Contemporary European chain dishing up separate breakfast, afternoon tea, lunch and dinner menus.
We had a nice time, staff were lovely. place was very busy; food was quick. (You wont be singing and dancing but the food is nice.Kids enjoy it. We had a problem with our desert that did take a while but the staff were excellent and resolved the problem. Youll be very well looked after even at its busiest. Thank you staff!
Had my birthday evening meal there. The food was fabulous, chicken dumplings, seafood pasta and chocolate brownie. Lovely atmosphere. My The staff were really lovely and all came to sing happy birthday. Would strongly recommend it.
Burger is ordinary. Lobster Spaghetti is good.Duck salad is special. 12.5% service charge.
One of the best places in Bath that weve tried for breakfast. Lovely buttermilk pancakes and the Mediterranean breakfast was delicious also. Wish we had more time to try lunch. Maybe next time π. service was also fab... all staff are very friendly
Lovely visit this Saturday morning. Great food and great service. Many thanks.
Lovely warm welcome, nice vibe, amazing food and doesnβt take long from order to table. I just wish you could order 2 pancakes instead of 3.
Very attentive and helpful staff. All our food came quickly, was piping hot and all four of us cleaned our plates!! My friend who was with us is vegetarian and he was very impressed with how much choice he had from the menu. If Im back in Bath again this is where Ill eat π
Great service and the restaurant has a nice buzz to it. Plenty of space inside too.Starters and desert was superb, but the steak for main was rather average. The rest of the mains in our party were good.I would definitely go again, but not for the steak.
Canβt go wrong with a Bills! Always something for everyone. Really enjoyed my Malfy gin and tonic and the dirty vegan burger. Really cozy corner booth for the four of us, staff were all lovely too!
We were wandering around Bath on a Friday morning, looking for the right place for a good English breakfast after our holiday in Italy, when we walked past Bills. The interior looked busy and inviting, always a good sign. The menu had everything we were looking for at the right prices. We were made welcome and given a choice of tables - not a common thing. The food came quickly and was superb. Everything a traditional breakfast should be: runny eggs, crispy bacon and meaty sausage, with tasty mushrooms and tomato. Ive got to stop, my mouth is watering again.Thank you to everyone at Bills in Bath for restoring my faith in the Great British Breakfast.
Stayed in Bath for a weekend and ended up having breakfast here several times as we had such a good experience.Staff were all very friendly, food was tasty and the prices were reasonable.Would happily recommend to anyone looking for a good breakfast in Bath
I oder summer menu ! Very good price , service is amazing ! Food is soo delicious ππ₯³π
Brilliant place to eat. They were able to cater for gluten and wheat free. We went for breakfast and the pancake stack was amazing. 5 was probably enormous, and we took the rest we couldnt eat away. Perhaps well order 3 next time. Drinks were amazing and the attention to detail superb. Staff were very friendly and attentive.
Beautiful decor, and lovely for photos. Very much enjoyed our visit here. The staff are lovely and welcoming. We ordered some burgers and pasta, and they were all so perfectly cooked. The meat of their burgers are luscious, and the pastas are very tasty.I definitely enjoyed the little cookies we got as well to take away. We would definitely visit again when we return to Bath!
Terrific place to eat and have a drink. The menu is really interesting and the food delicious. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend a visit !!!
We had a lunch in there on Saturday and got the seats without booking- bonus! The food was okay, but the service was a bit of a mess. We have been attended by 4 waiters in total, each of them looking kind of lost. We ordered medium and well-done burgers, we got them raw instead of medium and medium instead of well-done. They were tasty, but not exactly what we ordered. It is sad to see that a restaurant with a great potential has a staff that is simply not trained enough.
Overall great food and lovely restaurant. Only lost a star due to 12.5% tip being expected, which we personally like to choose ourselves.
A brilliant selection of seasonal delicious food- both vegetarian and meat eater friendly. It was so hard to choose! Its a great space with colourful and comfortable furniture, and the friendly servers made us feel so welcome and looked after with their attentiveness and menu knowledge.
Great food and very friendly staff. The cocktails were very refreshing.
As we arrived, we were greeted and escorted to our table. Service was quick, food was delicious and the vibes were really nice. We had a cosy little place and felt great. Staff were very attentive and patient too. We were there for a long time and didnt once feel rushed, we were constantly being looked after throughout our visit. Thank you very much!
Bills Big Brunch managed to cover most of the basic food groups and set me up for a day of sight-seeing in Bath. Recommended to all lovers of the "full-english".
Good place to get a bite to eat. Loved the Special of the day a BBQ burger π Place gets busy would recommend checking with waiter how the food is coming along. I recommend that because on our visit the waitress 100% forgot to place our order. I thank her for letting us know so we were prepared for the extended wait. This did make us late for our next appointment but would not stop us from a return visit. She did try her best to bring extra food and drinks πΈ to the table without us asking to make up for the wait.
Really nice food ,impeccable serving, Adam was great. Probably be back tomorrow for breakfast
Reliable chain of restaurants with delicious food.I have been a customer of Bills for a while and decided to try it in Bath when I was visiting. I went there for lunch and was impressed with the service and food quality.I have ordered chicken with egg on the top and must admit they have done an excellent job with a simple dish. The chicken was tender, in a crunchy coating. Their starter-fried calamari is one of the best I have ever tried. It was crispy, not dry, with a nice spicy twist. My partners hamburger was juicy and full of flavours, and the fries were fresh with a unique seasoning - rosemary salt. I would recommend trying their refresher juice with cucumber and ginger.
Very pleasant experience. Attentive, polite, very prompt staff, quick service despite being busy, delightful food, reasonably priced. Crazy to think this used to be the Early Learning Centre where I bought so many toys for my young lads, over a decade ago! Definitely a much nicer use of the space and now even more happy memories here. Will go again for sure.
Really tasty breakfast, lots of options and plenty for those who dont eat meat or dairy. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and really attentive to everyones needs. Highly recommend
Absolutely superb breakfast and coffee. Top quality service and ambiance. We enjoyed our food and the way traditional breakfast has evolved that way came back for a delicious late lunch of Gin and Brownies.Highest quality. Recommended..David Saunders
I ordered a Mediterranean breakfast that came with poached eggs. The flatbread was quite hard and dry and the eggs undercooked. I sent them back as the egg whites were slimy, and, although the staff were helpful to replace them quickly, I was frankly put off by the first lot and didnt eat much of the breakfast. The pot of tea was a little weak as it only had one teabag in. And the cup that came with it was not particularly clean. My hubby ordered a smoothie which tastes Exactly like Innocent smoothie and an English breakfast which was okay.Lastly, when given the bill, it had a service charge added on which we asked to be take off as we were not overly happy with the food. I think this was a little cheeky as may not be noticed by everyone and they do not ask if you want to pay this or not.Overall, lovely staff and quite a nice location/restaurant but the food and hygiene needs a little work.
I wouldnt bother with this one, plenty of other places to eat in Bath. Our service was really good but the food was very disappointing. Our tuna tacos came out on stale tortilla chips, andas someone who rarely does this, we had to send them back - also tortilla pieces do not make a taco. The name of this dish is misleading even if the description kind of explains what it is.
Had breakfast today (12/06at Billβs in Bath. Our Waitress Natalie was one of the loveliest waitressβ I have experienced in any dining experience. I am not one to write reviews but Natalie did such a good job that I wanted to publicly praise her. Food was lovely too (as usual!)
First time visiting this restaurant. The decor inside is quite beautiful. We asked for the set menu and had to wait like 10 minutes for it, only to be told that there is only 1 menu and we needed to share it. I do not understand why only 1 set menu was available. The restaurant was not full so they cannot possibly say that everyone was ordering from the same menu and hence limited availability. The food took a while to come out but was very tasty .Half way through our meal, a waitress just randomly put a candle onto the table. Found it a bit rude as we were talking and felt rudly interrupted maybe being more courteous and just informing diners that youll place the candle there might be more appropriate it was not even late to say it was required. It was all before 5pm.
I was really impressed with my experience here, the friendly waitress was attentive but not pushy and the food was great. The location and decor are also positives, I would highly recommend a visit here.
The food was great! I had crab bites for starters which was heavenly and chicken burger for main. The price was a little steep for what you get but this is typical in Bath restaurants. Very busy and luckily we booked, but we still had to queue for a little bit even with a booking. Its very popular. The staff were very friendly! I wouldnt say this place is totally wheelchair friendly due to small doors getting in and the small walkways between tables but there is a disabled toilet on the ground floor.
Mediocre, and disappointing.Ordered a large breakfast.(large was debatable!)The extra items to sustitute the beans and tomatoes werent added.(so not largeand top it off it tge food was cold!My added gripe is 12 % was added as a service charge. This should be (and always used to bean option the customer makes either via the debit card machine or change on the receipt tray. Alot of restaurants are sneaking this in now to bills. We wont bother with Bills again, very hyped up, and expensive.Missed being rated 1 star as the service was good and we were compensated.
My first visit to Bills and it did not disappoint! The Mediterranean Breakfast was so fresh and full of flavour. It was quite busy, but had a really nice atmosphere, the staff were very friendly and our food came out quickly, will definitely be returning.
Had lunch here on our day trip tour to Bath. Tuna avo tacos, seabass florentine, meatballs. The best was the sea bass. Super fresh and well pan-fried. Very flavorful and flakey. Even the potatoes were great. Not oily and still remained crispy.
Popped in for a late breakfast, no need to book. Lovely friendly staff, speedy service and good food. Freshly squeezed orange juice is amazing. Quirky industrial decor and outside seating available.
My wife and I visited Bills Bath for lunch yesterday. The decor and service were excellent and the food arrived promptly. I had a burger which was quite tasty but the bun was dry and not fresh. I ended up leaving most of the bun and ate the burger without it.The 2nd issue is a pet peeve of mine. Why does a business with double entry doors only unlock one? This was the case at Bills. On arrival I pulled on the right side door and it was locked. No "use other door" sign. Frankly you feel somewhat foolish when this happens and you have a 50% chance of falling for it. Our table was near the doors and we witnessed numerous customers arriving and leaving with the same experience. Why not open both doors as intended rather than frustrating guests?
The meal was OK. We chose a Valentines set meal (weekend before the daywhich was good but we made the mistake of providing our selections for all three courses. We felt as though they couldnt get us out quickly enough - the mains arrived just before we finished our starters and we had to ask to be given some time to rest before dessert - even then it arrived unasked for.
My wife and I were looking for a great English place to have our last dinner in Britain before heading back to Texas in the morning. Bills Bath caught our attention and did not disappoint. We had a delightful meal. The staff are attentive and engaging. We tried their carrot cake doughnuts... Wow! What a fun and unique dessert! Great place!
A fantastic evenings meal to draw birthday celebrations to a close. Service was excellent, drinks were fantastic and the food was to die for. Went with the veggie/vegan route tonight and was not disappointed. The cauliflower wings defy explanation, the halloumi fries are divine. The dirty vegan burger was just perfect - upgrade to the truffle cheese fries, your body will love you for it - and desert, apple and mincemeat crumble, was a joy from beginning to end. Great night, great food. Thank you too the team for making it such a wonderful experience.
Good food, good pricing. Service is the best Iβve seen in quite a while. Place was packed and the staff managed to accommodate our large group with no reservation. Very friendly, got all our orders correct (including substitutions). All came out pretty fast and at the same time, no errors.Again was impressed with the staff, they were running around everywhere and managing to stay on top of it and be friendly even though there was only about 3 or 4 of them front of house and the place was completely full.
I and my colleagues went here for breakfast and the food here is absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a nice English breakfast in Bath this is the right place for you. I ordered the healthier version of breakfast (see the picturebut they are serving the classic one as well. Billβs restaurant well done.π
Good food, excellent and accommodating service. It really feels like the signature Bills. We were seated quickly, our server Millie gave us exceptional service and made it a unique experience. Well done Millie! There are few places Ive been where the steak is cooked how I ordered (medium-rare on this occasionand I was pleasantly surprised! Millie and the manager both ensured our food was allergy free and that is definately worth noting. The starter of tuna tacos was large for a starter and would have been nice to have another slice of seared tuna or two for the price.Me and my partner both had a lovely experience and I would recommend everyone to come to Bills!
Wanted a special breakfast to start the day of of our 10th wedding anniversary and this fit the bill perfectly. Yes, it is a little pricey, but the good was delicious, the service was friendly and the decor was that little bit extra. Thank you!
It was okay. I ordered the steak with medium rare but it almost well done and too tough to eat. But the chips and juice were good.
Food for superb, calamari starter a must, bills flowerpot pudding a big surprise. Staff are friendly and attentive. Will be back next time in Bath ππ
Loved the experience here. The restaurant has a very intimate atmosphere π. The staff was very friendly to us too. Best Passion fruit Spritz Ive had in a while π
Very good burger and avo salad. Tasty and decent portions. Drinks however were poor, the Apperol spritz was terrible but management very quickly replaced it with another drink, so full marks on that front. All in all, it still comes recommend.
Really yummy. Went here for breakfast with my finance. He had the traditional breakfast, he didnt like the mushrooms as they were minging and he had to ask for butter for his toast, but apart from that he enjoyed it. I had pancakes with bacon and fruit. It was so so good. I was stuffed after. Delicious. Definitely would have that again. Youre charged a service charge on the receipt, which is a bit cheeky as Id prefer to choose how much I would like to tip the waiter/waitress. Nice place to go though.
