Bill's Farnham Restaurant in Mehdia
Description
Privilege
Great to see Russell in Bills this morning, if you want service with a smile and good food, look no further.. Always top draw..Well done Russ
MoreHaving eaten at various branches of Billss over the years, I have to say I think this is the worst one Ive been too. The service was slow, the staff were not particularly welcoming, and the food was fine without being anything particularly special. Not enough to put me off the Bills chain as a whole but I dont think Ill be going back to this branch any time soon.
MoreGood drinks and nice meals. All the food that we ordered came out really fast. The environment is really pleasant and enjoyable! The waiters and lovely as well.Sadly if your a wheelchair user the place is limiting, as it has multiple stairs such as the one leading up to the toilets.
MoreHad a great dinner there the other day, Id only ever had breakfast there before, but the burger I had was lovely, and everyone else enjoyed their food too! The only issue was they had run out of steak so one of our party had to have something different!
MoreHad late lunch here and had the vegan burger which was delicious! My partner and a friend had the unlimited pancakes and they loved them. They were careful to ensure our allergies were taken care of perfectly and we had a good dining experience.Emma and Melissa deserve special praise as they delivered friendly service.
MoreMy wife and I visit here regularly for a quick lunch or dinner. The food is always of an acceptable standard, the staff are friendly, polite and attentive.
MorePopped in after a long day on London. Didnt need to book as was pretty quiet. Food and service were fine. 👍
MoreReally tasty burger, kids were entertained with colouring while we waited plus free ice cream for the little ones
MoreTonight we went for a Saturday family evening out. Bills had run out off Prosecco. It was 7pm. The Bills Lager was flat and undrinkable and on arriving home with a take away for the boys Grandmother Bills had forgot to put the chips in with the Calamari. Will we go again? Absolutely not
MoreGreat service in a very friendly restaurant. Food was brilliant. Very much recommend! The service was timely, super freindly and simply made the meal easy. Had the nduja meatballs. Kids eat free when ordering an adult main
MoreGreat service all round staff were extremely friendly and couldnt do enough to cater for us, food was superb and come out quick with no delays..
MoreWe had a great late breakfast, it took a while to be served , just a small error, but they were so apologetic and knocked the drinks off the bill. However they didnt need to, it was fab, thank you!
MoreWhat a fantastic restaurant with great friendly service and a wide range of food to choose from. Food was fresh, portions were extremely generous
MoreGreat breakfast and brunch. Full English and pancakes were lovely.Great service and nice amount of space.
MoreNice atmosphere, fixed menu was good value. Tasty plentiful food 😋.
The lunchtime special is great value. It is also dog friendly.A reliable, friendly establishment which provides good food to the table.
MoreBill’s food never disappoint me and my favorite is definitely the white calamari and dumplings ! Been there a few times with friends, partner and once with my parents ! First place I ate when I moved to farnham, the staff are so nice, I’m always seing new staff all the time which is nice as they are all nicely trained ! Although last time we went got served by a trainee, he was sometimes confused, as we understood afterwards it was his first ever shift so bless him he tried his best and did pretty well ! Had a large ladies group behind and there were a few incidents with drinks dropping on the floor but that’s ok as I understand the pressure and stress in this industry ! No complaint whatsoever with food nor service, i recommend this place :)
MoreAbsolutely wonderful time here. Didnt reserve a table but they managed to find us one. Friendly and attentative service. The food is outstanding, and try their twist on the strawberry cheesecake-its fabulous. Thanks guys, youll be seeing a lot more of us.
MoreStaff were really friendly, decor is pleasant, but the food was average.Serving staff were good at checking ingredients and avoiding any food allergies but the result was pretty unimaginative - halloumi strips in a bun... You might add lettuce, cucumber, tomato etc but no. I guess we should have been more specific but we didnt expect them to serve something so dry with such little imagination. Need to be better than that to get more than 3 stars.
MoreFantastic food and service, well worth service charge and tip, would highly recommend and intend to visit again soon!
MoreThe restaurant had a nice vibe, was relaxed and the waiting staff was friendly. The service was a bit slow at times and we had different waiting staff come to the table. We got given a menu for dessert but then no one came back to see if we wanted dessert. The food was good. My partner said the burger was one of the best burgers hes had.
MoreFarnham on a Sunday has only a few venues to dine in. We chose Bills as we walked past it the previous weekend, the shawarma looked great. We dinned in, Jane had the meat balls which was delicious, whereas my chicken kebab was very bland. We had a nice bottle of Pinot served nice and cold. The mens toilets were flooded beyond use, I mentioned this to a member of the bar staff and another member of staff walking past said yes we know.Service and food was average.
MoreLovely atmosphere always very busy at breakfast, I try something different each time and so far they have not disappointed
MoreReally enjoyed the meal. Accommodated my dietary requirements and the brunch I had was huge and good quality food. Sat outside and although the outlook was quite busy, service was rapid. Note that they add a 12.5% "voluntary" service charge - we were going to tip, but thought it bumped the price up a bit higher than wed wanted. Wouldnt go for the stack of pancakes and bacon as although it was OK - a recipe for indigestion! 😆
MoreI know its a chain, but the food is great and the staff friendly and helpful. The atmosphere, even when nearly empty, was really good. The plate size was big enough to satisfy a teenager!
MoreAfter a disastrous attempt of a meal at a different restaurant, we arrived to a tried and tested Bills in Farnham! I asked if they had a table and we were assisted straight away, with a lovely smile and wonderful service! Louella is a shining star and should be highly commended for her care and attention (and adviceafter hearing the problem we had prior to arrival! She is a great asset to your company, and I understand she is heading to Bills Guildford! Good luck for the move! The meal was made by Louella!
MoreReally enjoyed evening here. Was a spontaneous night out. They had space for us and looked after us well. Food was the best Ive had out for a long while. Really nice place food and staff well done.
MoreLovely decor, food is delicious however service very slow. Had to wait ages in between drinks! Would have probably spent 3 times as much if we saw a member of staff. (The staff we did see were all lovely)
MoreGood quality grub, well presented and cooked with care and great attention to detail. Service was pleasant and courteous.A touch on the steep side on prices, but overall a good evenings visit.
MoreNo draught beer and very overpriced. Food was nice though
Apart from needing a new table as the top wasnt attached to the legs(!Its a lovely place to eat. Been there a couple of times now for brunch and they are super good and careful around allergies. Good, friendly and professional service.
MoreOur first Bills experience; really excellent. Amazing imaginative menu, iced tea to die for and edible flower pots for pudding. Main food was well cooked and tasty. Fish burger is a must for any fish n chips fan. Great service topped off a perfect family meal
MorePreviously gave 5 stars but standard has dropped. My starter delivered after my mains! 3 dishes of broccoli served cold and potato chips also luke warm.Meatballs were excellent but couldnt make up for the other below par dishes.Staff were polite and apologised.Hope next visit proves to be a lot better.
MoreLovely staff! Amazing coffee! Always great for a cocktail and the seasonal menu is good. Love the garden plate or pancakes at breakfast!
MoreVery pleasant valentines dinner set up, the staff were very good. However the food was not great, the beetroot rissoto was poor and the macaroni cheese was lacking flavour. Having said that, they looked great when they were served. If they renewed their vegetarian choices I would consider eating there again.
MoreHad the 2 course Christmas Menu, one of our group has severe food allergies which were all catered to, good atmosphere for a weekday evening and friendly staff.
MoreFriendly and helpful staff. I popped in for a quick lunch. The food arrived promptly and was good. Pancakes 🥞 with maple syrup and bacon 🥓 is a favourite of mine.
MoreWe popped in here for brunch, we didnt have a booking and they were busy but were able to seat us inside. The eggs royale were delicious as were my husbands berry pancakes. All of the staff were friendly and polite, Id honestly recommend paying a visit next time youre in Farnham.
MoreWe had a lovely evening celebrating a birthday. The staff were very friendly, warm, and welcoming. Not the greatest food in the world, but priced for the quality. I started with crispy calamari which was nice, before moving on to an 8oz sirloin, rare. but it was a bit tough to eat. For about £13 what can you expect. My partner had sea bass which she said was a little overcooked. My only complaint, and its just a bugbear of mine, is a 12.5% service charge. I would rather choose how much I tip!
MoreLovely eggs benedict and vegan burger at this restaurant. Very friendly staff and beautiful decor, would highly recommend for anyone visiting Farnham!
MoreMy visit to bills was dissapointing and stagnant to put it simply however I would be remise to say it was a bad restaurant, more just what I imagine to be a very good restaurant having a bad day.I started my visit with a diet coke and an order from the set menu with my guests both ordering the same. We waited about 20 minutes before our starters arrived which in my opinion is far too long for off peak hours. The carrot and lentil soup with bread surprised me with its respectably large size and its greenery garnish was appreciated however like many soup of the day style dishes there was a distinct lacking of bread which was only made more prominent by the surplus of soup.Once I had finished the soup I placed it at the far side of the table and waited expectantly for a member of the waitstaff to whisk it away and for our next meals to be on the way. Unfortunately this was not quite the case and we had to wait 10 minutes before receiving the attention of any staff and a further 30 minutes before our mains were to arrive. The first severe blemish on my visit was the main course in which my guest was given the completely wrong order, which when serving 3 guests from a menu of 4 possible mains, you are forced to wonder how such a mistake could happen. To give the restaurant credit it only took a further 5 minutes to replace her meal with the correct order. On a plus side we were provided with consistent fill ups of water, however in this day and age that is a very low bar.On the subject of the quality of my main, the chips were far below par and after having a couple I decided to shelve the idea of having anymore. The steak was remarkably large at almost 10 inches long and about 6 wide however it made up for this with the steak being so thin I was only given the options of medium and well-done when I had initially ordered it. The greens were under seasoned however were certainly edible.Notes from my guests were that the calamari had no flavour and they thought the muffin for the eggs Benedict may have been stale. We had voiced these opinions to our waiter and while in the interlude of main and dessert, who I assume to be the shift manager, came to us and offered a free desert for the table. Had our meal of not already taken an hour and a half at this point we may of accepted the offer however our meal had taken an hour and a half and I was not intending to stay much longer. There was positives to the buisness which saved it from a dreaded 1 star and that was both the personality brought by the staff and the condolences given by the manager. Each staff member was a distinctly friendly individual however they also seemed to lack cohesion as an overall workforce. At the end of our visit upon being given the bill we were offered a 1/3 cut from our charge bringing it down to a £30 cost. Its the same principle I have always believed. The true quality of an establishment is shown in how it handles its mistakes and I do believe Bills handled its well.I would recommend that you visit Bills as I recommend most of my visits but I would ask all of you to remember to keep your hopes in check and maybe stay away from the calamari and eggs Benedict.
MoreReally great breakfast experience! Food and service was lovely!
A great breakfast in a very COVID safe restaurant. Hand sanitiser on each table and temperature checks on entry made us feel very safe. Good menu selection and very tasty food along with a very helpful and attentive waiter. We look forward to returning again soon.
MoreGreat service. Fantastic menu choice. I dont eat meat and there was so much I wanted to try. Lovely private area to sit with the family.
MoreGreat quirky restaurant. Fresh good quality food and friendly service. Booked online and had temperature taken on entry. Seated straight away, a comfortable distance from other diners. Quick friendly service from all staff members. Great quality breakfast.
MoreI adore Bills, especially for breakfast, as it always feels like a special treat! I love the quirky decor and the staff are always sweet. Its great to see more vegan options growing on the menu too 😁
MoreTypical Bills, this one had a less intense decor than others Ive been to, it feels warm with good service and great food. Same somewhat boring menu as all the others though, when will they change it?!?! My company paid so I was happy to try the more expensive dishes which taste great but arent great value. But if when Ive done all of those the menu still hasnt changed I wont be going back to any Bills - Im SO BORED OF THIS MENU. When did it last change, it must be YEARS now.
MoreBills is a nice place to eat, with incredibly friendly staff. The food is great, but can taste marginally. Also, be sure to know how much you can eat, as the burgers are very large and it is almost impossible to finish all of it(below). It can get quite loud and busy, so maybe if you have younger ones, being them to the back of bills where it is more quiet. It also doubles up as a breakfast and lunch serving place. The breakfast and lunch are all good, but dinner definitely has the most choice and best tasting food to offer.
MoreMy first visited Bills restaurant in Farnham was neither 2016 or 2018 which I have being a fan of the hospitality and discount deal with students and their lunch deal while I was attended my university in the area from 2015 - 2018 for my B. A. (Honscourse in illustration. Also, I have enjoyed the level of professionalism in their foods and quality in their steak. Since then I have the chance to visited them on the 16/8/19 where I felt treat like with care and good communication impression when I have detailed on my description on the special bills order via my email to the female host of the Farnham Bills Restaurant. At 11:00 or 12:00 something, I have ordered their lunch deal on their Starters: Chicken and Season Dumplings with Bills Spicy chutney which is my first time tries this and I extremely enjoyed the texture and the chunky on the Season dumpling. My main is Minute Steak, their Chips are Chucky and tasteful make felt more convincing with the accurate than some restaurant. Also, their steak is tasty and easy to eaten and cutting which I have mentioned when offering their steak preference. Also, I have used their Bills restaurant deal with the code on their Chocolate Sphere to celebrate their newest healthier dishes which is served Vegan alternative in the restaurant in 2019. Speaking of the Chocolate Sphere when I first saw it gives me a happy and childlike with the decor and the name of bills on the biscuit and the chocolate feature. The taste is lovely, chunky and creamy when broken the chocolate circle. Plus, the hot chocolate beverage is smooth, well texture in the cream and lovely to drink especially it was rain when I stayed in the restaurant at the time. Also, I have noticed Farnham bills restaurant have showcase other beverages, jams and sweets inside the restaurant. And their Apple juice is £3.95, Sweetshop from £1.95, All jams is £3.50, Truffles is £11:95 and Bills Marmalades is £3.50 in August 2019. And Their employees (unisexare welcome, socialized, informal and easy-going toward me and other paid customers. Plus, one of their male waiter who is serving the customer in front of my table is relatable, funny and charisma with his working life and customer service. Im impressed by how the employees balance the level of customers on that with a positive environment in the restaurant. Especially, theres young children and small dogs. Thankfully, both of them are behaviour with their owners and parents. Also, the building is lively and socialising sometimes from a different conversation. Unfortunately, the toilet room has three or four toilets, no air condition and their sink is slightly small and once your toilet rolling is finished you can find a metal basket with new rolling to replace the old one. Despite, the lack of some need features in their toilet room the area is mostly empty and silence so you can at least use the toilet at peace. Overall, Im happy with my choice of restaurants is Bills Restaurant which giving me a happy memory when I first visited their restaurant for their breakfast and lunch deal with my student or debit card to pay my order. Their price range is slightly cheap to expensive on their dishes. Some deals can be cut the price on lunch or dinner deals. Recommended this restaurant if youre visiting Farnham in the summer break or somewhere to eat.
MoreAble to fit in a table of 4 on a busy Sunday lunch. Very friendly service. Lovely food. One of the better places to eat out in Farnham
