Amazing customer service. Im allergic to monosodium glutamate. The employees went to make sure there was none in their food. The food was great. Highly recommend the loaded bakedpotatoes salad

The smoked polish sausage sandwich was decently tasty and the baked beans were okay. The pork rib that I tried was also okay, but dry. The service and staff friendliness was excellent!!

Not what I expected. My ribs were cold. The baked beans tasted like pork n beans I had when I was a kid. No taste. I may try this place again (meat onlywhen the food is hot. Very disappointed I expected more for the price. Sad to say but at least at Hog Wild your food is hot and tasty.

Food is decent but the staff was beyond kind and courteous. Clean and well prepared dining room , didnt rush me or make me feel like I was bothering them. A+ on the service, B+ on the food.

Food was really good. I loved the hot sauce you have.. Great pork portion on the sandwhich lunch special for the price. Only downside is, my friend and I were only the second customers in today and the workers already looked like they hated being there. The guy with a beard and sword tattoo on this right arm very unprofessional. I walked up to order, only thing he said was "what do you want". He tosses the buns on table and threw the pulled pork on top.

Fast service and great food. Had a birthday that we put together last minute. Called them an hour before we needed the food and they came through. Was hot a fresh. Will do this again

Billy Sims has really improved since they got here. I really enjoy the pulled pork it has amazing flavor. The staff is great the food is fresh, the restaurants clean and its all consistent. I highly recommend Billy Sims, and glad I kept coming back.

The people that work there are very courteous and helpful. And the place is always nice and clean whenever we have visited. But whenever we order ribs, there are always some in our order that are too dry. With this full rack order the six ribs on the top were okay, but seemed old, and the six ribs in this picture were on the bottom, including the "ends", and were very dry and I was unable to eat them. Im sure that if I asked they would accommodate me with ribs that I would be able to eat, but I trusted them and wasnt paying attention. I will next time. The quality is inconsistent. Thats too far to drive and not be satisfied, especially for the amount of money I spent. I use to refer friends and drive clear to Andover for their BBQ on the regular, but that has changed.

So inconsistent. Ordered ribs a few weeks ago and some of the best Ive had. Ordered tonight and they were dry and almost crispy.

Food was great but portion sizes on the brisket were small for the increased price.

The worst. People are nice and the location is good, but the food is garbage. Literally anywhere else in Wichita is better.

Billy sims is by no means my favorite BBQ place but it isn’t bad either, somewhere in the middle. The good was my food was ready very quickly and the lady behind the counter was very nice. Also the sauces were tasty and had good flavor and the restaurant was clean. The bad was it was a little pricey and I hate to complain about price in a pandemic because quality meat is expensive right now. However for what I got (BBQ sandwich w/cheese, Mac n cheese, and a drinkthe order came to 14.43$. The Mac n cheese was not great, the drink and the bbq sandwich were good and filling but I wouldn’t call it great. Overall I enjoyed my meal here but nothing wowed me

Got the "loaded" tator with pulled pork and it was awesome!!! Loved the sauce. Id go again and Im picky when it comes to BBQ and pricing LOL!

Unbelievable! Food is nothing like their online menu. Definitely never eat here. This is the two meat combo.

LOVED this! We were concerned, because it looks like an old gas station, but the portions were good, the service was AMAZING and did I tell you how good it was?! We went back the next day to try other meat!!

Great food. Had the pulled pork tacos, and single meat dinner (also pulled porkwith coleslaw and BBQ baked beans. All of it was phenomenal.

Ok service, bland, dry brisket. It needed a lot of sauce and to me if it needs a lot of sauce, its not good bbq. I like kinda dry meat too and that was too dry. I probably wont go twice. $13 for a sandwich and drink at that level of taste and quality seems too expensive. I Would of been happier at hog wild bbq.

Pulled pork sandwich was very good...also ample amount of meat. Price was reasonable. However we feel that $7 for a single hot link (no sideswas a little high.

Service was great, friendly and helpful. Brisket was overcooked and dry,and they charge$2.00 extra for brisket. The polish sausage was dry. The potato salad was delicious,and the baked beans were really good.An acceptable meal in the $10 to $15 range, but at over $20 not worth it at all.

This place is a joke! Should’ve realized with only 1 car in the parking lot it was a bomb. If I could give 0 stars I would. I thought I’d try though due to the reputation. I guess I should’ve read the reviews first. Not only was the food cold and dry, when I said something to the manager nothing was done. No comped bill, no can we bring you fresh? Just a quick oh I’m sorry that happened. I’ll make sure it’s better next time. Ha, there won’t be a next time! The manager looked and acted I might add like she was around 16. Who hires a teenager for manager? Please don’t waste your time here. Or at least get a manager that actually cares about the customers.

This could be so much better. Sliced Brisket was dry and in my opinion not worth the upcharge on a dinner. Pulled Pork was good but do not get very much. The Hot Link needs another name. It is basically a jalapeno cheddar dog, and not that great. No the sides are good. The beans have a ton of flavor and meat served hot. The loaded potato salad is creamy style and loaded with extras.

Absolutely wonderful employees..It is 15 minutes before closing and the young man and young lady were more than happy to serve us. These 2kids made our night as we are truckers and the food was wonderful..

One star too much. I didnt eat, but went to do it. I noticed cashier was handling dirty money, as well as putting on gloves and handling a mop and taking trash out and never washed hands. Dont they know if they put gloves on with filthy hands, that the gloves just got dirty enough to give anyone that wont take a stand a real good fill. No way will I ever be seen there again. A dump, at best.

I love this place. Its a bit pricey but its worth it. I did not get my Texas toast😥 with my full rack rib meal. And the side portions seem small but very delicious.

Great brisket and ribs! Now when they first opened it was horrible but my husband said lets give it one more try and Im so grateful we did!! The ribs have meat not all grissel and fat or greasy the sliced brisket is so delicious and melts in your mouth!! The loaded baked potato salad is Addictive!! The baked beans are delicious!! I even love the dessert in mason jar are heaven 😍 We go weekly now and it is so delicious wont go anywhere else now 😋 You must go!!!!

First time eating here. Way over priced. We got our order to go. No bbq sauce was in my sandwich order. Not a big deal- but it was very dry pulled pork. And the worst part was I found a hair in my potato salad. Gross!!! And the guy ringing me up had his mask around his chin.

Before I begin to rate Billy Simms Barbecue in Wichita, KS, it should be noted that the parking lot was empty before entering the restaurant. Should you see an empty parking lot in front any restaurant avoid the place at all costs! With that being said, disappointment is too weak of a word to describe the food here.Beginning with the ribs, they were dry, cold and had zero flavor. My companion stated that they were worse than hospital food. We could recognize instantly that the ribs were not cooked freshly; they were "heat and serve"from a box. The sauces had either too much vinegar or not enough (they come in packets; you get no sauce on your ribs).In hindsight, I should have noticed there was no steam heat emanating from them meat; they must have come out of a lukewarm holding oven because they were cold to the touch. Ive had AMAZING dry rub barbecue from Chicago to Kansas City (Missouri and Kansasto Texas and this was not it. Not by a long shot.As for the sides, what a waste! Everything was from a can or a box and tasted a such. Lets take a rundown:-Mashed potatoes: horrible, they tasted like they had rubber on top of them. There was saran wrap on top of them. Completely horrid.-Macaroni and Cheese: It would have been tenfold better if they just made Kraft Mac n Cheese. The flavor was really bad. My partner ate less than a spoonful then discarded them.-Dressing: bland, mushy and did not have the gravy I requested (a good thing it was missing, else Id have been eating tasteless baby food), and was overly salted.-Original Potato Salad: store-bought is much better.-Green Beans: exactly what you expect from a can with an added flavor packet- dull and salty.-Cole Slaw: the one bright spot of the meal, still tasted of off-brand Dole premix with slurry (just get KFC slaw, youre stomach will thank you!).-"Garlic", or Buttered Bread: Nope. Soggy, tasteless, its a hard pass.In America, during the time of covid-19, a vacation in an RV should be fun and filled with great tasting food, along with the Purple Mountain Majesties. This was just a red-hot blooded mess. 1.5 stats is being generous. L, especially when 10 bones of ribs plus all those sides and 2 drinks was over $32. Need I say more?

My husband and i both ordered the spud and omg so amazing! It was large enough and filling enough for both of us to take home leftovers! Well worth the price and the staff was very polite and accommodating! Definitely a regular stop for our family!

The husband and I were craving BBQ so decided to try this place. Bad move! We both had brisket and it was tough and flavorless, I had the ribs with mine as well and they were tough also. The only good thing we had was the loaded potato salad and that was just okay. The employees were nice but the food was 👎

The barbecue here is delicious. You really cant go wrong with your choice of meats. The chicken has great flavor and the mac and cheese is delicious as well. Staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend. You cant really would go wrong with anything on the menu.

We had brisket and pork catered and was excellent. The best service and was provided everything we needed to serve the meal. Utensils,napkins, serving tongs, spoons, and even single packets of utensils with salt and pepper packets. I would highly recommend this meal to everyone and was very reasonably priced. This place has amazing barbeque sandwiches. Their pulled pork sandwich and brisket are out of this world so juicy and tender with the perfect amount of fat content. The hot and hickory BBQs are amazing also. You gotta champion size your sandwich to get a 6 oz serving. All for under 10 bucks. The help is definitely lacking though. Not very friendly and one doesnt even like BBQ. 🤔

Ive reviewed Billy Sims Barbecue before, but I just have to share my latest experience. Since Im on a keto diet, I am eating low carbs and high fats. Today I got the Heisman sandwich minus the bread, but instead of the smoked bologna I opted for the smoked pork belly as per the owners suggestion. Because I cannot eat the barbecue sauce I had them sprinkle extra rub on the meat. Heres how it stacked up - pork belly, hot link, and pulled pork on top. Absolutely fantastic! Moist, flavorful and more than enough to eat. I dont think Ive ever had better BBQ. Friendly staff that have no problem changing something up when requested.

Bought brisket only and their super baked beans. Brisket a little dry but I put it in the baked beans and let it soak up the juice. Great for lunches. The two gals working were fast, efficient, and friendly. Im new to the area and have not tried all the menu, stuck on what I like for know. Good job !

Had a great keto friendly pulled pork "schooner" salad today. It comes with 3 ounces of pulled pork and I added 2 more ounces. I had them leave off the corn and croutons. On the pork they sprinkle it with their rub (no sugar and no carbs- I added more rub and asked them to chop in some of the fattier pork. It was moist and delicious. Had a couple of tablespoons of ranch dressing on the side. Here are the macros built to the best of my abilities - net carbs 5.8g, fat 40.9g, protein 41.6g, calories 590. Delicious, filling and satisfying. Friendly, accommodating staff too.

Ate here for first time tonight. While restaurant barbecue, is never as good as homemade, I thought this was quite good. Very good ribs, good brisket, and excellent turkey. The baked potato salad is exceptional. The three young ladies working this evening were all very friendly, attentive,and very welcoming. I would definitely return again. Thank you ladies.

Excellent tasting BBQ. Competitive price and very friendly staff. Was just a little cool inside for my taste as far as the Air Conditioning but had a really great experience and meal. And they do cater and ask for at least 48 hour advanced notice for all catering orders. Oh I highly recommend the baked potato salad, not your typical side dish and complimented the meal perfectly.
