Bílá věž in Hradec Kralove

A view tower directly in the historic center of Hradec Kralove. Payment needed to access it, but worth of it - the view from the top is beautiful. Only thing spoiling it is the fact that for whatever reason the main square below is filled with parked cars.

Bílá věž was recently restored and is worth visiting not just for the views of the city from the conservation deck, but as a demonstration of beautiful contemporary "small architecture" - the staircase and the railings are very chic.The dramatic lighting and moody music may be a little campy, but why not. There is also a light installation of the model of the tower and multimedia panels with historical information.

With a little bit of money you can have a little trip on the history of the tower and the city as well as a great view on the top. Quite memorable is the miniature of the tower, made of completely out of glass.

Beautifully renovated with great view over Hradec Kralove.

Not expensive at all to go up in the tower, and very much worth the view! Its just beautiful at the top.There are many stairs to the top and no lift to assist you, but its a good climb if you are able! There are things to read and see on the way up and down as well. So you learn a little history while youre there.Comming down was a bit challenging for my fear of heights, since you can see through parts of the stairs and see a long way down haha. Enjoy!

I have been coming to Hradec Kralove for years for business and never had a chance to visit this tower partly because it was under renovation for quite some time.The tower is in the middle of the 11th century town square. It was lovingly and expertly restored into a worthy attraction.The view at the top is breathtaking, you can see the town of Hradec Kralove and surrounding areas laid out beautifully in a 360-degree panorama. On the way up the tower you will see th the bell and the cleverly restored platforms, a lot of thoughts went into the design of this place. A thoroughly enjoyable visit.

They write recently renovated it on the inside and have made the tower a much better place to go visit! The interactive touchscreens to help you learn as you climb, youll feel much more educated on the tower by the tone you leave and as it has the highest vantage point of the city theres great views

This is a must experience for anyone visiting Hradec Králóve. Dont worry about the long climb. The ascent is peppered with digital displays explaining the significance of the site and its history.The view from the top is stunning, of course, but keep an eye out for the LED light detailed crystal replica of the tower that rests in the buildings base.

Best 360-degrees viewing spot in Hradec Kralove. The tower is nicely renovated with a great combination of the old and the new.

Beautiful tower after great reconstruction, beautiful view - and you can even book sunrise and night tours. There are interactive boards inside the tower with information about the culture in the city and its history, tasks and puzzles, and also a beautiful glass model of the tower. Lots of stairs there, including newly built "flying" construction (so if you hate to see under your feet, keep this in mind), pretty steep but safe.

Beautiful sight, especially after the reconstruction the interior is very nice. I loved the view and screens that show photos from around 100 years ago and new photos in comparison. Glass model is nice as well, but not the main thing I would come to see.
