something that can be controlled by the restaurant management, even though they did try.

I recommend you to start by ordering their very special and delicious fish-soup. Then you can have a beer. Top top top.

Good environment, the beah is in front of the restaurant. But the food takes too much time to be served. If you just want to have a drink and relax in front of the beach it is a good place.

Simple but nice beach restaurant. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu offers food from the grill, seafood, hamburgers and pizza. Beautiful beach with smooth sand, if you have children be careful because the sea can be quite flowing.

This is a personal favorite spot to eat and hang out in Beira.Great mix of local Mozambican and international tourists and expats. Outdoor picnic table seating is lovely in the late afternoon and evening.They serve a decent range of seafood, burgers, and local platters. A full bar includes all the usual duty-free liquor, imported wines, and a range of beers, also including 2M on tap.For some reason - possibly the fact that it doesnt stay open late - Biques has managed to not draw crowds of annoying football fans. +10

Hardly had anything on the menu available to order, chicken pizza took ages, was soggy and chewy. Worst food experience in Beira but a great location.

This is a good place that opens up to the beach. The customer care is good. You can watch football matches on TV here. However, they close at about 22:00hrs and may cut you short of an interesting match.

The food served was very good but the waiters mixed up our orders and kept us waiting for some time. Overally if l wasnt hungry and grumpy l would have loved the view of the sea and the cabanas whilst awaiting my food

One of the better restaurants and bars in Beira. Lovely outdoor seating area with the sea only meters away. Food is well prepared, but prawns have been out of stock for my last 2 visits

They have a nice outdoor space. We only had drinks there but wouldn’t recommend it for food unless you are after burgers or something similar.

I have had a better experience here before the old Biques burn down. But we had to wait long for our food. The meat was not good.

If you want to have good Mozambican food prepared by clean hands, this is the place. I love their fish. Yes, fresh fish however you get it is great. I like grilled fish. The best one I have had and that means a lot because most of the times I go out, I order a seafood and some are nasty but this place is different.
