Contemporary European chain dishing up separate breakfast, afternoon tea, lunch and dinner menus.
So we went in today, this being my first visit to any Bills anywhere. I will say first and last. Now the staff where polite and lovely. The food not so great. There was lipstick on a fresh glass we where given, that was never replaced, even after asking. Drinks after ordering had to be chased up after 15 mins. Now you will think 15 mins is not a long wait. It is when you are the only people in the place. We asked for medium on our burgars and got well done. When we asked to replace the food we where told due to ecolie we had to have it cooked this way. Same policy on stake or could you just not be bothered to make another. Why would you even given the option and Im sorry what a load of bull. Like I said first and last to Bills anywhere.
Friendly staff and good value for the money thanks for a good time
Breakfast was cooked amazingly with superb service!
Awesome pancakes and bacon for breakfast! Would go again!
Very disappointing.Have visited previously several times in recent years.Food quality appears to have declined and less menu choices.
Very good quality food, nice cute interior and lovely service
Not the service you might expect.Went in for Breakfast, ordered 3 pancake stack with bacon. Plate and food arrived cold and pancakes were dry and tough with a stale taste. Informed waiter regarding my experience of the quality of food, no explanation offered, no asking kitchen and then his response to remove the cost of one pancake from the bill. In the current climate is this the new customer service?
Super service from Lisa and the rest of the staff, great pancakes for a late breakfast. Thanks
Great food, really good service. Definitely going there again. Even more of a bonus they do Blue Light card discount!
After waiting 40 Mins for food after ordering to find the plate did not include items described on the menu and most of the dish was cold I was extremely disappointed.
Brilliant lunch outSuperb staff and absolutely stunning foodGreat quality of ingredients, cobb salad delicious , chicken dumplings so moorish and the bread and cheese dip starter was a winner 🏆
Firstly, the meal was fantastic. Ive recently gone vegetarian and the Vegan Dirty Burger was perfect, one of the best alternatives Ive had in my short time as a vegetarian. However, our waitress of the day, Ella, came through when I lost my bank card. I was on a desperate hunt, and when i returned to Bills, she couldnt have been more helpful, looking everywhere, and finally calling me when she found it. Amazing service all the way through. Ella, youve earned your doughnut!!
Booked and when we walked in we were told additional wait of about ten minutes for food. This turned into an hour with no courtesy update. We also had two small hungry children with us. We then asked the waitress how much longer. She said shed find out but didnt bother to let us know. After another 15 minutes with still no food went to get up and walk out. Suddenly were then asked if everything is ok. Said an hour and a quarter too long to wait. No offer of proactive update etc. Not happy. Would avoid!
Had a table booked for 11 ordered food around 11.15 didn’t come out till 12, they had at max 10 tables in, service was awful for the amount of staff they had on shift, terrible service food came out cold what’s the point in waiting for long for terrible food
nice food and waitresses but the service was sooooo slow and it wasn’t busy at all :/ food took forever to come. waited about half an hour for some flat bread and drinks and well over an hour for mains.
Nice food, good staff. Food was a little slow, but it was mothers day. 🙂
Went for mothers day breakfast, food was below average, obviously mostly pre cooked, coffee was warm rather than hot (I guess so you order more than one), 12.5% service added to the bill, breakfast and coffee for 4 cost almost £60 for very average food, and warm coffee.
A disappointing experience, very poor service from multiple staff and a below average meal.I went in for dinner (2 adults 2 childrenwith a table booked, restaurant was only half full but still took 15mins just to get our order taken. Then another 45 of waiting with no food, and with no explanation and only even acknowledged after following up with a couple of different staff. 5 further minutes and then 2 meals arrive, 2 mins later the other 2. The meals were only luke warm, looked poorly put together and some items different from the menu (luckily no allergies). No apologies or offers of anything else.Overall a real letdown as Ive quite enjoyed Bills a number of times in the past, but I would avoid this branch.
Nice but over priced. Kids never got a drink with their meal and no dessert appeared for them either . Music was far too loud. But everything else was good . I would go back .
Lovely Monday evening! Had a brilliant time. Great food and even better service. Thank you so much to Amy and the young man (sorry didn’t get your namefor a fantastic experience. Enjoying our beers at home ;-)
The food was really tasty. Only downside is we asked for our starters to come at same time as kids food. They brought starters first so the kids had watch us eating, when you are a toddler that doesnt go down well!
Didnt bk, it was very busy but the young lady (hostess)was very helpful and managed to fit us in after a 15 minute wait. Sat down 11.20am ordered drinks five minutes later to be told breakfast had finished, gutted. Ordered from the lunch menu food was nice but not what we wanted
Comfortable place to visit for us to have an early dinner. Both had burgers which came promptly and tasted lovely. Call out to the staff, great service from all. Really enjoyed our visit there.
Came in for lunch with my mum after shopping. Lovely warm welcome from a lovely young lady.We were seated and given menus, ordered our drinks and looked through the wide selection of food.We decided to go for the lunch menu of 2 courses for just £13.95.I ordered the chicken dumplings which I have to say were a great choice as so crunchy and tasty and a minute steak with fries and peas shoots i also had a mushroom sauce.Mum had the calamari which was a huge portion and she said very crispy and she chose the pan fried sea bass with roast potatoes and butternut squashThe staff are very attentive and very knowledgeable with regards to food and drinks.Highly recommend and we shall return
Lovely breakfast, good quality, friendly staff.
Our starter took an hour to get to our table. My main was macaroni cheese and arrived to the table 10 minutes after everyone else got their food. The macaroni cheese was cold too, showing that it was not freshly cooked, just warmed up, and that wasnt even done properly. All of this may be forgiven if the restaurant was packed full, as you could maybe understand these delays and issues, but there was hardly anyone there! Needless to say, we will not be returning...
Hi guys! Strongly recommend. First time my husband and I have been out since covid, sadly we lost our daughter to cancer last April and we were given a gift card for Bills as a special treat. Oh my gosh what a treat, service was great, we had the Bills Brunch!! The food was divine. Josh who served us was amazing!! You want a special meal together...Bills in Camberley is a place to go. Definitely be going again!
[Dec 2021 2 stars] Waited 35 mins for a traditional breakfast that never turned up. Left without paying for tea and coffee as it was served luke warm. Shame as previously had good experience.[Aug 2019 5 stars] Niceatmosphere for breakfast. Good quality, tasty food. Excellent, friendly service. Would recommend and visit again.[May 2019 4 stars] Tasty breakfast. Friendly staff. Tiny bit overpriced.
I went with a couple of friends for breakfast at Bills. I have to say that although the food looked lovely we were a bit disappointed. My friend was half way through her breakfast when a waiter bought over a plate with black pudding on it because the chef just realised that he forgot to put it on her plate. I had the pancake stack, which looked lovely but only had a tiny bit of syrup on it, and the small amount of fruit on the plate was only enough for a couple of pancakes, so I left the remaining four. The place was very quiet and the staff were friendly.
Came in for a quick bite and the service was so slow baring in mind is was 1pm and the place was half empty! Parsnip and maple soup was a bowl of hot maple syrup with no flavour and I had macaroni that tasted like the cheap tinned stuff you’re forced to eat when you’re a kid. The whole meal was £23 and they had the cheek to add £2.93 service charge! Which I paid unknowingly! I always leave a tip where it’s deserved but this was not one of those occasions! I eat out a lot and on many occasions I have been here, I always leave feeling dissatisfied. Won’t be returning.
I eat out 2-3 times a week, I have ate from Moscow to Manila, Bills Camberley is the worst service I have had in a while. There was a customer to staff ratio of 1:1 and yet I still couldnt get any service! Anything I got I had to ask for, nothing was offered, I dont enjoy over up selling staff, but this was completely ignored. I failed to get dessert altogether, the( I assume manager just grabbed my main course plate and then left, no "will there be anything else?" No " would you like to see the dessert menu?" Just grab and go he did. So I sat there with an empty glass, empty coffee and wondered if I was actually invisible.
Super food, great vegetarian choices
Didnt enjoy breakfast at Bills. The sausage in the breakfast bap was quite tough and fried egg had a hard yolk. I had to ask our waiter twice for brown sauce by which time I had nearly finished my meal. Definitely style over substance and a bit pricey for the level of service and quality of food provided.
We came her for breakfast once After lockdown 3 and it was so darn delicious that we go almost weekly now. Eggs florentine are a must, the garden plate is pretty good. For anyone with a breakfast sweet tooth they do delicious pancakes with either bacon or fruit.
The service was great although food took a long time in coming due to a rambunctious hoard of Welsh women and their offspring. The staff - Sam was great, very polite, well spoken and interacted well with my autistic son. The remainder struggled to contain any semblance of restaurant etiquette throughout the remainder of the premises.
Really lovely food today and super prompt service. Would definitely recommend the chicken skewers for a light lunch and the steak and eggs looked amazing! Would like to see the lunch deal options also available as main menu items but it didnt affect our meal at all as we shared the pudding in the end
One of our first trips out since reopening from lockdown and we were nicely welcomed, had a good choice of searing, staff were polite and served our food in good time. Food was lovely and thanks for a good experience
Excellent as always: good food and a nice atmosphere and all at a reasonable price. Im a regular here and particularly like the fact that the veggies among us are always well catered for. The variety of the menu is great too - with different options all through the day for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. In short, an all-round winner!!
Helpful friendly staff. Food well cooked.Best halloumi burger Ive ever had. My two year old loved sausage, mash and peas.I left a coat by mistake and staff were very kind and helpful.
Food just okay. Used to be much better. Very young and inexperienced staff - the touchscreen till seemed to be far more interesting than any of the customers. We were constantly having to chase things like side plates and drinks in a restaurant with a only a few people in. Didnt give us the option to take the optional 10% service charge off the bill either. Wont be going back.
Really lovely sunday breakfast weve had. Delicious food and coffee ! Emma is so friendly and positive ! Top service ! 😉 Will definitely be back ...
Fantastic food for both lunch and dinner. They do the perfect burgers and steaks. By the way, they their Macha Latte is amazing! Atmosphere is great too. Highly recommend if youre looking to treat someone special.
Lovely and quirky. Brilliant food and the staff were wonderful. Highly recommended
Very happy with my visit this evening with my girlfriend and parents, as Id taken them out for dinner to celebrate their 52nd wedding anniversary.Wed ordered a couple of dishes that theyd sold out of, but the manager came straight over within a couple of minutes of the order to say theyd not got them. So we quickly made second choices and the food was delivered quickly and was delicious, (my girlfriend is a chef at a Michelin star restaurant and she was REALLY impressed with the quality)
Lunch. Service very slow. Waitress clearly didnt want to be there. Nobody asking if the food was OK. Food was good, but menu very limited. Choice of vegetables poor. No peas, beans, carrots, parsnips, cabbage. Then they have the cheek to include a 10% service charge. I could have refused to pay it, but when youre with company you dont really want to haggle. Given the poor service and limited menu I feel it is overpriced.
Yammmmy in Tammmmy, the breakfast was lovely its recommended place to have your breakfast in different places 😍😍😍
Bills is a great place for a good morning breakfast with delicious coffee. The service is outstanding with a welcoming smile. Definitely worth the visit, the pancakes were yumm!!!
Good food, good service 😊 cant complain!Burger was perfectly adequate but nothing to rave about. My two year old happily say and ate her Mac and cheese so it must have been good.Servers were all very polite and helpful, tables were clean as were the loos,
Went for breakfast with a friend on one Sunday morning. Perfect for a brunch. I went for breakfast with my little family on another. We have a four year old son. Food is lovely and good portions. Great atmosphere and reasonably priced. Bit more of a treat breakfast. Good variety of drinks too. Smoothies are lovely. They also sell Bills food - sweets in jars and other bit and bobs. Great souvenirs
Pleasant atmosphere, the staff were friendly and greeted us as soon as we entered, let us choose where to sit and took a drinks order straight away. Our food was great, my only criticism is the bacon was too crispy for my tastes. Everything else was fantastic. If weather permits, I highly recommend sitting outside.
