Hands down, the best dining experience I had in Prague. Our waiter was very welcoming and attentive. I had snails and lamb while my companion chose steak tartare and a steak. With a bottle of wine and water it came up to around 100 euros for the evening which was absolutely fair. The food was expertly prepared and delicious. Will definitely come back when Im next in Prague.
Its bigger on the inside. An interesting cusr sib Terranian restaurant with an extensive menu of fine meats.Its not inexpensive but reasonable priced menu items are plentiful or you can go for the very high end.No wrong choices here.
Loved everything about this place. The arrival is great. You enter a cozy wooden enviroment and got greeted by the host right away. We were very tired so just got a main course, but we stayed for dessert. Service 9 food 9.
Fantastic tenderloin steak, potato gratin, grill beans, and elderberry lemonade. Youd better make a reservation. Otherwise its hard to secure a seat.
All of the meat service was perfect. They have home made Czech wines. I would say their red wines are too acidic and spicy.
Probably one of the best restaurants weve been to, amazing food for affordable prices. Cant recommend enough!
Nice steak, good wine. We arrived late so were in a hurry to still manage to order food. Some fruit flies inside that werent a really pleasant experience.
I searched and found this restaurant on google for steakhouse. It was rated very high and we were sent back one evening for no reservation.We went back couple of days later for lunch, it was almost empty, only 2 other tables were occupied.The place was over rated, we took the expensive platter which also had the wagyu as well, but it was not as expected, very ordinary quality, and hard meat.I wouldn’t go here again.

Great atmosphere but you need to book if youre going for dinner as it was fully booked days ahead. So we went for lunch time without booking needed.Friendly staff and good service.Perfectly cooked steaks.Good value for money.We really enjoyed the spider veal steak and Onglet.The dry aged entercote was good but didnt taste very dry aged to me.The Czech wagyu was flavourful but cant be compared to Japanese wagyu.Overall good experience, i went there again for seconds.Dont forget to try the creme brulee

We had amazing dinner here. We followed the suggestion of the waitress and it was right on spot of what we craved for. Their Tatarak was great, steak amazing, side dished heavenly. Service was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely visit again soon!

I have been here many times over the years and it remains one of my favourite restaurants in Prague. Excellent food and service with very fair pricing. Just be aware that you probably will need to make a reservation, especially during peak times. I highly recommend the Filet de Boadorais.
The food here is fantastic. A little of the main tourist track but well worth the effort.
10/10 I only have good things to say about this wonderful, intimate restaurant. We were shown to a lovely table by the host. The food and wine were amazing, service was excellent and we thought it was really good value for money.I had steak and my husband had beef bourguignon, both delicious with nice sides too.Definitely worth a visit if youre in Prague.
Best steak house in Prague! Beef is very soft and delicious. Staff is very friendly. We had a very pleasant experience here and definitely will come back again!
Really nice Czech restaurant for meat lovers. Everything we ordered was enjoyed to the fullest including side dishes. Spinach side dish and oven baked potato recipe were excellent.

Oh no. Even given the waiter (owner?spoke perfect English, it was a horrible miscommunication all along. He forgot twice what I ordered. Then he forgot the modifications we discussed (including his proper suggestions). Never asked whether I liked it, although I had to leave a lot on the plate - so, I didnt get a chance to give him my polite feedback.
I like the service and the place but the food is average
The service, chef and staff is awesome! They where so kind to prepare a vegan menu for me. Not only did it taste very good, but it looked great as well. Nothing to complain at all. The place to go when you are in Prague!
SETTING: Everything is very tight - literally feeling you are sitting on top of each other in terms of table setting, thus there is pretty much non private atmosphere and you can listen to entire restaurants discussions, so it is loud. Toilet paper of cheapest quality in the bathroom + cheapest plastic toilet seats (it might seem like irrelevant part, but it just gives you the 0 attention to detail vibe and it conflicts with the "upper scale" restaurant marketing).FOOD: The steaks were cooked to perfection - 5 out of 5. Steak quality was not good - if you compare it to USDA prime beef. If compared to Prague steaks - its probably the better meat compared to average restaurant offer, but worse than fine steakhouses or premium restaurants.SERVICE: Generally service was good, but our initial waiter/greeter wasnt really an expert in international names of particular cuts and didnt know the expert level details on nutrition difference of these cuts. Instead of trying to verify details or clarify, he had a bit of passive aggressive "I know it better" vibe. Our general waiter lady for the rest of the night was impeccable.WINE: Wine selection was very good, very well curated pairing. 5 out of 5.Verdict: not horrible, but definitely a big room for improvement. Would not return.
Small and very cozy restaurant that surprised me with the quality of food and service.Service was very pleasant, nice and attentive. I asked for recommendation and I got this amazing piece of sirloin steak that was juicy and super tender. Wine and desert selection was great, but not amazing. However I was more than satisfied and would definitely come back for great meat!

Wow. This is a restaurant that I will always miss.We stayed 3 nights in Prague, and ate here 2 of them, due to their perfect onion soup (the best I ever tasted worldwide), entrecote and potatoes pure. The wines were delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.Next time Im in Prague- I will definitely be there again.
I can only recommend the restaurant! The food and the service was more than brilliant!We had a lot odifferent of starters and the onion soup was really really good !The quality of the steaks was really great and the taste was unbelivable!At the end we had the Home-made curd ice cream with hot raspberriesprepared directly at your table using liquid nitrogen (-196°C)And this was like a small highlight!!
Great meat dishes nicely prepared and laid on your plate! This place was definitely best choice for us this time in Prague. Also loved the interior and concept. On top of that, very reasonable prices. One remark only, you shall order side dish separately and personnel might not remind you on that.

The steakhouse is cozy and was half-empty on Wednesday noon. The waiter was pleasant and friendly but somewhat distracted (brought us someone elses order). I had a rib eye steak (entrecot - vysoký roštěnecand felt a bit underwhelmed with the cut quality. The 10oz (300gsteak was thin (1/2inbut cooked correctly (medium rare). However, a third of it was mostly connective tissue and tough to chew.Compared to steaks Ive had elsewhere (1 1/4 inch and no connective tissuethis was nothing to write home about.I had high expectations but can only give 3 stars for a B-rated and overpriced steak.

After researching hundreds of restaurants in Prague, which all had extremely overpriced set menus for New Years Eve, my boyfriend and I found this place and were absolutely amazed.It is a hidden gem, the best steak ever and super nice staff that was very professional. Reasonable prices. Will definitely come back!Book a table in advance!

We tried coming the day before after reading some reviews but they were fully booked. Its a small and cosy traditional looking restaurant so you will definitely need to book in advance. Impeccable and perfectly timed service.We ordered the homemade lemonade which was lovely and not too sweet. Great value in a very large jug each.We didnt order any starters as we wanted to try the recommended desserts after.For our mains we ordered the 200g fillet with a side of creamy spinach and Belgian fries. The portions were enough and the steak was cooked to perfection.Highly recommend the homemade curd fruit icecream which was made on our table for quite an immersive experience. Wowed by other diners around us.We would have loved to come here again if we had a longer stay.Thank you for an unforgettable experience. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
We ate beef tenderloin with Belgian french fries. The beef was super tender and accompanied by a delicious sauce. The sauce was soft but still giving a delicious taste.For desserts we asked a super tasty chocolate fondant serves with berries. We also asked home made ice cream with fresh fruit. Not only was homemade but it was done in front of us. We looked amazed how the waiter was creating the ice cream with liquid nitrogen. The result served with a delicious fruit gel was just amazing.In this restaurant not only the serve a delicious food but also the staff is super professional and nice.The prices are very fair for foods quality.100% recommended
We liked this place - had a nice rabbit leg and beef bouvignon. Definitely enjoyed it. The menu really focuses on meat / steak as the name suggests, but Id have appreciated more non-steak options. They served a super nice complimentary starter - beet root & mayo spread and breat. During lunch time on working day it wasnt very busy, there were only tourists.
This place had amazing reviews, but I found the actual place a bit random. Why? The food was clearly french but very meat heavy, most wines were Czech and the interior was also very Czech, while the groups of people were super international. Fun mix though! Good kick off for our night.
Amazing steak with loads of flavour. But slighly too chewy for me. Nice starter and dessert as well. Good apple cider. Go early or book reservations as it gets busy.
I’ve been here too many times to count and I always have a lovely experience. The service staff aren’t exactly warm and friendly but they get the job done.The food is always excellent and consistent and the prices are reasonable. Of the appetizers I’ve enjoyed the escargot which is good but not spectacular and the beef tartare which I enjoyed a lot. Of their winter menu I’ve also had the lamb liver which I felt was a bit over cooked and the figs that accompanied it were bitter so I might give that a miss.Of the entrees I always have the Filet with Foie Gras. Rare is best because medium rare can be a bit over cooked at the edges. The foie gras is exquisitely cooked and melts in your mouth and the steak is just delicious. Of the sides the potato gratin is spectacular.Would definitely come back again the next time I’m in town.
One of the best steak ever!!! So juicy and tender, I was amazed the second I bit the meat. Escargots are a must-order also, gosh so good I wish I could have it again now...seafood soup also perfectly done.Definitely book a table before you go!
Very delicious food. Especially if you want to enjoy a yummy piece of meat. It was cooked medium rare, exactly how I ordered it. Also the side dish and the sauces were very tasty.If you want to go there in the evening, you need to reserve upfront. They were fully booked for the whole next week in the evening, so I went there for lunch.
Amazing place :The atmosphere is romantic and fit only a few tables, the service is very nice and polite - a service that you only get from someone doing it with passion. We ordered goose liver fate that was great. Also a Filet that was done beautifully and Onglet cut that was handled perfectly to a good medium. I can Recommend!I would definitely visit again if Im in town.Tip: be sure to make a reservation or else you will not find a free table be chance.

Nice place, with good service and tasty steaks. Make a reservation in advance. Usually it is fully booked several days ahead. Prices are little high but it is still worth the gastronomique experience.
The steaks are amazing, but still affordable. Ambience is neat and quiet, but not too posh. Staff very friendly and helpful. The french styling is great, very natural and authentic. Not too forced like in some restaurants. You can feel the spirit of Burgundy inside. Recommended for a romantic dinner. P.S. the liquid nitrogen cooled fresh ice cream (prepared directly at your tableis tasty and interesting to watch at the same time.
Excellent place, cheap and tasty.A pre-order is recommended, theyre usually busy.They have crazy seasoned garlic butter and you can ask for a refill for the bread.Raspberry lemonade is good too.And the meat comes with souces that add a lot! And their service is on top.A must go! Enjoy (:
