Nothing fancy, just good diner food!! Had the best breakfast, cooked fresh to order, outstanding service (our waitress took our 3 orders with all the changes we requested, no pad to write it down and everything was perfect)! Ill definitely be back!!!

This place is a hidden gem! Dont be fooled by the exterior (nor the old south interior). We were greeted warmly at the door, and the great customer service continued throughout our visit.We went for breakfast. It was busy, but not bad at all. They have ALL the breakfast faves, and everything was seasoned to perfection. I got a big breakfast with grits, eggs, corned beef hash, and pancakes. Of course, I ended up taking half home for the next day. I was expecting silver dollar pancakes. Nope! These are like the pancakes grandma made on Sunday morning...thick (like flattened biscuitsand steaming hot. It was all so good. I definitely recommend it.Sorry...I was so excited, I forgot to take photos.

I wish I had taken a picture of my loaded hash browns for yall. They were so good! Great hole in wall place! Cant wait to try the whole menu. Friendly folks, almost forgot I was in Jacksonville and back in the country. I believe I found my go to place. Oh yeah.... the coffee was good too! Thats very important. See yall there!

My husband & I ate there this past Saturday for the first time. Food was good & so was the service. We will be back. This place reminds me of the little diners my grandpa took me too growing up. Oddly enough, his name was also Bill! Not too many like that left. This is a hidden gem on the westside of Jax.

Great little place. The staff was really friendly and you can tell this place has been here awhile. We always enjoy finding little places like these on our road trips.

Stopped for breakfast. The food & atmosphere was quaint & friendly. My only problem was I felt I wasnt given the same attention as the regulars. The obvious regulars got multiple refills on coffee without asking; I had to ask for my one refill. Everyone gets their toast; I get none. Never asked if I needed anything else & I had to run down my check. Another gentleman came in midway thru my food who was obviously new as well because he didnt know whether to sit or wait. They still hadnt checked on him when I left. If youre a regular, youll love the place. If youre new, and are ok being overlooked while they joke with everyone else & dont mind waiting a while youll probably enjoy the food as well as the atmosphere. Otherwise nice little Old School Hole in the wall Diner.

Bills dinner on Ramona is a great place to have breakfast/lunch, very friendly staff, reminds me of Sunday breakfast at moms house.

We stopped for lunch. I had grilled cheese and French fries. I dont usually eat French fries but Bills serve really good French fries. My husband had chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and fried okra. He said his meal was real good.

I had their burger and it was great. Fresh meat, in fact I saw them making them in the back.

You can always count on Bills for good food in a relaxed atmosphere. They are open many times when other places are closed (example: the hurricane Matthew). Its a favorite hangout for many in the neighborhood.

This place is in the top 5 local establishments to eat at in Jacksonville. Good food, great atmosphere, always a smile and a laugh or 2. Owner has been here since started as a dishwasher.40+years. Dedication and devotion, definitely a must try if on the Westside of Jacksonville.

Always good food at Bills! Ms. Carol takes pride in her place & it shows. Its a very laxed place, down to earth, mom n pop kinda restaurant. Regular customers most of the time. Sierra is awesome. Ladies cookin in the back are awesome too. No complaints about Bills.

Food was great and service too. The restaurant is very small inside and we felt like we were sitting on top of others. lol

This diner is truly a hidden gem! It’s like time stood still and a place from the 90’s is still around. The food looks and tastes exactly like home cooked meals. The vegetables even taste better than Famous Amos! You deserve to try it out!

Bills was a great stop for a quick breakfast while traveling! Nothing fancy, but great food. The pancakes are HUGE but we’d highly recommend trying one with chocolate chips in it. Yum! The ham and cheese omelette was also really tasty.

Stopped in to order some breakfast to go. So happy we did! Cute, laid back atmosphere. We got big Mikes tater omelet...fed us both easily. Came with toast and yummy grits with plenty of butter! We will be back to try the burgers that the very friendly cook suggested

Great little spot for some southern cooking. Their breakfast is especially good, I highly recommend the western omelette. This is one of those places where the local ol timers gather every morning to drink coffee and swap stories. Its not in a location you would expect to get great food, but give it a shot and youll be glad you did.

What an amazing find, Bills diner is! Talk about the epitome of a family restaurant. You will immediately be made to feel right at home. Many of the other diners are regulars and the staff will usually address them by name. The food is homemade and cooked with love! Try any of the daily specials and youll be amazed. The breakfast is utterly fantastic as well! You must try it if youre ever in the area. You wont regret it!

Great home grown eatery, pancakes were huge, the big breakfast was just that. Wife had chicken salad, very good. Highly recommend

I’ve been getting their Turkey Club Sandwiches for the last 20+ years. They never cease to be delicious. The service is quick and friendly. I had their fried okra for the first time today and it was yummy!

We only had breakfast but it was pretty good. I always regret not getting a burger when I have a choice and the burgers looked pretty good. Might have to come back for lunch one day. The building looks a little run down, but dont let that scare you away.

Starting with my dislikes, the microwave is over used, some of the other diners were rude, and the decor could use an update.As for the likes, the food was outstanding and the price is fair. While the restaurant was about half full, one waitress handled it well. She didnt hover nor, stay gone too long.All in all, pretty damned good.

My fiancé works next door and Ive eaten here numerous times! The food tastes AMAZING! My favorite meal would definitely be their hamburger steak. I would definitely recommend this place 😉

Excellent staff and food. Coffee is the best, right drinking temperature and excellent taste.If you like hot stuff, you have to try the redneck sausage. It is fantastic.

Food is always delicious! Price is very reasonable, they certainly dont skimp on quantity. We eat there on a weekly basis. Carol (ownerand the staff are always very pleasant and attentive. Best home cooking around town!
