Contemporary European chain dishing up separate breakfast, afternoon tea, lunch and dinner menus.
Fabulous atmosphere. Great food .Wine. Reasonable price for varied quality menu. And most importantly super attentive staff. Nothing too much trouble. Had dinner here with my son and his partner. We all really enjoyed our food and had such a lovely evening! Recommended!! Will definitely return.
The lunch special was great value for money. The fish was fresh and delicious
It feels very squashed, with tables squeezed into every conceivable space and we ended up effectively sharing a table with 2 randoms, separated only by a small trellis. Fortunately we had nothing too private to discuss. The pancakes were disappontingly dry and crumbly to the point Id assumed they were 2-3 days old but it turns out that they now make them all gluten free as standard, with no choice offered. Youll need a litre of butter or maple syrup to get them down.
Good food. Need a booking first. A lot of people. There may be a line at the door
Enjoyed the food turned up in a good amount of time and service was 👌
Ordered bottomless brunch. Food was OK however service was too slow for us to truly enjoy the bottomless prosecco (took ages to flag down a waiter for refills). Definitely not worth paying for bottomless brunch.
One star food experience. Another given for the friendly staff.Husband and I decided upon eventually dining here yesterday which was a super busy Saturday lunch time. We were given a 20 minute wait time but were seated within 10 minutes. We were able to order our drinks and meal pretty promptly and upon requesting no mushrooms with my Big Bills Brunch I was offered to swap with something else. So far so good. Then the drinks came. Thought I would be healthy and order the Supergreens juice, a mix of Cucumber, apple, mango, spinach, lime & ginger. Sadly it just tasted of cucumber and spinach only, not even a hint of anything else. Husband said his Tropical juice was very gloopy and not particularly enjoyable. Was looking forward to the mains but they were no better. My Husbands lobster linguine was pretty mediocre I’m told and lacked any decent pieces of lobster. My Brunch looked the part, pretty good sausage to start with and I insisted the Hubby had the extra he made me order in place of the mushrooms. Wish I had kept it! The fried eggs were over done, toast soggy, bacon, dried out and the potato cubes were dry and dehydrated. It suddenly occurred to me it tasted like buffet food which had been left out for too long. Very Disappointing. We had to ask for the bill twice and make them swap out the Scottish £5 note they tried to fob off on us in our change. First time dining here in Greenwich and never again!
Loved everything about this place from the great atmosphere to AMAZING food. I had the cappuccino and eggs Benedict and shared some of my girlfriends pancakes. Both of us agreed it was our best meal of our entire trip to Paris and London. Its busy and theres a reason! Well worth it.
I was really excited to have the bottomless pancake for lunch. The pancakes were dry and cold. There was only some syrup on the top one and the rest had were completely dry. The first serving was 3 and the second 2, so you couldn’t really eat what you wanted? The orders took so long that you couldn’t eat as much as you want in 90 mins. Half of our drinks never arrived until we were eating when we asked again (it was water). I asked for extra syrup to one of the waiters and was completely ignored, until I had to find someone else. The food wasn’t worth it and although they were friendly it doesn’t make up for the service , it wasn’t great and unprofessional. It was like as long as we paid who cares about the rest.
I walked in without reservation during a very busy lunchtime service. The staff have done an absolutely stellar job, there appeared to be only two people on the floor but they have worked very hard. I felt well looked after. My cocktail was very tasty and Lobster Linguine was very good and beautifully presented.Lobster was tender and well cooked. I would personally have liked to have a tad more chilli kick in the sauce, but I am a lover of bold flavours. Will be back though 👌🏼EDIT - have been back several times and I must say that this is my new local favourite ❤️Always tasty and fresh food and wonderful service 🙏🏼
Food was nice and table service was lovely but the person showing us to our table was incredibly rude and nasty to a member of our party who came to join us a few minutes after we were seated. She was very patronising, sarcastic and upsetting, she totally put a dampener on the birthday celebration we were meant to be having. We were later told by another member of staff that this person was the ‘manager’ and they’ve had other complaints about her. Will not be going to any Bill’s restaurant again because of this awful experience at the Greenwich branch. There is no need to be so rude and unprofessional.
Food (and in fact everything about this Billsis fine, nothing more or less - exactly what you pay for. Dont think Ive ever been to a Bills that was ever anything more than solid but unremarkable.Wasnt busy so got seated quickly.
First time at this restaurant and it was a good experience. Food was very filling. The Bbq bourbon burger was big and saucy with the bbq pulled beef on top of the burger. They also do cream tea here so will be back to give that a try. Nice and close to Cutty Sark and the riverside for a walk after. Definitely recommend.
Lovely restaurant. The interior is very homely and the staff were so nice. Good portion sizes, very filling. The food is delicious, nothing ever came cold, it was flavourful and definitely worth the price. Lots of great meals to choose from, the restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere is great in general.
The customer service was really bad, when I walked in they said they didnt have a table for 2, I pointed to a table that was free and the host said they could clean it for us which was nice. However our food was ordered to the wrong table, when my pancakes arrived they were very dry, when I asked for maple syrup (and ketchup for my friendI had to ask 3 different people at multiple times and ended up waiting 20 minutes for the condiments. By then our food was cold and I lost my appetite. Asking for the bill took another 20 minutes and the waitress left without asking for the receipt. I wouldnt advise to visit this branch if youre very hungry and want a fast service, it seemed very disorganized.
Food is righteous, book because it gets busy. The Gin and tonics are massive.
I never knew there was so much to Greenwich. I just booked a hotel for convenience. However, after visiting, I will 100% return. There is a huge amount to visit in Greenwich, plenty of places to eat from Breakfast lunch and Dinner. If youre after a great place, convenient, well priced, beautifully decorated with little to none wait time, then this is the place for you. Absolutely beautiful inside with its quirky décor matched with modern very well. The service was phenomenal, they met our needs down to a T. One of our family members has lots of allergies and Bills accommodated in every way, and the result, the food was amazing! Thank you for the food, Thank you for the experience, Thank you for the service and Thank you for the privilege.
So, the place is nice for couples and also for family, food nothing special but is fine. Basically, the manager took our order and forget to put them through the till, so we been waiting 34 minutes for a drinks and 1 hour for the food, which it could be fine because they also apologizes but we expect at least a small discount and the bill was expensive too for what we get, they took out the broccoli from the bill which was raw and we didint eat.We decided to keep the service charge because the waitress was so nice and she apologizes many times for the situation but the manager didint care at all. we dont pretend to eat for free but a bit more care for costumer will be appreciated .
As usually bills always serve piece of heaven. My favourite donuts are always amazing!
The food and cappuccino was a little average. The cappuccino had too much milk and the egg wasnt well seasoned. The staff was super lovely though!
The tropical juice was excellent, the rest forgettable.Ordered steak and eggs. The steak was from frozen meat, there were a lots of water underneath, very chewy and it didn’t taste good. The chips tasted funny. They probably fried fish in the same oil they used for my chips. Half of the chips got soggy from the watery steak. The worst steak and chips I have ever had.Not worth the money.
First impression was embarrassing. I was ignored by the manager I believed, as I waited to be seated The restaurant was quiet so I don’t see the reason why..The food was not the best but I did enjoy the dessert, the view was lovely was we sat next to the glass window. We took off the 12.5 percent service charge as we felt the service was disappointing by the end of our lunch.
The food is good. Kudos to the chef! The service on the other hand is quite slow almost non existential. They took 35 mins to bring our food out. Also be careful, they add an extra 12.5% service charge in the bill for an appalling service. Felt robbed!
Had a very nice meal at Bills in Greenwich. I ordered the chicken sandwich with chips. The sandwich was large and ended up taking half of it home. Good service and friendly staff. Mains are between £12-£16. Good veg options also. Would eat there again.
Delicious food, Very slow service. Pretty much ignored, had to keep asking where our meals were.
We were in Greenwich 3 days and ate at Bill’s 2 times and both times the food and service was Amazing and the ambiance is perfect! Gino did an Amazing job serving us and made Fantastic recommendations! You have to get the donuts, seriously Amazing!
We were lucky to stumble upon this absolutely amazing place! The decor, the atmosphere, the service, the music, the food and the drinks are fantastic here. Would definitely be one of my go to places if I lived in London. If you are in the area, this is the place Id recommend stopping by for food and drinks.
Food nice, staff friendly and happy to help, with the exception of the barman who decided to keep our drinks waiting until wed FINISHED our starters. Also, watch out for the service charge they add on to the bill. Most places are 10% for more than 6 guests... Our bill had 12.5% for 2 guests
Came to bills with my boyfriend. It was very nice, very well cooked. He had the special burger which had bourbon in it, he loved it 😍 I had the classic burger which was lovely. The food was amazing and the staff are lovely. I did find a hair in the sauce however the manager gave me a free drink to compensate so I was happy lol. We’ve been here a few times, we love the food and the service. He just wants the special to be added to the main menu haha x
Absolutely 5☆ brunch place in Greenwich! Lively brunch buzz, kind stuff and a super delicous food.
Great food. Good service. Waited at the door for ages while two people chatted, then a member of my party came for me... but hey🤷🏽♀️ nice evening out.
Great portions, great service, great drinks, I would highly recommend, the only thing letting it down was the eggs where cold, and the avocado was not seasoned at all, other than that it was so so so good, the staff where friendly and efficient, the atmosphere was fun and comfy, I would 100% recommend the Mac n cheese, keep doing what your doing, one of the best spots in Greenwich
The pancakes looked so good we just decided no go in and have them, although we had no such plans whatsoever. And those pancakes didnt disappoint. I couldnt finish the portion, though, which is rare. Will definitely come back to try the sweet pancakes next time. The service was also very good, despite the place been packed.
The food was fine but the restaurant needs a good clean. There was a visible layer of dust on the flat surfaces at the back of the booth seating (eye leveland other surfaces enclosing the booths. The staff were nice enough but lack a certain regard for H&S which I guess will come with experience and training. Apart from having a tray of drink accidentally knocked over my partner (which would have been nice to have seen a discount of our bill for the inconvenienceit was a good enough experience.
Friendly local restaurant in old Greenwich village. Great decor, loads of seating and an large outdoor space as well. They have a varied set of menus, breakfast, brunch and dinner, so lots of choice at different times of the day.The food is flavoursome and well presented, staff are attentive and considering how busy it gets, they keep their calm amongst the frenzy. If you are visiting Greenwich village, try out Bills, you wont be disappointed.
Great overall. If I had to say something I would have changed is that the chicken was a little bit too dry so after a while it wasnt as nice to eat.The service was great, the restaurant has good views and its beautiful inside, the prices are ok and the food was delicious.I want to remark that the portions are quite big, which makes me very happy. I paid 12 pounds for the huge Avocado sandwich with a large portion of fries.
The food was really good.We were served by a black young lady with purple braids, she was so friendly and had lovely manner when she spoke to my 5 and 12 year old kids.Would definitely recommend the chocolate tart.
Went here for a 50th birthday. Very hard to park but we parked in the underground car park near the Cutty Sark. You wouldnt know it was there unless you knew the area.Luckily we were seated upstairs as downstairs was packed and loud. The staff upstairs were very attentive especially the young girl who served us. We were not the easiest of customers Loool.A few of us ordered the steak. Beware, it is very thin and they didnt serve us the medium rare that was asked for. Instead it was very well done resembling the sole of a shoe.My butternut chicken burger was OK but in all, main course wasnt memorable for any of us.The real positive was the desserts. All of them were visually spectacular and they tasted yummy. The strawberry cheesecake was excellent and the cinnamon doughnuts yum yum. I would definitely return but just for dessert.
This my third time here . Had fruit pancakes with fired eggs and cappuccino. Egg was perfect but the pancakes 🥞 quite suggy and would have prefer a flat pancake . Have had other meals here which I did enjoy , overall ———7/10
Favourite place to gather with friends and eat delicious food surrounded by gorgeous interior! The service is lovely too!
Nice surroundings. Friendly service. Food was good, lovely burger, but some items not available (due to busy Valentines Day one day earlier). Three desserts out of six not available so we went to nearby Kasbas for dessert where there was a huge selection and better prices.
Excellent restaurant with very friendly and attentive staff. Brilliant value for money too with BOGOF on selected cocktails on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays, as well as a free dessert with selected main courses!
The service is incredible. Shakil was absolutely great. Fast, friendly and super attentive. Thanks! The food is nice, I liked the dessert, the Flower pot
Fantastic food. We went for brunch on the Saturday and had the crab cakes as well as the bills burger. Both of these dishes were great in their own right. We again had breakfast the next day and the pancakes were fantastic; as were the eggs benedict. The service on each occasion was impeccable and I could not fault that, or indeed any aspect of our visit.
Having experienced Bills before I was looking forward to this visit, however there were some issues. The food was not to the usual high standards, they were out of salmon, prawns so my wife had to settle for something she didnt actually want. They were out of lemonade, but to make it worse they were out of bottled water. When our mains came out they forgot one order so we had all eaten while one of us had no food. Props to the staff for giving us the meal complementary and also for the good service.
Bill’s had good food, a nice casual elegance vibe, and friendly servers. My only complaint is that the food took a long time for a Monday lunch, took another 8-10 minutes (and asking 3 peopleto bring a missing item from what was ordered, then another 10-15 to get the bill, making it a nearly two hour lunch instead of the one hour planned.
When entering the restaurant we were greeted and sat on a table pretty fast.Service was on point throughout the night except the occasional question of if we were done with our plates when we were clearly not.Nonetheless, we ordered some halloumi and avocado for a starter. I ordered the halloumi burger as a main while my friend ordered the Mac & Cheese. The burger was very good and totally recommend it as a vegetarian option.Mac & Cheese was also pretty good. Had that warm and home feeling that you are looking for. Not much else to comment on that.In general a good place to go visit if you are looking for plenty of Western European food options in Greenwich.
Amazing lunch deal, good size portion, very tasty and service was very friendly and fast. The atmosphere is very nice too. Had a fried calmari starter (huge portionand a minute steak. Iced soya latte was very good too. The only downside was fresh juice - not that great. All in all, I am excited to come back for more!
Shellie and Gino served us. They were really amazing. Quick and nice service. The food for the price was really good. I highly recommend especially with your family.
Bill’s is a great chain. This particular location’s staff were friendly and attentive, the place looked nice and was clean and up to new safety standards.Unfortunately the food was underwhelming; the chicken dumplings were good but my pan fried chicken order was overcooked, the chicken breast was dry but the sides were alright.I hope they sort out the quality of the orders to match our expectations
