Bill's Richmond Restaurant in Sembe

My wife and I had our anniversary meal here and we werent disappointed. The food was delicious and in reasonable portions. I partook of the chicken burger, which had a couple of chicken breasts which were done really well. Both the brownie and the apple pie sundae are to be recommended. The serving staff were friendly and efficient and the establishment clean and well kept. It wasnt a cheap meal, but worth it for a treat. The only real downside was that the background music was a tad bit too loud for my hearing and tended to be rather repetitive at times.Overall, a great dining experience which I would recommend.

The burger was amazing ! It took a while to get to me but I my price was reduced because of this so I left extremely happy. The manager Neli was so polite and respectful and understood our reasoning and didn’t hesitate to solve the problem. What an amazing manager !

Naturally standard Bills food. Its alright for the price with a lot of salt and pepper. Staff are nice and friendly.The venue is poor however. It has terrible acoustics - they did not consider the acoustics during fit out, and made some very poor design choices using a one size fits all approach. On a Sunday at 9.15am one small group of adults made the entire restaurant uncomfortably loud. I literalpy could not hear the person opposite.Lots and lots of awfully located tables where you are boxed in with your head at an angle.Basically its a chain that only cares about one thing. Nothing new and adds very little.

Hi we were served by a gentleman call antonio today brilliant service and a very caring gentleman . Also a young girl who I think was training was very good as well bought us our hot drinks .

I would suggest to avoid ordering coctails. The Aperol Spritz was so watery that doesnt tasted like Aperol at all. The staff was super nice when we mentioned it, and made us a new one but it tasted and looked (no colourexactly the same, like flat soda water. Im sorry to say but it was undrinkable, so the restaurant should either teach their bartenders how to make it properly or take it off the menu.Food was okay but nothing special.

A staple to us now. Go at least once a month!Always good food, friendly staff and good value.Plus theyre dog friendly!Only slight let down (but isnt their faultis sometimes the amount of kids there.. can sometimes feel like a crèche! But staff are always so good at placing couples/singles as far as way as possible.

Kasia definitely brought some spice to my evening! Very bubbly and was going above and beyond to make sure my first trip to the uk was remembered… Wish she was able to help the kitchen…my client and I ordered medium rare steak.. showed up almost well done and rubbery..I asked for it to be replaced and it was pretty much breathing… blue steak in my opinion. Apart from this.. great environment. Ask for Kasia when you visit! Don’t order the steak 😅

Enjoyable family meal to celebrate daughter’s birthday. Good service and food made even better by daughter’s unidays 20% discount. ‘Large’ calamari starter wasn’t generous. Mains much better - tasty lobster linguine, nice classic burger. Chicken shawarma was nice though chicken a bit dry. Pink lemonade served nicely with frozen raspberries amongst ice. Would definitely consider returning and trying set menus

The ambiance was lovely and warm and the food was amazing. I ordered the buttermilk chicken burger and it was succulent and the perfect size portion with delicious rosemary fries.My partner is vegan and we found plenty of options, she had the dirty vegan burger and was blown away, her favourite spot now for burgers in Richmond.The staff were exceptional and very attentive, especially since the person who served us had only been working there for two weeks! Lovely people and great food

Bills never disappoints , you know what you get ! Excellent and cosy brunch in Richmond . Our halloumi was so tasty and the pita was just yummy. Price aligned to London standards .

The staff were the bees knees, friendly, attentive, and smiling.The food was goodBut the -1* came from how slow the drinks came. we went on a Friday night so I understand how busy they were, but the drinks sat on the counter top for about 5minutes waiting to be served.The decor was nice, got meatball and white calamari started with smoothie. Very bad service, manager doesnt care about customer service, very poor service, they did a mistake,didnt send my food, I had to wait another half of hour after my family received they food, they finished they meel and I still had to wait. Even he didnt came to say sorry, or anything, he just came to clean the table and hasnt ask at least if was ok. Very bad experience

Loved it. Classy looking restaurant and varied seating. Nice breakfast menu. Coffee was excellent and wife had the Earl Grey tea and said it was one the best Earl Greys she had had. Service was excellent and quick. It was very busy (Saturday morningand we were lucky that they could fit us in. Would definitely recommend.

Bills was great staff friendly. I like that they asked about allergies. The restaurant was lovely. We hade the lamb with mint pea flavours where fantastic. Perfect for a hot summer evening, price was very good definitely go back again.

Turned up unannounced on a Saturday afternoon in a party of 12. Not feeling too optimistic because we hadn’t booked, was seated with no fuss, service was superb and food even better. Will definitely be back. Thanks for an enjoyable first visit.

Great layout and Decor, friendly and very professional staff. Been here twice for brunch and also had the set menu which is of great quality and value. Definitely recommend the warm cinnamon donuts and for drinks the Banana Colada was absolutely spot on!

Went with my parents a few weeks back for breakfast, it wasnt particularly busy. One of us ordered Bills Big Brunch, just as we started we realised there was no black pudding as advertised. I checked with the server that we had ordered the Big Brunch and she said yes, I then asked about the missing black pudding.After shed asked the kitchen, she came back to tell me, not particularly apologetically, that they had ran out that morning and was waiting for delivery then started walking off (?!I asked her what they normally do to compensate, she stuttered and was like er I can give you extra beans or tomatoes, I said no we dont want extra beans or tomatoes and she just walked off.Issues I have are:1No effort was made to inform there was something missing, and when it was brought up, the server was dismissive at best2I dont think beans or tomatoes is a satisfactory replacement for a meat product3I declined the offer of the lacklustre replacement and she made no effort to compensate for the restaurants oversight, dont even think we got a half-hearted sorry. I ended up paying full price (and service chargefor this privilegeNot impressed at all, will not be back.

Good menu with plenty of choice for different tastes but nothing particularly adventurous, which is actually quite good for larger family groups and/or young children. Interesting, eclectic decor and perfectly friendly and attentive staff. For some reason though, its just not quite right. Not sure whether its corporate micromanagement or what, but I just dont leave thinking Im looking forward to returning. Dont get me wrong, if you are looking for dinner for four in the £25/head region (including a drink), you cant go far wrong and wont be disappointed, but it probably wont make your top 10 either.

Dined in and had the hippy bowl and shared the burrata starter, was really tasty. Friendly and quick service. Also had the doughnuts with a coffee, doughnuts were delish! Pleased they could accommodate a walk in on a busy sunny afternoon 😊

I went here for my 40th birthday. A lovely restaurant, gold tinted ambient lighting, tastefully decorated. Polite and friendly staff. The food was gorgeous and reasonably priced. The atmosphere lively, but not too intrusive. This was my fourth visit to Bills over the last few years and its standards have not slipped.

Its OK. The menu looks good on paper but its bland at best. Service was a bit hectic and it felt like we were being ordered to order - not how I imagine it to be. It could be due to staff shortages and the staff were generally nice but felt they were rushed off their feet. The food was reasonable, Bills bear not really doing much - it was like the food itself - read promising but a bit flat. I tried the Sirloin steak and it was OK - not seasoned well at all and I could say the same for the fries. My niece loves the place but shes only 14, so easy to please. 3 stars seems fair for a place with a decent quality product but nothing special at all.

Just went to celebrate Pancakes day and even if the pancakes were good the best thing was Laila…what joy! She gave us a great service and so early in the morning. Laila if you are reading this you are incredible! Thank you!The restaurant is really nice and the pancakes yummy, the orange juice is not the greatest that’s why I’m not giving the 5 stars. Me and my partner were at Bill’s for a quick lunch a week ago. Friendly staff and atmosphere, Antonio was very helpful and attentive since the beginning till the end.Reasonable price with honest portion. We really enjoyed it, it is one of my favourite Bills which I am happy to be back again & again.

I have been to Bills three times and cannot wait to return. The atmosphere and decor are perfect for both special occasions and more relaxed socials.I would highly recommend the halloumi fries to start (although my brother would say the calamari is best). The rosemary fries are divine and a great side.The staff are lovely and attentive. The only time I’ve experienced a delay is Christmas Eve, which was to be expected. The food is reasonably priced for the quality.I would highly recommend Bills to any one looking for a lovely place to eat.

Good food and atmosphere at a riverside location. Not as much choice on the menu as I expected, but what I ordered was tasty and light.

Breakfast was very delicious, best Full English I had in a long time. Decor is very upmarket, customer service is friendly and efficient. Will be back again, can’t recommend this place enough.

The decorations, atmosphere and space inside the restaurant was lovely. Friendly staff, and food was good. Not a lot of choices if meat is not your fancy. Only complaint was the lingering smell of damp in the establishment; even more noticeable in the basement in the bathrooms

Lovely meal out and fantastic service. The manager was amazing at sorting out what we could have with my allergies. It shows how well they know their food and they do take care for allergies. I liked their little allergy stick they use to mark your food. Really enjoyed the food. The sea bass was delicious.Really liked the relaxed setting and lighting too.

Such a chic place to go for a dinner… It was my first time going to this restaurant the other day and I really enjoyed the food, ambiance and the great service they provided. I would highly recommend it! Tip: try brownie for dessert! Mmmmm

Good location on the high street. Tables at the back of the restaurant have River views. There are some high tables, didnt look as comfortable, these were by the bar with stalls. I have been to Bills in different places, and they all have the same vibe, industrial and quirky. Great food and wonderful service.

Staffs were extremely friendly and welcoming. love the cocktail discounts, calamari was really crispy on the outside but super tender inside. However food was just so so but overall a good experience.

My sea bass main was delicious and the cocktails were great. I ordered the Eton mess for dessert but mistakenly got the lemon meringue dessert. I didnt mind as it was my 2nd choice but it was slightly too dense for my liking. Staff were attentive and steps were taken to make all feel safe

Can not fault them on anything. The whole experience was amazing.The hostess is fantastic, very friendly and professional. Food was absolutely delicious. We had the steak, the chicken and the chicken dumplings. All of them cooked to perfection and arrived promptly. In addition, all very reasonably priced.All the staff was very polite and attentive. Would definitely recommend it.

Good brunch option in Richmond.The location is very convenient and is good views to the riverside (few tables). The staff was very helpful and friendly so we had a very good experience. The coffee and the food was good, especially the eggs plates.The atmosphere is nice and they care about it so, good option out you are around

Liked the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. Have been a few times and the service can be quite slow (they are often busy). Generally the food was better than the cocktails which were a bit lacklustre. Overall a good experience

We didnt plan where to go for breakfast, but when I saw that in Richmond there is a Bills I straight went in! Its (wasmy fiancè birthday and I wanted to treat him with a delicious breakfast. I got eggs royal (photoand he got Bills brunch! We had a lovely time even if was really busy the staff was friendly and helpful. The only surprise was the service (12.5%add to the bill but I was going to leave tip anyway! Definitely going back.
