The perfect Venue for Sports lovers,With the Biggest Screen available in town has no competition when it comes to live Football, F1, UFC fights and so on.On top of it it has a great selection of alcohol and beers on tap.As a plus few games available to play with friends.

The Looks &.appearance of the place on the outside are definitely deceiving to the eye as I found out during my 1st visit here today.The place inside was empty about 12.30 ish & blasting out loud music so loud I was turning around to leave when the chap behind the bar told me it was only on cos nobody was here & offered to turn it off which he did & increase the volume for the football commentary which was showing the Fulham v Liverpool game ,which Id originally called into watch. Inside it was nice n bright & spacious with wooden flooring ,a clean establishment with different seating areas having different sizes of TVs to view sporting events including a large projector screen.The staff service at the small bar was very informative & pleasant when purchasing drinks.Other customers did start to come in afterwards &from my experience here today even though Im not local ,I wouldnt hesitate to return back in the future when visiting Oakham,infact I would recommend a visit for a change instead of the run of the mill witherspoon pubs .

Went here yesterday to watch the rugby on sky sports and was very impressed. Quite quiet and can’t compete with Wetherspoons prices which is next door but the cocktails made were lovely and the cider very reasonably priced

For what Oakham has to offer, its a pretty decent little nightclub. Little bit sad that it closed half an hour early even though the night was booming but it did have a decent variety of music all night.

So much more than a nightclub, more like a good fun community place! I will definitely use it now more as a bar during the day to chill out with air-conditioning, good vibes, really clean, good service and best prices. I met there yesterday with people to practice Spanish at 6.30pm and we loved it! Thank you.

Great place to watch todays rugby England v Barbarians not many rugby fans in Oakham today, but barman is brilliant, so really enjoyable

Quality place, excellent bar man, non locals welcomeAlso,Jeff has quite the twisted view of Bills which almost certainly extends to the rest of his life. Bills is a welcoming bar for all not just those with a delusional sense off grandeur which belongs at best to Georgian Britain.

Should be a nice place to watch sport. Some of the crowd that use this place to get out of their faces and generally abusive spoil any atmosphere. More of a junior ranks club for special needs children than pub really. Needs reinventing or should have the decency of fading away. There is no way I could recommend anyone with a normal level of intelligence to visit this place. However, if some come from a broken home and an ex industrial part of the UK where there isnt any work so you joined the army with right wing views, very little education and mild PTSD from the weekend you spent in a tent on Dartmoor, you may just love Bill Bar because it will provide an environment where you can mix with like minded young people just as confused about how to behave in public.

Been in a few times and follow on facebook as do a variety of gins and have a huge TV for sports. However, went in today to watch rugby, and even though the bar was pretty empty, we were completley blanked by the bar staff who was too interested in chatting to a couple of regulars at the end of the bar. After about 5 mins, another customer came in who he then went to serve instead of us till we spoke up. He then served us, but we got no please or thankyou from him, and pretty much a filthy look for even speaking. I have heard people say they have had the same problem about the staff but i have havent had this treatment till now. As a local and regular to this bar I was pretty annoyed. Lets just say wont be going back in the future and I have unfollowed on Facebook.

It is what it is. A "nightclub" in Oakham. Much improved since the take over, but not for the over 30s.

Cool place music of your choice friendly staff low priced drinks

Excellent little bar which takes over as a night club, open mic nights on a Wed night is excellent entertainment for all walks of life if you want to play an instrument or sing your heart out, a lot of extremely talented musicians frequent the bar and a good night to be had by all, this bar is well worth a visit, excellent beer and superb and polite service. Well and worthily recommended.

Its an ever changing feast! Is it a bird, is it a plane, is it a live music venue, is it a bar is it a pub, is it a club, is it a table tennis tournament? You guessed it, its all those things!!! This bar really is alive and kicking, always fun, and always up to something new and exciting (Oh yes, and always open and tempting for a late night drink...eeek!)...
