Contemporary European chain dishing up separate breakfast, afternoon tea, lunch and dinner menus.
Amazing food, reasonably priced. Owned by Richard Caring, owner of The Ivy, steak frites £22, burgers £12, bottle of wine £21. Friendly, smiley, professional staff, buzzy atmosphere…..and it’s WARM.
In a lovely rainy day visiting windsor castle, thanks all google reviews which help me find this nice and lovely fairly big restaurant with friendly staff in the GWR railway station, nice location.I had garlic flat bread and chicken burger but I will forsure try an icecream which was garnished with caramel sauce in my next visit😁
Girl that works here is an over dramatic Karen over some uncooked carrots? Ordered some carrots and peas and the carrots came uncooked like cmon now Cathy is that normal
Visited for breakfast on Monday 24th with mine and a friends family before a visit to Legoland.Service was one of the best experiences of service in the UK. The waiter immediately offered us teas and coffees and to bring forward the food for the kids. Very smart.Have had good experiences with Bills elsewhere, but this was exceptional.
Bills Windsor Saturday 30th Oct 2022.Lucky to get a table as the restaurant was busy when we arrived. Shown to the table but took a while to get our drinks. Made a selection and was clear to tell the waitress I did not want onions (allergy and intolerance). Food arrived with coleslaw, I appreciate it was on the side in separate dish but Id specifically said as I have an allergy that I did not want any onions with my food (different waitress brought the food to the table), explained the situation and she was a little dismissive, she didnt understand at all (poor, ALL food allergies or intolernace shoukd be taken seiously). Service was OK, a little slow perhaps. Table next to us had to send 2 meals back as cold !! Sadly not the best experience so wont be returning....have had good experiences in London but Windsor fell short. Sorry
The service started off good and then it went down hill. We asked for the 1 starter ordered to out with the main but they brought it out separate as a stater so all 8 of us watched 1 person eat the starter. Dinner’s were fine until pudding. One person was still eating dinner and they brought out our puddings and asked us if we asked for them. We politely said no so the waitress took them back (this happened before our table was cleared). The waitress then comes to clear the table except for the person still eating. Once pudding came out the hot puddings were cold and the ice creams came already melted! They didn’t bother clearing the rest of the table so one person their main plate in front of them with pudding plate on top. Not a great sight. Poor table service. They also automatically added 12.5% service charge for the poor service. Will not be taking my family there again
Really tasty, good quality Food, surprisingly keenly priced. They have a nicely ranged menuThe service was friendly and efficient. I was expecting this to be more expensive than it was but I was pleasantly delighted very nice decor.
Lovely food, nice environment, friendly staff great for breakfast
Really lovely restaurant with a relaxed and informal atmosphere… The Food is really tasty and there is a good selection on the menu.. we went twice on our trip to Windsor with our 2 little boys , they loved it too !! The Staff and service was excellent on both occasions, I would highly recommend it to anyone
The atmosphere in Bills Windsor is lovely, the staff are accommodative especially Alfie who was charismatic and really helpful! A 10/10 visit. Brill ❤️
Had a meal here yesterday came up from Portsmouth went to pay our respects to our dear Queen. all the staff are lovely and very helpful considering it was really busy the food came out fast and hot thank you bills if ever i am up that way again will definitely visit
Had a fabulous birthday brunch at Bills in Windsor on 10/9/2022. Food was delicious & the waitress serving a party of 6 was very professional & helpful.
Maybe we fell on a bad day but then lets face it, I didnt like the restaurant at all. Everything was cold, grilled, or undercooked. Yet I really like bills restaurants but this one was really not great and the waiters took it easy, several times we had to get up to ask for water, to ask for sauces, I thought they werent at all professional yet the they were nice and smiled a lot but thats it. Not all bills are created equal.
Nice full breakfast, delivered quickly and with excellent, attentive service on a busy Saturday morning
Every member of staff is very polite and the menu has a very good selection.
Nice afternoon brunch whilst in Windsor last week. The burger, was nice and juicy, even though well done.My dad really enjoyed the brunch. Eggs, bacon, black pudding, and loads more...Nice environment, and family friendly.
Excellent evening they had an extensive menu. I would recommend the seafood linguine. Plus I had the chocolate flower pot with edible soil ten out of ten for the quality of food plus staff very friendly will go back
The food was wonderful and the presentation was very nice. The deserts were especially good. Would have gotten 5 stars if not for the service which was lacking.Bills has both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside.
Great service Kasia is a wonderful person, she advised us a very good dinner and a delicious dessert. It was obvious that I respect my guests and I do my job perfectly. We will visit your restaurant again soon, thank you 👍🥰🌹Good luck 🍀
Very good restaurant! The food was perfect! And the staff was very kind! See you soon Bills Windsor!! 😊
I have order the garden plate. It was so delicious. The customer service was so friendly and cooperative.
Me and my boyfriend had a dinner date here, the food was delicious, but the service wasnt as good
Food was really tasty and staff super friendly. Will come back to bills for sure. We had an amazing lunch ordering the set up menu. Good food-value.
Had a very enjoyable meal service was 10 out of 10 food lived up to expectations any issues were dealt with promptly and special shout out to our server Kasia who went above and beyond
Perfect food banging service can’t fault the place at all. Helpful waiters with good banter that are actually good at there job, feel bad I didn’t get the name. The bill was a bit steep but can’t fault that guess the clues in the name?
So disappointing :( don’t want to sound like a cow but here we go;Been to Bills in Farnham and had a lovely time so thought this would be a lovely lunch…nope.-No air conditioning in 32 degree heat, it was cooler outside.-I was made to work out the bill for our food ‘’I do the food, you do the math’’.-My sister was given the wrong dish, normally I would say but we were so hot we just ate what we were given because we really wanted to leave.-Too hot to enjoy almost unsafe. Staff were inattentive and took ages to bring the bill while we sweated in our seats when I was then asked to calculate the price of our food. Such a shame.
Probably a very nice restaurant, but impossible to find and no one answers the phone. Tried to do the right thing and cancel the booking but you have to download an app to amend a booking. What a joke!
Bills has become my go-to restaurant after endurance events. Hearty, flavoursome food served quickly, in good-sized portions and well-priced. They usually have availability to book and were able to seat us outside last minute, as well as accept dogs. Had the brunch sandwich (grilled chicken, avo, tomato & garlic mayowith sweet potato fries - delish.
On both occasions I have visited I have enjoyed the food and service.Breakfast was great, where I ordered Eggs Benedict and had very prompt service and delivery of food .Lunch was also fantastic and there is friendly staff who strike up good conversations and make customers feel welcomed.Prices are reasonable as well considering it is a prime location.
One of the best restaurants in Windsor with best juices and smoothies. The food is very delicious, but the vegetarian menu is limited. Their halloumi fries are the best. If you are a vegan, they have dirty vegan burger is a must try. The Immunity Smoothie is my personal favourite 🤩 .
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Lovely food. Relaxed atmosphere. Nice little gem if youre stopping at the train station, quite unexpected to have somewhere quite so nice inside a station.
Great location but not so great service. We were asked to sit outside in the cold despite finding several empty tables inside because apparently they were all “reserved”. When we asked for the heater next to our table to be turned on they did come and do it, however. We found a strand of hair in the milk we got with our tea and when we mentioned it to the staff we were simply told we’d get another one without even an apology.
Went for last minute brunch with my sister on a Sunday, it was super busy but the lady at the door was very friendly/welcoming and got us a seated quickly. The service was friendly and very efficient baring in mind it was completely full, it felt like the staff enjoyed their job and were well staffed. The food and drinks arrived quickly, we had the halloumi and avocado burger - it was delicious! Looking forward to visiting again!
Really enjoyed our evening meal at Bill’s. You know you’re in safe hands when a green salad delights, and a perfect accompaniment to a great Macaroni cheese.Friendly staff despite being busy. Two good gluten free, vegetarian options and they were happy to customise meals or cocktails where they could. All in all the best place of the four we tried over the weekend in Windsor.
Very nice location, its inside the Royal Windsor railway station building. The restaurant is fairly big and also had some outdoor seating. Staff were pleasant and food was served in a timely manner.I had the new plant plate from their breakfast menu, generally it was fine but not sure Id have it again. There new scrambled oggs are interesting but would prefer if they added Himalayan salt to it, to make it taste more eggy. The bacon/sausages were good and lots of yummy veg. They dont serve vegan spread (margarinewith their toast, which is disappointing. The nduja ketchup, is essentially spicy thick ketchup but was a nice addition.
Distinctly average meal, mediocre in every way. I understand that it is a difficult time at the moment for restaurants, but really?Loads of stuff on the menu was not available, they had run out of drinks including orange juice! Surely you could nip down to the co-op and grab a couple off bottles if your were getting low?One of our party has an egg allergy, virtuality everything on the menu is listed as contains egg. When asked if they could confirm, they said they Google it on the website. Only a couple off options available. These chains no longer seem to have chefs but rather it seems that they have food warmer uppers!I like to think that the staff in any restaurant should know the menu, know the ingredients used etc. and be able to advise appropriately. Rose tinted specs maybe? My preferred dish was not available so plumped for a burger, this turned up as burger in a bun with a couple of lettuce leaves. No sauces, over salted chips and nothing else. Was dry and rather tasteless.Parts of the groups orders were missed and spine never arrived at the table, albeit they were still on the bill! The waiting staff were nice enough, but seemed rushed, even though not that busy!I dont think that this restaurant is well managed, and the food quality was very average for the prices charged.Wont be rushing back!
Bill’s came up as a recommendation from a Google search for ‘5 best breakfasts in Windsor’. The four others were not worthy of such a claim, but Bill’s is the clear winner. The brunch and the pancakes were fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful and we highly suggest you come eat here.
Went to Bills. Staff were really friendly. Food was amazing.
Lovely venue in the GWR railway station, superb selection 8f food, thouroghly enjoyed the platter for 2, with amazing chicken skewers for lunch. Relaxed and pleasant.
We visited first time after lock and even though the waitress were super friendly the food wasnt. We ordered starters and kids food and requested to have the kids food at the same time as starters. The starters cane, the kids food didnt. We asked several times for the kids food but nobody could tell us anything, I mean, it was only Mac n cheese!Seconds took ages to arrive, all tables around us were served first even though they arrived after. When food arrived, the Mac n cheese wasnt good, the kids taste it and left it there. My second was coldNot a good experience and certainly not even one apology from management.Pity.
Overall decent restaurant and good food. Some improvement can be done with the services. Long waiting times post order placing during this off-peak covid season was not expected.
We came here for lunch as a group of 8 for my partners nans birthday and had a really great experience. The staff really made her feel special and gave us a bottle of Prosecco on the house to celebrate, which was a really nice touch. The food all arrived quite quickly and everyone enjoyed their meals. The current vegan menu is great with plenty of options due to Veganuary. I went for the vegan Wellington, which was lovely, though they were sadly all out of the beetroot steak which I really wanted to try. I wish Id had room for dessert as the sticky chocolate pudding sounds amazing, but maybe next time!
Every bite was scrumptious with big servings and wonderful service. The restaurant located inside the mall was decorated very nicely. They even had fresh juices or smoothies.
Burgers werent the best burgers we have eaten. But we had no choice, ordered the chicken and the member of staff said she would check, she came back and said they had one left. So we ordered it, once processed, she came back to us and told us they dont have any chicken left. So we had to just order any burger because that all they had. They didnt have any black current juice for the snakebite. Basically everything we asked for, they didnt have.Should have gone GBK for better burgers!Salt and pepper shakers where sticky and really put me off.
Incredible place for brunch, with the most delicious pancakes! Make sure you request more maple syrup (trust me, you’ll need it in the end). You can have some of your food to go if you feel like you can’t finish it all up - the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, so you’ll always have someone at hand to help you with whatever you need. May I say, this is a key highlight of Windsor!
We turned up on a Saturday evening and had a warm welcome, asked for a table for 2 and within a few minutes we were seated . We had great service and excellent food. The restaurant has a nice warm cosy feel with plenty of seating, also there is seating outside the front if the restaurant. We have been to other Bills restaurants before and also had great service.
Great food and great service. Went here before heading to Heathrow but have been here a few times for breakfast. Im gluten free but they have a separate menu and dont batter an eye lid at dietary requirements and they make sure everything is fine. Would recommend.
We love Bills for weekend brunch! Their vegan options always improving and the staff is super friendly no matter where in the country. Thank you!
Nice decor and setting. Lovely meal worth the wait in the end. Burger was delish, nice tasty outer crust. Easy mac and cheese. With sides.
Excellent food, very down home feel, decent prices. Win!
