Bill's Glasgow Restaurant in Glasgow
Description
Privilege
Last minute shopping and a quick bite to eat. The breakfast was great, streaky bacon and a double egg washed down with a lovely latte.Service was quick and efficient temperature was checked on the way in, the tables were clean and tidy and social distancing was observed throughout.Cant wait to try Bills out for meal.
MoreOne of the best breakfast Ive had so far. Beautiful presentation and so many unconventional ingredients. Loved it!
MoreVery relaxed atmosphere, attentive servers, delicious food!! Will definitely return!
MoreVery good food for a reasonable price. Beautiful ambiance and service was helpful and efficient. Would go back for sure.
MoreGreat choice of brunch dishes. Always busy and service is friendly.
Although I only ate fries here, the food of my companions looked great. I really love the layout, decor and atmosphere here. Trendy but peaceful, warm, comfortable and friendly. Next time I return will be for a meal!
MoreCant fault my own experience. Great food and service. Our waiter Adam was brilliant. A couple of people said there hollandaise was cold but cant verify and as I didnt try theirs and they didnt complain that is up to them (i believe them though as trust them 100%). That aside, staff were great, especially Adam and I would highly recommend. Just make sure the food you serve is hot and I am sure the 5 out of 5 reviews will keep coming.
MoreThink traditional cooked breakfasts, but more pretentious. Nice as a one off if youre looking for a more adventurous modern-dining take on breakfast, but not as a general go-to. Pleasant enough atmosphere and the staff are nice, but definitely caters to the more yuppie crowd.
MoreCredit to Kate (General Managerand her staff, in particular Adam (waiterfor a fantastic date night meal. We both thoroughly enjoyed our steaks, desserts and coffees, all served in a relaxed and cosy restaurant with great vibe. Value for money is excellent for the quality of food. All dishes extremely well presented and thoroughly appreciated. Superb Vegan menu I noted.
MoreStopped here early for breakfast as it was one of the only things open so early. Had a great stack of pancakes. Very fluffy and flavorful. Also split a pot of tea that was good.
MoreHad our Christmas Management dinner here. The food was really good and they have a wide selection of cocktails.Bills has a friendly atmosphere and would be a good place to have a business lunch or a family dinner. It was also very clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
MoreThis place is indeed deserve a 5 Stars. The ambiance, food, service, deco, and etc! All superb! The location of this place is easy to find and within walking distance to many places in Glasgow. From the point I enter the restaurant. I was greet with a big smile and the serves were so friendly and they are very good to all the guest. Deserve another star for this. Will surely be back to eat here again in my next trip.
MoreAt Bills you get well rounded breakfast. Very nice place with very good smiling waitress who recommend you perfect breakfast if you cannot decide like me. Seating is very comfortable. Eggs, mushrooms and vegetable was cooked well moistured and bread was nice and crunchy. I definitely recommend this place.
MoreHad a really lovely early evening meal here - in Bills you know what youre going to get: solid food, well priced, in a good location and casual atmosphere, but what set this evening apart was some outstanding service from Dean, who was warm, friendly and had great menu suggestions.
MoreMy favorite breakfast place in Glasgow! Everytime I have family over coming from abroad, I take them here for breakfast. We love Bill’s! The staff is friendly, the food is amazing the atmosphere is very down to earth and modern.
MoreGreat breakfast and dinner at Bills! Delicious food, with good vegetarian options, be it for breakfast or burgers. The staff was particularly friendly, checking on us regularly for help and always accomodating our requests. Reasonably priced as well. We came back twice, and plan another visit to try the pancakes!
MoreBest breakfast Ive had in all the UK, though the black pudding was a wee dry. Wonderful coffee, plus nice and friendly too!
MoreAmazing breakfast , Great service, friendly and welcoming staff. Would highly recommend
MoreWe stumbled on Bills by accident but we are glad we did! Its a large space but feels cozy. Contemporary but classical. The lamb shank was juicy and seasoned just right and the chocolate brownie was delish! Service was great and prices are reasonable considering the downtown Glasgow locale.
MoreReally good breakfast. My Pop got the pancakes and I got the traditional with avocado. Tasty!
MoreBills is by far my favorite brunch place in Glasgow. I have enjoyed every meal Ive had here. I highly recommend going. The avocado toast is my go-to! They have lots of healthy juices and their coffee is also delicious! You feel right at home with their cozy ambience, you have to go!
MoreGreat food and wonderful service. Bills brunch did not disappoint!
I really enjoyed their eggs Benedict and the smoothie. Love the farmhouse chic decor!
MoreI found Bills to be conveniently located in Glasgow. The food was excellent and tasted great but is a bit on the pricey side given the portion size. Service was attentive with friendly staff. Note that they add on an optional 10% service charge so check your receipt carefully. The restaurant was clean and tidy.
MoreFood is decent and affordable. Service was alright, may not be easy to get the attention of a staff at times as they seem short handed.
MoreNice food but pricey for portion size. The decor and surroundings of the restaurant were great. The staff also attentive on our visit.I had the pancakes with streaky bacon and a glass of cloudy apple juice. The food and drink did hit the spot. However, the price to portion ratio seems a bit stingy. 3 pancakes and at best 2 skinny bits of bacon for £8??? The £3+ glass of apple juice was small and my friends coffee could have been finished in two gulps.£26 all in for two people at breakfast. It’s definitely the most I’ve spent on breakfast in a while. Ultimately, I liked the food, but ultimately left feeling short changed.
MoreOutstanding lamb! Calamari not so great. Waiting time is a little bit long, however its fine if you are not in a hurry. Service was excellent, thank you.
MoreOne of the Best Breakfast in GlasgowMust try the pancakes. Serves breakfast till 1PM during weekends. Very nice & friendly staff.
MoreI love this Bills. Excellent breakfast this morning. Proper pot of tea. Veggie option. Hangover gone. Great waiter. 😀
MoreNice good value food. Unusual mix available. Curry and the halloumi burger were very tasty. Staff very helpful Good decor. Convenient location. What’s not to likeOn top of all that they offer discounts to students and nhs staff
MoreReally nice place, we had breakfast and was really delicious, stuff was really great and helpful
MoreI had been let down with my reservation at another restaurant in the city yesterday afternoon, I was recommended Bills by a friend so I called to make a reservation at short notice yesterday for my sons birthday lunch. Frankie your restaurant manager and her staff could not have been any more helpful to us. The friendly service and welcome we received was first class, the food and service along with the surroundings were terrific. We had a terrific afternoon at your restaurant. We will definitely be back for seconds.Well recommended
MoreWe visited for breakfast on a fairly busy Saturday morning. The place looks the business, and had a nice buzz around it. Menu choices for breakfast were fairly standard and enough choice for most. However the tempting descriptions didnt quite transfer across to the actual food.My tea came in a large teapot but it was lucky if it was even half full. The food itself looked great but it was lacking in flavour. My full breakfast was dry and pretty tasteless (although the sausage bucked the trend). No black pudding, no beans but 3 pieces (not full slicesof toast. The rest of the family were similarly underwhelmed. Which was a shame as service was impeccable and the food wasnt terrible, just a bit bland.
MoreWent there twice. The first time seemed fine, a bit over priced but nice atmosphere. I decided to go a second time but I was disappointed. I didnt like that they made us wait although there were many free tables and also they made a mistake with the order and it seemed like they just went to the kitchen and changed the plates and gave us the same thing adjusted. In fact, the pancakes were not as hot as when they are just cooked and there were just few berries and not even enough maple syrup! Maybe I was simply unlucky!
MoreVery cosy place! The breakfast and the coffee was so delicious. You have to go there.
MoreGreat breakfast, fast service and very friendly staff
Great brunch and catch up with friends. Friendly staff, quick service. Enough check back from staff without being over bearing
MoreIncredible spot for delicious meals with a lot of greens (wink wink to those who are travelling). Lovely environment and welcoming staff.
MoreWonderful service and lovely food! Even though it is a franchise, the staff were very warm and engaging! The menu was standard but the shakes and coffer alongside the delicious food brought a very large smile to my face!
MoreGreat service and environment, the interior is really spacious and escapes the traditional dim atmosphere. I had breakfast on my own and felt really welcome. The breakfast menu does not offer anything overly impressive but it has all the classics to accommodate different tastes; the food was well cooked and brought out almost immediately. The day was overly cold (big snow dayand the waiter didnt mind I was holding onto my Starbucks take-out-hand-warmer of a tea, which was nice. The place is decent and I am looking forward to a chance to visit again, hopefully to try the dinner service
MoreNice wee lunch while I passed some time. Big fan of the healthy options Bills promote. Always friendly staff and not overbearing. Pleasant atmosphere and as a single diner was happy to be offered a newspaper. Good service, great job.
MoreMy friends had already been & had highly recommended you - table booked for 11.30 for brunch, 2 of us had the buttermilk pancakes - I had them with bacon & my friend had the fruit both delicious, my other friend had the veggie breakfast which looked amazing! Shared a huge pot of tea & then I had a latte, great service & lovely staff, loved the restaurant with all the different lighting. Will definitely be back!!
MoreNice atmosphere, overall friendly service. Because healthy food is definitely the focus however, there is a lack of diversity in terms of the food options. No waffles or French toast, as well as no turkey bacon. Would rate the restaurant four stars if they served either waffles or French toast, would the rate the restaurant five stars if they served either waffles or French toast as well as turkey bacon. Modern Food services should be more aware of people who do not eat red meat but are also not vegetarian or vegan.
MoreVery disappointing visit . I ordered avocado toast with poached eggs and salmon , and received boiled eggs with old salmon. Not mentioning I waited 45 mins for my’boiled eggs’ toast’. Shame
MoreHad a pleasant evening meal here one Friday at 6pm. Pleasant, friendly service, in a calm and unrushed atmosphere.Tried Bills out for breakfast the following morning, and were given a huge pot of tea for two, nice and hot! The scrambled egg and bacon was very good, a thumbs-up also for the freshly-squeezed orange juice. However, a more mediocre serving of poached eggs and avocado (seemed to be the previous evenings guacamole!on sourdough toast. The crispy bacon added as an extra to the dish did make it quite tasty. About a tenner per person for breakfast.
MoreBrunch is so good that we went two days in a row on or weekend in Glasgow. The crab cake was absolutely delicious but the portion was too small. I could have done with 2 more. Pancakes are nicest Ive had in a long time both fruit and bacon
MoreLAST MEAL IN GLASGOW!! Great choice for an epic last meal in this fair city. A little pricey--the meal you see is about 20 quibs. However, the quality, service, and location justify it to the nth degree
MoreI have been to Bills in other citys and really like it. This one has a lovely atmosphere and considering we went in for brunch on a busy Saturday morning the service was quick and the food was really tasty! Its wheelchair accessible with an accessible toilet
MoreVery good and original food, smiling staff and cosy decoration. I really live this restaurant !
MoreMarmite themed menu was very interesting, bought a great teapot to take home as well
