The food was excellent. From the moment we walked in we were treated very well and staff were pleasant. We gave our orders and the food came out very quick. Xmas meal 8 of us. No xmas music, no crackers, no Irish coffees. No xmas cheer from manager who hastily plonked plates in front of us, who cleared up and starting flashing lights for us to leave though it wasnt late. Excellent starter of salmon mousse but turkey dinner disappointing...veg too hard to eat, roast pots not brown. Will not be back.....

In the beginning I chose this restaurant from a friends recommendation. To be fair the experience was like riding a rollercoaster. And here’s why.Very pleased with the service, although the steak wasn’t cooked to medium at first. However the manager and staff were extremely kind and very man like by offering an entire new dish again with sides even when I said I will keep the old ones.What surprised me was the offering at the end when they said deserts on the house. I am deeply moved and would strongly recommend this restaurant.

Mixed dining experience over two consecutive days. Yesterday morning, attentive service, confirmed order and checked how our food was. This morning, order not confirmed and both drinks & food order were wrong.

The meat was a bit overcooked but not to the grade it was worth sending it back. Very friendly staff.

Understaffed, overrated.Although the staff are friendly and helpful, it just feels like there’s not enough of them. Food is good, but it doesn’t fill you up. Their are better places to eat.

Took my sister for a birthday lunch and the food was great! Wonderful and attentive staff/service very accommodating and friendly. Love the decor and how the chiles out ambience, thank you! 😊

I headed to Bills which had plenty of free tables outside, which I could choose from. I was a little concerned that there might be some rain (there was a 90% chance of rain according to my weather apphowever it was still lovely and warm. I sat down and looked at the menus. I had pretty much made my choice earlier, however I did look again. They had a set menu and I did think the chestnut mushroom, spinach and truFFle risotto, topped with a poached egg, pumpkin seeds and pea shoots sounded very nice. I guess my hesitation was that this wasn’t likely to be cooked to order, but maybe merely be a heated up prepared dish. Though I with the choice of calamari for a starter it was a possibility.In the end I went with the main menu. What had struck me from the list of starters were the tuna tacos. So decided to have those and the Dinner Special, an 8oz sirloin steak.I placed my order and asked for some tap water along with the food.The tuna tacos arrived very quickly and it was an interesting looking dish.It was seared raw tuna, avocado & spicy cherry tomatoes on crunchy blue corn tortillas, with crème fraîche, coriander & toasted sesame seeds.I don’t know why, but I was expecting tacos, rather than the serving of tuna, avocado and tomatoes on crunchy blue corn tortillas. However I did like the presentation. The tuna was excellent, and liked the taste and texture. The avocado and tomato was nice as well. The tortilla were a little too crunchy for me, I think some soft blue corn tortillas might have been a better choice. The crème fraîche added some nice coolness and freshness to the dish, though I do think there was a little too much red chilli for me.Having finished my starter and the table was cleared, I had to ask again for some tap water, which hadn’t arrived. I waited for my main course. I went for the dinner special, the 8oz sirloin steak served with rosemary salted fries, a green leaf & mixed seed salad and garlic butter.I really enjoyed the steak and it was a really nice meal. I enjoyed sitting outside and the weather was perfect that reminded me of eating out in Greece and Spain, but this was Ealing in London in September.As I was finishing up and paying my bill, the table next me were served with their order of calamari, I was quite pleased I hadn’t ordered it, and had gone with the tuna tacos, as it wasn’t what I had imagined. I thought it might be like the squid you get at Wagamama or Yo! Sushi, but they looked like breaded calamari rings. Something I won’t order next time I go to Bills.The service was efficient, but I think it a little cold as a result. Having said that I did think overall, good service, excellent food and a nice atmosphere. I will go again, but thinking that the weather will change will mean I will be eating inside.

Crab cakes were delicious and my partner enjoyed his steak. Staff were very accommodating, ensuring we had sufficient sauces and water. Would have given 5 stars if not for the rude "welcoming" we received upon entering the restaurant. The man at the door hardly said hello before pointing and telling us to "sit over there". Every time he walked past our table he would stare at us without so much as a smile, making us feel a bit uncomfortable. Other than that it was a positive experience.

A perfect weekend slow British lunch! Easy to book a table online and amazing to see a very welcoming staff with clear instructions and table options. Menu looks revamped, colorful and good options. Go burger 🍔 go salad 🥗 go skewers go kids go fresh juice go smoothies or just stick to cocktails and beer. Dessert was amazing too. Best was the new Flower pot dessert with edible flower. Definitely on the return list (actually this was a return). Nearest car park is Q-Park

Awful manager!Visited two weeks ago and had excellent experience.However visited today and was horrendous.Two people trying to manage whole place on a very busy sunny Tuesday.Waited 45 minutes for simple order? This was order of day for most people,many of whom left.The two young waiters were very apologetic but were clearly rushed off their feet.Asked to speak to manager ( who I am familiar withonly to find she has left. Explains everything!This new "manager" gave no apology only smirked .Hats off to the staff for keeping the whole thing a float!Some managerial training may be appropriate for rookie manger!

Tasty food, well presented, nice place to have a lunch

Interior looks lovely and it is all set up for you to sit down and be served. However, the service is what lets this establishment down. Although we were told it would take 20-30 minutes for our food, it took them 20 minutes to give us the tap water we ordered..and it took overall 60 minutes or more for our food to come(bare in mind this was a small sharing plate of dips). The reason its 2 and not 1 is because the member of staff serving us was very apologetic and nice.

We always have such a lovely meal. My son loves the breakfast pancakes. Today they went above and beyond as they noticed his bday badge. I can not begin to explain the amazing service received. They staff literally melt my heart and its because of them, we will continue to come back.

Bills restaurant was an ok experience. The speed of the service was good, the staff were friendly and the place was clean with a decor that was relatively kind on the eye. However if youre looking for really good quality flavours then maybe perhaps this isnt the place considering their pricing. A meal for two adults and a child came up to a total of roughly £72 pounds including the service charge. My starter, of Halloumi strips was just ok. Not bad, but ok. My main meal which was chicken skewers with rice was pretty disappointing to be honest. They marketed it as wild rice which when it arrived was cold. (If thats how its meant to be then forgive me. I just like plain or brown rice)I requested normal white rice or even brown rice, but they didnt have that option. So now Im technically eating a chicken kebab with cold rice mixed into quinoa? Not great. Just hot standard rice will do. Cant remember what the wife had but she wasnt overly impressed, and for once I couldnt put it down to her Italian roots. The nail on the coffin for me was the desert. That was the most God awful thing that I have ever tasted in my life. I had the warm gooseberry and elder flower apple crumble. (This came with an option of vanilla ice cream as well as custardIm sure that as youre reading this it already looks wrong. It was basically a sour bowl of watery fruits. I didnt even finish the dessert it was so bad. A well done simple apple crumble would be fine. Elderflower and gooseberry is unnecessary. Any way the bill came and I was shocked. In fact I declined the service charge. I have read the reviews on Bill and they all seem pretty sound. Maybe their forte is burgers. Id say its an ok place if you want to pop in for a quick bite for yourself but not a place where you want to splash the cash for a large crowd. The taste factor just isnt there Im afraid.

A friend and I went for a Thursday night dinner and decided to go with the 3 course set menu.The set menu is a good option to go for as it contains many of the same food items as the main menu.The starters of halloumi fries and crispy calamari were tasty.The service was very good and friendly.

Absolutely my favourite place for brunch, lunch, dinner or drinks in Ealing! Very helpful and accomodating staff. 10 out of 10 for everything ☺️

Went there today for my friends birthday. A lady had an accident outside the restaurant and there was only 2 staff and 1 stayed outside with the lady the other one had to do everything by himself. And I mean take orders, seat people, bring orders to table, make drinks, sort the bill and it was busy. He did an absolutely amazing job. The food was amazing. Definitely recommend the chicken burger and the Halloumi fries. They also had a deal for a gin spritz that was 1.99 and me and my friend had loads. Both members of staff were really polite. Will definitely go back and recommend

Had a perfect meal. From the outset our server, Tom, was just the best. Seriously give the guy a huge raise. What a lovely man, super helpful, great with our son and got him to eat a pea! That is IMMENSE, truly. The drinks selection was fab, food delicious and decor perfectly chilled. Wish we had been last night too!

Its not cheap and they dont serve the best food ever but its nice, the staff is kind, the food is tasty. They have a good menu that everyone can find something for themselves. Its usually very busy during brunch time at the weekends and sometimes you will need to wait for a table, or for your order to be served but we go there to relax, have some good time

Really nice breakfast with polite staff ensuring you’re well taken care off.

We ordered the all day breakfast and although one of the dishes was cold, the staff were kind enough to get it changed. There was sufficient distance between different tables so it was great to see a restaurant actually following social distancing rules. The service was really good and well definitely be going back to try something else from the menu.

Brunch at Bill’s, I went for the full on breakfast, it tasted as good as it looks. Surprisingly busy there despite the current restrictions, all good though. Staff very welcoming and efficient.

Would have loved to give a 5 for the value, we had a chilli calamari which was really disappointing. However, there was some good and some great too.I decided to go for the fish cake with poached egg, the texture was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, much the way I prefer them, the cake was nicely seasoned and the poached eggs nicely cooked and the whole thing very well presented.My partner decided on the Chicken Skewers with grain - which she was more than happy with, not my taste.Now, the highlight - the Kids Fish Fingers, not your typical kids meal, large fish finger which were mini Cods piecesSo, in summary, don’t have the calamari- find a child to take, take them to Mc Donald’s first and steal their Fish Fingers.

It’s the best palce if you want to try an authentic English breakfast. The breakfast was bustling and very tasty. Praise for lemonade, because it was so delicious and special. Been here a few times now. The food is quite good. Coffees arent that great. Breakfasts are better than lunch. Pancakes are my favourite. Had a dessert (apple crumbleand a peppermint tea today, which was nice. Service has always been good. Enough space for buggies and baby changing facilities so it is family friendly.

Short stop in London with a few hours to kill so I had to have a proper Breakfast before continuing. Bills brunch packed it all in for a really reasonable price. Every element from the well cooked sunny side eggs, to the impossibly delicious hash browns was where my journey started but wait theres more. Toast, baked beans and BACON! This was all paired really well with the grilled tomato and mushrooms. That was just the food! The staff here was friendly and helpful. All round great place to eat and well deserving of 5 🌟.

Lovely place in Ealing while you are waiting. Been there twice and really had a very good ambience and felt happy.

This is in a chain, but this branch has a lovely location, good food and attentive service. Theres a sunny outdoor seating area on a wide pavement. The food is well prepared and presented, and its good value. The menu is international with a bit of a US feel. All dietary issues are or can be addressed. The drinks menu has a broad compass. The service is very attentive, but not pushy. Its well designed for those with accessibility issues. I was there on a quiet weekday lunchtime but there was still a very good feel to the place.

It took a lot for me to walk through them door.I think it was the name.But you know what? I was wrong.Its a lovely place. With lovely food that everyone will enjoy.I tried the pancakes and they were so fluffy, that they almost levitate. The only thing holding them down was the size of them!Honestly this is a reccomend from me.Well done Bill.Youll be seeing me again soon!

The eggs were done very well and the avocado was nice although could have been even tastier with feta cheese. I didnt like their version of sourdough bread which should be thin and crispy not chunky and soggy this ruined the meal for me, if the bread was made more toast like as crispy as most sourdough is then brilliant.Good choice of drinks and the surroundings were nice. The waiter was very friendly.The waitress on the door looked she was having a bad day, not very nicely greeting people with no smile or hello, quite unhappy but I guess its Saturday morning!!!There are a lot of choices for breakfast in ealing and this is one Ill miss but the food was generally ok.

Above average place with an interior shelving units carrying products for sale... coffee, jams etc. The space offers different seating arrangements for couples, small or large groups. Well presented food is good, not great, prices fair.

Had a great catch up with a friend over dinner at bills. Everything was perfect, from the moment we stepped into the establishment to the moment we left. We were immediately greeted at the door and seated. I must say this is the most hospitality I have ever seen offered within a restaurant, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We had the green curry which was delicious. Although portions sizes are small, it’s the perfect balance as you must, must MUST have desert here. I 100% recommend the cinnamon doughnut!!Also the setting is beautiful and I kept joking that I was on a date with my friend, nice touch with the dim lights.I would 100% recommend everyone to try this place. Amazing!!

Bills have a fantastic breakfast menu that never disappoints! The service is timely and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. Ideal for catch-ups and dates. Id recommend you try the pancakes!

I don’t know what the so fuss about Bill’s except the grand looks, Average menu not so much choices, especially for gluten or vegetarian 🌱 😉, although I did enjoy my chicken salad, service was very friendly, and Serena was very attentive and helpful 👍

Had originally reviewed this location a 5 because the service and food is very good. However after a more recent visit, after finishing breakfast and looking up into the fabric lamp shade right above my head, caked on grime and dust, horrific. So based on cleanliness review ammended to a 2 star

Have had mixed experiences at Bills but on my last visit to Ealing one for breakfast I had the pancakes and they were awesome. Also the staff were great as well.

Really enjoyed the food here, just had a three courses lunch with Bills IPA beer. Excellent service as well with friendly staff.
