We went there, but found out there is no longer Bin Ateeq Restaurant. It is Nizwa Al Khair Restaurant.The Restaurant has ready food.

Nous avons voulu nous y rendre lors de notre voyage, malheureusement le restaurant est fermé 1 mois pour hygiène...

Qui si mangia vera cucina omanita,nella stanzette per famiglie, in terra, seduti sul tappeto, con il vassoio centrale su cui sono disposti tutti i piatti. Il locale si presenta senza troppe pretese, ma caratteristico.Consiglio di provare il menù a prezzo fisso che propone un misto di assaggi, servito con bibite analcoliche e menta e limone . Infine vi verrà servito thè con datteri e gelato.

Authentic omani cuisine for who wants to try the omani dishes

This a Yemeni restaurant, some locals suggested it to me and they were right. Staff try their best with their little English. The best ever bread I had in Oman

Piège à touristes. A lentrée on nous propose un menu touristique que nous refusons, on nous tend donc une carte "omanaise". Accueil peu sympathique, on est enfermés dans une pièce lugubre... que des touristes dans le restaurant. Nous commandons des plats typiques on nous dit quil ny en a pas... On se rabat sur dautres.. service peu avenant, il faut insister pour obtenir des couverts et du pain... bref à éviter!

المكان قديم للغاية والعمال غير مؤهلين لتعامل مع الزبائن الاكل لا يرقى ابدا بالمستوى العادي النظافة اقل من العادية ..اماكن غسيل اليدين مقرفة و رائحة الطبخ التي تملأ المكان تعلق بالملابس سوف لان اكرر الزيارة

Very good for an Omaneze cuisine experience. They have 3 types of tasting menus: 10 OR, 7 OR and 5 OR. Take the 10 OR for two persons as the portions are big

Should have walked out as soon as we walked in. We were presented a menu that was clearly for tourists only. More expensive than ordering Tapas in London!We refused to order from this menu, immediately given another cheaper menu, ordered two items that weren’t nice at all.Don’t go here, as mentioned in other reviews, it’s a tourist trap. Literally - you’re locked into a separate dirty room, with absolutely no atmosphere.

I wouldnt recommend here if youre looking for pure traditional omani food. The prices are bit high. Its not worth it if you are choosy about the food.. but if any sort of food works for you.. it might be your place. However the foods are mediocre.

Belle expérience, il propose un menu permettant de goûter à une dizaine de spécialités omanaises en petite quantité, avec entree plats boisson et dessert, servi dans de petits salons intimistes sur tapis et coussins, 14 rials pour famille de 4, excellent rapport qualité prix pour oman!

I would absolutely not recommend this place, even though it has been mentioned in travel blogs. The food was very mediocre, not fresh and lacked flavour. Guest get a private seating area which does not create a nice atmosphere.

Being referred there by locals, we went to get good Omani food for dinner. The floor seating was a nice touch. Food, however was bland semi-Indian fare and we didnt think it did any honour to actual Omani cuisine. As we werent very hungry, we shared 4 7-rial menus between the six of us.The food was oily, fish and chicken were fried to a stiff, dry, chewy state and some bits just didnt seem fresh.The atmosphere was dim and gloomy. I wouldnt call it dirty, but worn down carpets and wall panels made us feel as if in a lousy tourist trap.

As a start its not actually real Omani food as they say but the food is good. I went one or twice but the employee were having bad attitude.

If you want to try a real omani experience this is the place you are looking for.Everyone has a private space where to eat, sitting on a carpet and lying on a pillow.Food is good: you can choose between different taste menu: 5/7/10 OR and taste different omani plates!I reccomend it!

Very drippings food with nothing to see with the real Omanis food. Horrible service, absolutly not to recommend.

Really cannot recommend. I didnt feel any spirit of Omani culture here. Food was poor in quality and didnt give a good impression of the wonderful food that Oman can offer.

Food and tea was very nice but chicken was extremely oily. Place was extremely dull due to dim lighting. They should light up to make it appear more lively.
