Wspaniałe miejsce. Najpierw przetarłam mocno oczy, zdziwił mnie pokój, jego bardzo dawno afrykański klimat.Szybko oswoiłam się i zostaliśmy dodatkową noc.Możesz tu liczyć na wspaniałą obsługę, przyrodę próbującą dostać się do twojego pokoju, ciszę i spokój.Wygodne miejsca w barze, piwo, jedzenie, gry i książki. ( Małe porcje jedzenia )Z łodzi skorzystaliśmy we wsi, są tam przemiłe dzieci, którym potrzebna jest piłka nożna ponieważ poprzednia się popsuła.W pokoju są moskitiery, wszystko stare, materac bardzo mocno zużyty, po spuszczeniu wody w toalecie cofa się smrodek do pokoju. Lepiej korzystać z toalety przy barze. Same plusy bo wiedzieliśmy, czego się spodziewać - luksusów nie ma - jest cudownie dziko.

We had an amazing time at Bintang Bolong Lodge! The rooms were beautiful and we loved lounging on the deck at sunset. We went on a wonderful boat ride as well. Highly recommend this spot!

Das Essen war ganz okay, allerdings ist der Platz am Steg wunderschön! Wir sind noch Kayak für 10 Euro gefahren.

Sehr schöne und ruhige Unterkunft. Schöner Platz zum Angeln und für Bootstouren. Einziges Manko war, dass unsere Buchung über booking.com nicht akzeptiert wurde und der Preis dann um einiges höher war.

If you like to feel a real Gambian atmosphere, stay here. Do not expect 5* luxury for a 3* price. I was here in 2010 and 2013 This was the 3rd time a stayed here and certainly not the last time. They are improving by the years. Good to relax and good to see the nature. Staff is very friendly and kitchen is ok.

This is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy nature. You have your lodge right next to the river. If you are a naturelover this is the right place to be. Do you want 5 stars luxury this is your cup of tea. A couple of small renovations are advisable.

Without doubt one of the favorite lodges I visited during my time in Gambia. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staffs with their beautiful smiles. Thank you soo much for your services. And not to forget the lunch was yummy :)

prachtig gelegen aan de rivier, met een grote houten steiger om te eten, drinken, relaxen. Vanaf de steiger de rivier in om heerlijk te zwemmen. s avonds buffet . huisjes prima voor 1 of 2 nachtjes, huisjes waren verder schoon en zeker de badkamer was keurig. ik heb geen insect gezien zoals sommigen hier aangeven. overdag voldoende dingen om te ondernemen, boottochtjes, jeep huren, fiets en wandeltochten

Terror fue lo que pasé en aquel alojamiento. Empezando por el wc atascado por las heces del anterior inquilino y siguiendo por la lluvia de cucarachas que caían de los techos de pajas y de las cortinas, donde había auténticas marañas de ellas. Los colchones mojados y las mosquiteras rotas. El dueño se marchó y nos quedamos allí solos y sin luz. Horripilante.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Anlage sauber. Die Hütten zum Schlafen über Stege erreichbar. Von hier aus kann man Rundfahrten auf dem Seitenarm Gambia Flußes machen.

Ein supi Ding, nur das kalte Bier ist am Abend ausgegangen

Despite the beautiful location, the big issue with this place is the attitude of the Manager who was rude and extremely unprofessional when we informed him that we had been unable to get water in our bathroom. "No, I dont believe you!" he shouted...and when we asked "Are you saying that were lying?" he was still unwilling to simply offer to look into the problem. While the situation was easily solved (when we discovered the tap worked in a particular waythanks to another staff member, we left this lodge feeling insulted and extremely disappointed, as it could have been an enjoyable experience but was instead totally ruined by such a hostile and unwelcoming manner by the person who should be taking responsibility for ensuring guests have a pleasant and positive stay. Next time, we would certainly look to stay instead at one of the new alternative accommodations in the area.

Beautifully presented lodges

Unterkünfte am Wasser nicht zu empfehlen.Kein Licht im Bad. Notdürftig fertig gestellt.

Man fühlt sich dort der Natur etwas näher, aber nicht Jedermanns Sache. Wer Luxus erwartet ist fehl am Platz.

Park der Anlage sehr schön. Zimmer brauchen etwas Renovierung.

SEHR EINFACHE Unterkunft - wer sowas mal als "Abenteuer" betrachten kann ist klar im Vorteil 😂. Die Natur drumherum ist sehr schön und der Sonnenaufgang ein Traum. Das essen einfach, aber lecker. Getränke natürlich günstiger als in den hotels oder badeorten. Ich sag nur - back to the roots

Unterkünfte einfach aber afrikanisch gut.Essen sehr gut und ausreichend.WLAN nur im Restaurant, aber schwach.Sehr schöne Umgebung. Überall Mangroven.

Prachtlocatie, vriendelijke mensen... waar voor je geld :-)Alleen geld meenemen op voorhand, want er zijn geen banken in de buurt!

Een mooie ligging, prachtig uitzicht en vriendelijke mensen.Dat zijn de kenmerken van deze lodge.De nieuwe huisjes zijn erg ruim. Ze hebben een ruime badkamer en een grote kast in de kamer.Voor het huisje heb je een fantastisch uitzicht op de rivier. Zoals ook vanaf de steiger voor het restaurant. Vanaf deze steiger kun je zwemmen. Op de steiger staan wat luie stoelen om te zonnebaden.We hebben heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant van Bolong Bintang Lodje. Aanrader!

Heel mooie locatie. Niveau 1 ,2 sterren voor Packpakkers of voor maximum een WE overnachting. U slaapt in paalhutjes met beperkt comfort maar met een fantastisch zicht op de rivier. Veel vogels. Gezellig. Eten ok.

Not very busy

A relaxing stop in the middle of Gambia. The location is great and the huts on stilts are comfortable.There are a few details that prevent it from being great though. The food is crazy prices for a little sauce and rice 250 lunch / 300 dinner, and I always left the table hungry.Wifi doesnt work

A beautiful lodge at a magnificant site near the river.With very friendly hosts. Enjoyed the dancing by local people in he evening. The walk through the village gaveus a good inside view of live in The Gambia. Good beds. Good food and drinks.
