Contemporary European chain dishing up separate breakfast, afternoon tea, lunch and dinner menus.
I loved the food and drinksHowever, we booked in advance for our xmas do and no one told us about the massive tip they took when we paid the bill, wed already tipped our waiter so were quite shocked by thisWill not he returning
Great food grandchildren love the pancakes only 1 thing my younger grandson likes choc on his pancakes he wouldnt eat without it would be better if this option was available
Excellent service, great atmosphere, food not so good. Options for vegetarian and gluten free eaters. I enjoyed any way. Thanks guys, pleasant service in dead 👍
My partner took me here for my birthday Sunday, staff were lovely, food was beautiful and not overly expensive, decor was rustic but lovely, never been in here before but was really nice, will definitely go back again!
Descent restaurant with tasty food and friendly staff. Very good vegeterian options as well.
Good food , nice employees! A pleasure to be in
Food was good, as was service but not a fan of the decor. No ceiling, ducting all exposed, its as if they cant be bothered to finish it. That makes me wonder about food.
It was a bit overpriced for what it was, which was a bit disappointing. It was just an average burger. I have eaten in Bills before, but at breakfast so I thought I would try it at lunch time - the breakfasts are much better and fill you up ready for the day ahead. There is a lot of choice too - you can have a smaller breakfast, or go full out and have a full English-style breakfast. I will have to try this Bills in the morning, as Ive only tried the Westfield one before.
A breakfast to remember!Great food. Coffee was not excellent but not bad either.Love the ambience.Service needs little improvement...they need to visit the customer tables a little more often.Overall lovely place.
Bills here was lovely. They have very attentive staff. Our youngest had an issue with the sauce on the pasta, which the waitress picked up on and had sn alternative with us inside 5 minutes. Our food was fantastic, and the wine perfect. One thing Bills can work on - serving draught beer has nothing to do with restaurant size, everything to do with what your customers want to drink.
Really lovely food and service today. Would love to see the service charge going directly to the waiting staff (and the kitchen team!). Super accommodating servers who were friendly and helpful.
This is what you call a 30£ breakfast. No cutlery, you can enjoy it with your fingers. Raw sausages, watery mushrooms, cold eggs. Long wait. Not worth it.
Good decor, very attentive staff but I cant help feeling that its very expensive for a breakfast. Its definitely good quality produce over quantity I understand but £12/£15 a head for a classy fry-up when the local spoons down the road can provide its for less then £7 (half price with a drink makes it too much. Good but not great food for the cost.
First time to a Bills establishment yesterday with my wife and 2 kids for a lunchtime pre-theatre visit. Overall, a good experience. I had the Glow Bowl (if you are GF and veggie check it out- Was really nice, tasty and value for money. Wife had the Fish Finger sandwich - she said it was good. Halloumi sticks and fries for 13 y/o daughter - she was impressed, and youngest (9had sausage, mash and peas, gravy / chocolate brownie (oh, and carrot sticks with hummus starterand a drink from the kids menu (value for money I thought). With coffees and drinks for all, came to around £50 plus tip. Fair to middle on the cost, quick service, nice environment, friendly staff. Yes, its a chain, dont expect the world. Good for what it is and I would return based on yesterdays experience.
Ive been to Bills in Blue Water and in Welwyn Garden City, but I have to say I was very disappointed with the food here. Firstly they didnt have the food I ordered - this has being the Carrot, Mushroom and Sweet Potato Wellington, so I had to pick something else, so went for the Half Chicken with Chips. When it arrived, I couldnt believe the state of the chicken..it should have been fattened up before they slaughtered it, it was just bone, so again I picked the Buttermilk Chicken Burger which wasnt too bad but the chips were hard in some places. So the next time I visit Peterborough, Im giving Bills a wide berth....
I used to love Bills...sadly I felt the brand has let itself go a bit. Food was a bit average, the halloumi sticks tasted like theyd been deep fried in fish batter and my mac n cheese was a bit lack luster. The staff were very helpful, some would say a bit too helpful and they did serve us the wrong food first time round. It wasnt even that busy. Two of our party asked for shandy and the waiter said he could make any beer a shandy...when it arrived, he placed on the table a bottle of lager a bottle of lemonade and a glass...which they had to pour themselves. Not sure Ill be heading back anytime soon.
Good food, chicken dumpling starter was recommend by the waiter and was really tasty, with 5 or 6 good sized portions. Had a spiced burger kebab which was a special for main and this was also really good. Waiter was great, very friendly and had some good banter. Service was quick, too quick for my liking, didnt feel rushed but I only had 1 bottle of beer during 2 courses and Im a pretty quick drinker. Could of done with at least another 30 mins of table time. Would certainly go back though.
Food is always good, service prompt and side salads have dressings! Which is always necessary.
Amazing breakfast. Ive got eyes bigger than my belly as ordered 5 stack pancakes, 3 would have been ideal but I ate the whole thing as it was so fluffy and fruit was fresh and juicy. My partners was nice too, cheekily got to try some. His scrambled eggs were goooooood and to him Im queen of cooking eggs. Really nice overall.
We decided to stop by for breakfast today. A very warm welcome from the staff and service was very good all the way through. They didnt have any rosti potato left but were happy to replace with anything. We had chips instead. Food was nice although mushrooms were cold. At £12+ for a breakfast it was quite expensive hence four stars instead of five.
Fantastic place to eat at. Food was lovely as to were the cocktails. Loved the fact that they were very good at asking if anyone had allergies so they were able to check they didnt eat anything they shouldnt.
Visited Peterborough on business one Saturday and decided to treat myself to breakfast. Popped into Bills, the service from the word go was exemplary and should be modeled by all local restaurants. The foods was also superb. Atmosphere was relaxed and enabled me to read a paper in quality time over a decent cuppa. I will be bringing the family back to Bills at a later date. 😀😀😀👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
First time trying Bills and we werent disappointed. Food was lovely and the drinks were nice. All cooked really well and there was no rush to leave even though we were the only people in there by the end. We were looked after while not being bothered too much to see if we were OK. Thanks for a great night.
Well done Sirloin and Peach with fresh mint ice tea. To me this steak been to hard to cut and chew.
A lovely relaxed breakfast with attentive staff and delicious food. A great tasting coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and the best poached eggs I’ve had in a long while! Cooked to perfection
Even though part of a chain, the service is exceptional, as is the food, relaxed atmosphere, good decor and music.
Lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff and the ribs were to die for. Would definitely recommend.
Chain restaurants generally tend to be ok but nothing special but I have to admit I was really impressed with the food here. The calamari starter and buttermilk chicken burger were really delicious and cooked just right. Service was also super friendly and prompt. Would definitely try Bills again.
As always amazing food & excellent service.A lovely quiet night out & good food the best combination
Great friendly atmosphere, from the moment you walk through the door, you feel that they want your business.Despite being a Saturday night and not having a reservation, they managed to find us a booth. All the food was delicious, we had pate, dumplings, halloumi and calamari as a starter and as they had run out of sausages, they included an extra complimentary dish of dumplings. For mains we had the chicken skewers, sea bass, the ribs-which were to die for and the Bills burger which was 100% beef.Everything was excellent and reasonably priced and the service was attentive throughout and although Manuela was our server every member of staff interacted with you throughout the evening. Really glad we walked a bit further to find this place. For those of you looking for it, the easiest way is to come out the main cathedral gates and its on the left !
Always love a Bills breakfast/brunch for a good price. The staff are very friendly and the service is always good.
Visited early one Sunday with my mother for breakfast. Had wonderful and quick service by friendly and attentive staff with a really wonderful meal. Would recommend their Eggs Benedict if youre stopping for brunch!
Good service and food, throughly enjoyed evening. Thank you
An absolute awesome experience, I left the restaurant feeling like royalty. All of the staff were so friendly and attentive, it really was an amazing experience. On top of that the food was delicious. The Christmas burger was probably the best burger I have ever eaten. If other restaurants took only a small percent of whats on offer at Bills then they would be improving their service massively.
Excellent breakfast, had the Veggie garden breakfast it was amazing.
The food is absolutely fantastic as well as the staff and atmosphere. Cant recommend enough for a nice meal out :)
They say that food is awesome but I also want to tell that staff is Amazing. Especially Milos and Ignas. We got lot of help from them when booking and during the visit. Great food and great atmosphere. Obe of the best places in town.
Not great breakfast for the price, had to send eggs back, looked like they had been cooked hours before. Just a warning £1.30 gets you 1 small spoon of baked beans!!. Have had breakfast here before and was good, wont be going back, up your game Bill !!!
Lovely food and friendly staff. I would most definitely go back . They have gluten free food too
Service is good. Decoration is great. However the food is not delicious. Theyre fresh and ingredients are quite good quality but the taste and formular of them should be improved a lot. Wont go back for a while.
Great food, lovely place to eat. HOWEVER! - Be careful if you have a very large party. They tried to serve 40-50 meals in one go which we said from the beginning wouldnt work. It didnt, food was coming out cold, overcooked, undercooked. We should have just been served table by table which we were happy to accept. The chefs tried to over deliver.Other than that, great place for a small family meal.
Excellent service, food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Dining area was very clean and our waitress was very helpful. Will definitely come again
Went here for a friends birthday and they were amazing. Party of 20, no problem. Celebrating a birthday, we’ll decorate the table for you - then they go and give her a present too!Service was great. Wide range of food to choose from including breakfast and lunch menus. Fab cocktails, yummy food, reasonably priced and chilled atmosphere.Highly recommend to group gatherings or even for just a coffee ☕️
Went in for late breakfast on Christmas Eve after our last shop! Very busy but such a warm welcome. Service was prompt and food tasty and plenty of it. Thank you. Milo was a communicative waiter and gave very good service.
Had breakfast here before heading home after visiting family in the area. Really enjoyed it & it filled us up for the journey. We had 1 Bills breakfast & 1 avocado & poached eggs on toast with a side of crispy bacon, tea & coffee. Would definitely recomend this particular Bills 👍
Breakfast during a weekend stay for a wedding. Ordered eggs, pancakes and drinks. Food was average to be honest. Pancakes were probably the best dish. Atmosphere not brilliant with tables being sticky and cobwebs around light fixtures. Also not able to get student discount/any offers as was the weekend.
Very cozy place, good food and very good choices. Staff very nice and helpful.
Nice place to spend some time, but food was missing to be perfect and lack of draft beer is a reason of 4 stars only
Really good choice of food and a lovely restaurant with very pleasant staff. Well priced too.
Friendly staff, tasty food and an attractive space. Not exactly radical, but something for everyone and a good vibe. Very welcoming to children, seasonal specials keep the menu fresh. Interesting wine list, some food gifts you could take home.
