Zoo with animals & birds in naturalistic enclosures, a recreated jungle clearing & kids' play area.
Fantastic place. You get so close to the animals. Could spend all day just watching the different animals and their daily activities. Very well kept and a little oasis.
Great place to visit. Lots of shade. Little ball play area for kids. Place to eat and drink. Animals appear to be looked after.
A really wonderful place. within 5 mins of arriving I was sitting beside a silverback Gorilla inches from the glass. For me the best part was the feel of the place, the buildings, waterfalls, plants, trees all made it feel like a forgotten world. We all had a great time. The only feedback was the slightly disinterested front desk staff and the blurry out of focus photos they tried to sell us upon leaving. Thankfully she retook them before we purchased them. Really worth the visit!
Absolutely 💯 it was fantastic animals looked great all of them Happy clean and very naturalGreat day out
Nice zoo! Its small but well maintained and the enclosures are not cramped like some other zoos. Checking the times to ensure you get to go into the lemur enclosure or the bird performance is a must to ensure you make the most of your visit. Cafe here and vending machines have sandwiches so you can have lunch by the animals. Make sure you visit while in Fuengirola!
This zoo is really something different in the middle of houses, buildings, the town and the road running past. You wouldnt expect it to be where it was and it was incredible inside. The enclosures and environment for the animals were clean, fresh and felt like home for the animals. They had a variety of animals and some Ive never seen before in my past zoo visits elsewhere. Ive attached a map to show you the idea of the type of animals youd see. The Tigers and leopard were my favourite but also enjoyed the baby orangutan!Wheelchair accessible and pushchair accessible. Toilets. 2 cafes. Play area. Gift shop. Can either buy tickets online, information points or on the door. There is also a hop on hop off bus/train available
Great little zoo - really cool exhibits that look so natural and not like cages - multiple species of animal together as they would be in the wild.I am always conscious of cruelty with zoos - and this one was absolutely not.
An absolutely beautiful zoo, well worth the visit.Plenty of animals in beautiful, spacious surroundings. The zoo isnt large, but you can easily spend 2 - 3 hours in here. Plenty variation of animals (birds, gorillas, tigers, monkeys, hippos etc.in lovely surroundings. Good facilities and you can bring your own food and drinks into the zoo.It never felt too busy and we really like the animal enclosures. It just felt really peaceful. There also was plenty of shade in the zoo, necessary when it gets very warm.Parking is available in the parking garages next and opposite the zoo and you get a 50% discount when you validate your ticket on exit of the zoo. We paid 3 euros for a 3 hour visit.Book online and check Groupon Spain as they sometimes have discounts. Definitely worth a visit!
This is an excellent animal park! They have a wide assortment of species, and our family thoroughly enjoyed exploring every pathway. The enclosures themselves were interesting, and many of the animals were active and lively during our early-afternoon visit. The food was reasonably priced and above-average quality for a amusement park restaurant.
Fairly small but great city zoo with a good variety of animals. Best visited in the evening when it is cooler and the animals are more active, plus I highly recommend watching the animal and bird encounter, which allowed you to see some of the creatures up close. Ive been there many times over the years and it looked like it is expanding with a new section opening in the future. There were two babies there, one baby gorilla and a baby orangutan too.
So good experience in BioPark!Clean and happy animals!Even for children under 3 years old its a beautiful experience!Recommend to visit!Just one issue, i didnt find any healthy food or fresh juices but yes lots of habitual snacks as coca-cola or ice cream 🍨.I wonder if in future you will upgrade you location with some healthy options for adults and children!Thank you BioPark Fuengirola!
What a great place to visit to see how they have set out all the areas. They have put a lot if thought into each and every area from waterfalls to shaded areas. The animals look as they are in their own habat so relaxed and enjoying their settings . Also the shows where amazing and well thought out I would go back without hesitation.
This Zoo is simply fantastic. The staff are great. Both friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell they actually care. The viewing windows are super clean, as is the whole place. The food is reasonably priced and actually very tasty. Its beautifully designed. The animals are really interesting. I could not fault it. Saw one of the shows they put on, and was blown away. I can not fault this place, at all. Got a spare couple of hours? then visit this zoo, youll have a lovely time. Its really charming. British zoos should take a visit and see what a proper zoo is. Its not the biggest, but always believed its quality over quantity. Very much recommended 👌🏼
Amazing place , love how u can get such good views of the animals , they look very well taken care off .
A beautiful natural park with all sorts of animals. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.
Very well Conserved and preserved zoo. Very small compare to Twycross Zoo UK but very well maintained. Only four stars because parking is a big issue. Thats pretty much everywhere in fuengirola.
Fantastic Zoo. Well thought out, compact but plenty to see. Annual pass allows you to pop in when you need a break from Fuengirola. A must do!!
Nice and beautiful animal park. You can see so many recreated environments like Madagascar animal habitat, Asian animal habitat, etc. Theres also restaurants to stop and refuel. Its worth visiting.
Great place to bring kids, also a good place for nature lovers, the tropical forest recreation is magical. Will definitely visit again.
Nice, beautiful zoo. Lots of animals and very educational. Theres a restaurant and playground inside. It is stroller friendly. Its not a huge zoo, but big enough.
Great for entertaining kids. A good mix of animals. Very clean and not too expensive. Located close to parking lot. They also cover 50 percent discount on parking if you ask them for a voucher. Only drawback is the forced pay to family photo with gorilla statue.
Lovely little zoo....small but a lot packed in there...cant believe how close u can get to the tigers ...komodo dragons were cool also...the camien are huge also 👍
A bit pricy but totally worth it, make sure you’re not in a rush when visiting, be ready to walk the park twice this is because animals will move around from time to time so will have a better change to see them closely specially if you visit around 2 pm or so. They will charge you 9 Euros or more for the picture in entrance (some photos they take for you next to some gorilla 🦍 statue but they will not tell you so make sure that you want the picture. Besides that is a charming place lots of birds and trees. Hidden gem in fuengirola
Im not the biggest fan of Zoos but they do have a place in education and conservation and my 4 year old just loves animals. But Bioparc was very impressive, fantastic variety of Animals including Tigers, Leopards, Chimps, Gorillas and Orangutans. Very well laid out with lots of shade and places to rest. A good cafe but also vending machines well placed throughout that take cash and card. The exhibits are great and well designed. Plenty of places for the tall and small to View from. You really could get up close and personal with so many amazing animals. The gift shop was so lovely and modern and the nice photos the park team take at the entrance was a nice addition and actually very reasonably priced. What made our day was they baby Western Gorilla playing at one of the viewing windows and seeing the new born baby Orangutan. Its only €1 cheaper to book online so didnt bother pre booking. There was mtiple school trips on whe we were in and you would barley know
Fantastic little zoo to visit in Fuengirola, well set out,not too big but plenty of variety to see, well worth a day trip
This park was incredible. Focused on conservation and simulating a natural environment, it is a stunning artifical jungle with hundreds of animals roaming freely.🦍🐆🐅🐗🦇🦩 The viewing platforms and areas are great, and you can watch the feeding times from only metres away.🐊🦎🐠🦗🌴 Theres are 3 areas to explore - Madagascar, Africa and Asia, as well as a gift shop and a great cafe/restaurant that had really nice food!Toilets were clean, walkways accessible, lots of bins, vending machines with cold water and snacks, and entry was a fair €23 euros. 🙂 we had a fantastic time and would 100% go back there again! Thank you🌞
The most amazing beautiful place in the area. I went with my two best friends and we had the most magical time, could have gone back every day if we could. You can tell how well the animals are looked after, and their enclosures are so well designed and spacious. Plus the food was very nice in the restaurant, and the vegetarian options were good. Would 100% recommend and will go back if I’m every in this area of Spain again! :)
Amazing bio park with a great landscape there, many beautiful animals. You walk through real jungles with wooden bridges. Really recommended for visit.
Amazing zoo experience make sure you visit enclosures a few times to reap the benefits
A brilliant zoo to visit with young family. Perfectly sized and not too big with loads of animals, a playground and a superb cafe.
We loved our time at the Bioparc, my husband loves zoos in general. This was a bit more special because the first time we went there was for my birthday just shortly after we were dating. We went there again a while later with my mother for him to meet here. This is a special place for us. We definetly will be back from time to time to see the gorgeous animals. Our favorite was the red panda.
Nice food. With child menu there is additional giraffe mask. Toilets are clean. There could be more animals, but anyway a lot to see. Visited show with birds and small animals. Spent 4 hours.
Nice place in the centre of town very green for the most part and quiet very clean but no opportunity for expansion. Lots of nice animals but I had great concern some of the larger animals had no shelter it rained for an hour when we were there and the orangutans had nowhere to keep dry no greenery for them to shade under. Tiger enclosure small half of it was cordoned off with electric wire one of tigers paced back and forth the whole time we were there, again no shelter or shade this was like this for other bigger animals too. Great they are big on conservation and the enclosures were spotless but I think this place needs to move to a much bigger location for the larger animals and keep the smaller animals in the city.
Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish!.Im from the 🇬🇧 and this is by far the best Wildlife experience i have ever had!.Lots of Animals, lovely weather!.Great Facilities!.Heres a few snaps from my holiday.Highly recommend for all ages 👌 😍🦎🦛🦔🦍🐅🦂🐒
Its a small park with many different unique animals. We just miss some information, what time we could see events with different animals - so we miss one and almost didnt go to another - yep, there is only two events durning the day.
"In the middle of it all, still enjoyable."I usually dont like zoos (for obvious reasonsbut this one had a charm and a caring beyond the rest.Totally recommend. Good price (both entrance and indoor snack/drinks), amazing "shows" and nice staff. If you are in Fuengirola and like/love/adore animals. Do go here 🦁
Well maintained park in the centre of the city for kids. Lots of animals, birds and well designed interiors to give it a temple ruin feel.
Its a small place , however well done with big enclosures for the animals. Also the park has a nice program to help with the preservation of some of the endanger species.
Whether it be a cloudy rainy day or sunny day, this location is a sure hit with animal lovers. We had lots of individualized attention and the place was not crowded which is a relief when children are going back and forth. The location was very well kept, tidy and clean. The animals were well taken care of and looked happy in their made up habitats. We definitely recommend visiting the souvenir store for unique items. Also watch for feeling times, for a close up look. We got to see the lemurs up close & it was indeed a thrill. A must see for any animal lover!
Nice little zoo, with some pretty cool animals. Nice and quiet, and the animals had a decent amount of space which is always really nice too see. I did see Some of the visitors throwing a banana to the monkeys whilst there was staff around, which I think is rude and potentially unhealthy for the animals, but the Parc cant help that.
Well cared for and the staff very friendly but not a patch on Bioparc Valencia. Valencia is much bigger with lots more animals.
Great experience in the middle of the city! There are few animals that Ive seen for the first time in my life. We appreciate the song played by the no keys in the trees. Staff was friendly.
Great place with lots of mammals and reptiles living there. We love them. The best was see my pictures below. Worth the money.
What a lovely, peaceful place in the middle of Fuengirola! When you go morning time, you can see how animales wake up to New day. Perfect time here and good Restaurant to have Lunch also!
Loved this place the animals are well looked after, its nice to go to a zoo and actually see the animals instead of them being out of sight especially the Tigers, we was lucky and spotted the bats in the aviary too ,but the gorillas made my day mum dad and the little baby right next to the window was great.
I am not sure how they pulled it off. Having a zoo in the middle of a town centre sounds very crazy. However, the way that they have displayed the exhibits, animals and fine restaurant is totally astonishing. This is a great place for kids and for adults too.
Cute little zoo in the centre of Fuengirola. You dont need to walk for hours and hours to see some animal, its very compact. My 2year old loves it! Gorillas, chimpanzees, tigers, aligators, flamingos and many more to see.
A great day out, but quite expensive. Watch out for money off coupons around Malaga.Lots of interesting animals and all completely accessible for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
Great little place. Youll spend a couple of hours max here as it is quite small but it is a quality 2 hours for the price. The animals environment is really good for a zoo. You can get really close to them and on our visit there was a baby gorilla which was amazing to watch how they interacted around it. Would definitely recommend to fill an early morning gap in your day.
Great zoo that clearly cares about animal welfare and respects all animals.Takes about an hour to walk around, but you can stop for coffee and circle back to your favorites to find more angles!Avoid school holidays and school visit days - just like any zoo.Cafe is closed due to covid but kiosk is open and vending machines have lots of options.
