I got food poisoning here last week and ended up being extremely sick. I sent an email to Bills customer service and called the restaurant directly and spoke to the manager but no one ever got back to me, not even an acknowledgement to my email. Avoid.

I had an hour to kill. I asked for breakfast tea . The server was cheerful and attentive as I told them what my allergies were. She was helpful in crafting a meal that met my parameters based on their standard meals . She offered to speak to the chef.It was delightful when it came . Salmon and scrambled eggs on a gluten free muffin washed down with English breakfast tea and oat milk. I love the ambiance- the eclectic decor .

Food was dry,burnt tasteless and the service was even worse. I arrived sat down even asked for my own water on a hot day. Another man and his kids walked in they got given water and crayons and papers for kids without asking. I had two 4 year olds with me didnt get that treatment my kids looked upset they didnt get crayons and paper then Ran out of napkins and water and wasnt offered more. Just paid and they had the cheek to put service charge down. I paid and left .Wont return again

We had breakfast and everything we had was so good, we went the next day again. The prices are reasonable and the servings are a good size. The service was also good. I recommend this place for a delicious and satisfying breakfast.

I decided to take myself out for lunch and BILLS WAS THE PERFECT PLACE. I explained my dietary needs and that I only had 50 mins to eat, waiter recommended a set meal making a few minor adjustments to fit my diet and it was cooked perfectly.Planning to go back there with a few gal pals next week.

Came here for a quick bite to eat and I loved it! My mum had the poached eggs on avocado toast and they were cooked to perfection. Mine was the Chicken Swarma!

Food is great. Staff are welcoming and give great customer service. Decor is nice. Well worth the visit.

Food was delicious, especially the lobster linguine. Only 4 stars because the waitress got the drinks wrong 3 times.Luckily we did not kick up a fuss about it, but perhaps more training is needed.

We like their breakfast. However some jam can be added to plate, otherwise so much bread not enough extras.

Staff very pleasant and accommodating. Ordered from the Jubilee menu, Cod save the Queen which was fish goujons in a bun with rosmary fries. Well presented and very nice.

Really disappointing visit here as every other Bills visit at different venues has been spot on. The food was average but the service was dreadful - once our order had been taken we didnt have contact with anyone again!! I asked for ketchup as no-one asked if we wanted any sauces when they dropped the food, and the lady was very pleasant; but we waited a good while for our plates to be cleared, and we were going to have dessert but as no-one asked if wed like to see a dessert menu and no-one was in the vicinity to ask, we gave up and went to Creams down the road which was wonderful! Just because theres a shift change, thats no excuse to abandon your paying customers. We could have walked out and no-one would have noticed!!

Normally I enjoy the food but the bread was 2 hard and the bacon I didnt much like but the staff was very attentive

I came here for birthday morning breakfast, they seated us quickly and the food is consistently excellent. I always love the decor:quirky plates and plants everywhere! Order your coffees first because the queue gets quite long, well worth the wait.

Had a lovely breakfast with my husband this morning, staff polite and served with a smile and good attitude. Breakfast was delicious especially the scrambled eggs teased with chives. Felt comfortable and breakfast was delivered in good time will definitely recommend to visit. 🥰

Lovely little place! Very nicely decorated, plenty of tables although booking in advance is a must...service was efficient and friendly and the food was very tasty. I had the Mediterranean breakfast and my husband had the full English. Both of us were full for the entire day (we missed both lunch and dinner as breakfast was satisfyingly filling!). Smoothies were very tasty and overall reasonably priced food for the quality.

went here for pancake day. the pancakes themselves tasted great although they cooled down very quickly. was a little upset at the absence of vegan pancake options despite having been told otherwise on social media before making a booking. please consider vegan options in the future!

My waitress, Charlotte, was fabulous. She was a star from the second we walked into the restaurant, with such great charisma, friendliness and attentiveness. The most lovely experience from service to food - I will be back again soon.

Bills is nothing but consistent no matter the restaurant it seems. Delicious, fast service and a good range of choices. What more can you want. I wouldnt say the choices are overly special but I would also say they are very good.Whats more is the restaurant does a 2 courses for 13.95 offer Monday to Thursday so what was really lovely food became very cheep. They also offer student discount in addition to this via unidays at about 20%.

I visited the Putney Bills on Friday evening just for drinks.It has a lovely atmosphere, greatly decorated and provides amazing service. They have a very appealing drinks menu. You can relax, talk and be treated.We had a great time, and I certainly want to visit it again to have a meal.

Ive been going to Bills in Putney for a few years now and Ive consistently had a lovely time there. The service is very attentive and the choice of food is good and quality is high. They are very helpful to patrons in wheelchairs and dog owners (I am in these categories).Id particularly single out Muddy who served us in November 2021. He was excellent; helpful, friendly and funny.I definitely recommend a visit!

My partner and I came here to celebrate our anniversary, I want to give this more stars if it wasnt for the fact my partner got food poisoning (Salmonellafrom eating the Starters - Tuna Tacos shortly after.The kitchen needs to up their game on ensuring raw meats and seafood is high-grade and health inspectors need to properly inspect the kitchen hygiene.Positives were the service was great! Shout out to our server Charlotte who was personable, friendly and topping our anniversary with a treat!

Came back to Bills for a second visit (last time was 3 years agoand had breakfast with a friend. Very disappointing experience. Service was alright/good but the banana milkshake had frozen banana pieces still in it (and didnt taste very much anyway...). And although the Egg Benedict certainly looked good the eggs were overboiled and not what youd expect it to be.Might give them another chance (as my first experience here was goodbut at the moment Im not impressed!

My sister and I had brunch here and it was an amazing experience. The service was outstanding and I thoroughly enjoyed my food which was Vegan! I was trying it to explore new flavors and they do not disappoint! It was clean, they followed covid protocols, but most importantly - good food! My London visit was all the more enjoyable because of their exceptional customer service! Thank you!

Bills had changed the interior completly, i really like it! Green and cozy, what would you need more? Christmas Turkey Curry included three small pieces of meat and loads of veggies. Food was delish, but not the best of Bill’s.First time i tried Espresso Martini and i loved it!

Terrific menu, lots of vegetarian options; so good at dinner, that I came back for breakfast before flying back to Canada.

I ordered a medium rare ribeye with sweet potato fries and Bearnaise sauce. Got an overcooked steak, with split non-distinct sauce and normal fries tasting like the bottom of a freezer. Literally would have had better food from McDonald’s for ¼ of the price. Avoid.

Really tasteful breakfast. There is also a vegetarian alternative with hallumi. They make also pressed juice and they taste good. Pudding was excellent but scramble eggs are ok. I would recommend the bills breakfast.

Place is cosy, clean and the food is great. The prices are very reasonable and the burgers were very tasty with the service being quite helpful and polite. The view from the window looking at the main road is great, if you like such views, but you can stay in other tables that are a bit more "private".

I went there for brunch. Plenty of options in the menu for breakfast served until 1pm. Very good prices. Service was quick. Plates were well presented and tasty. All the staff was attentive, nice and friendly. 5 stars for Linda from Naples that served us. Everything was great! Definitely will come back more often.

Can’t really recommend this branch of Bills unfortunately.I ate in Bills in Victoria a couple of weeks back and really enjoyed their fish pie. So was in the Putney area and decided to go back for another. The pie was cool on one side and piping hot on the other. That didn’t put me off too much (the fish was cookedbut right at the end I found a hair in it. Of course these things happen but was very off putting after if eaten most of it.Had a side of broccoli which I really recommend.Service was a bit slow too (it wasn’t busyhad to wait a while for the bill and to pay. But food came out reasonably quickly. Service was friendly despite the relaxed and slow approach.Probably wouldn’t go back.

Went here to try a more festive meal and was filling but felt like an elevated school dinner with the choices, presentation and taste. For the price it is worth it and the atmosphere and service was great.

Interior design is very cosy and homely. Lots of seating. Staff are friendly but slow and forgetful.It took ages for the waiters to serve us, drinks came after 10 mins, food came after 25 mins even though the restaurant had only 2 groups of people dining and wasnt busy at all. We had to remind waiters an hour later than we were still waiting for some dishes to come.Food was nice but plain, friends complained that the burger was very dry but tasty. As a person allergic to eggs and nuts and eats only halal food, it was quite hard for me to choose something off the menu. I ended up getting the kids meal as it was the only thing that matched my requirements, but it was tasty and filling nonetheless. I think even for a child the starter and dessert would be small, although I cant really complain at £6.95 for three courses. For the burger there was a option for medium or well-done meat. The fries are such a tiny tiny portion for £3.50, literally just a handful. Watermelonerry virgin cocktail was amazing. Probably a very good place if you drink, very large variety.An automatic service charge/tip of 12.5% is added to the bill, which we all opted out of. Also received 20% UNiDAYS student discount. H

I love Bills: superb food, amazing environment, kind and polite service. Every time we come for a breakfast or lunch, it feels like visiting old good friend.

Lovely staff but terrible food and drink. milkshake was like a glass of milk covered in cheap whipped cream. Ordered the brownie one but had zero brownie or ice cream. I told them it wasnt nice but they charged for it still. I got a cappuccino after and that was watery. For my meal I got the eggs supreme which had cold bread and old looking salmon. It was my first Bills visit and my last.
