You have to try this place while you are in Kutaisi! We loved the simplicity and the atmosphere. You go in, a get a Georgian Kebab with a with a huge piece of bread and a beer in seconds, go to a standing table, finish it and continue sightseeing.

Very nice food, although only kebab is on menu - but very delicious. Try to speak Georgian if you can. Owner doesnt like to speak Russian and he gives you bigger portion of kebab if you try to sound local ;)

Affordable, friendly, historical place serving delicious Georgian kebabs only. Alcohol or lemonade drinks are offered but you can bring your own drinks. Bread is amazing freshly made here. Tomato sauce you can choose to put on top of kebabs or in a glass like tomato juice. After long travel from Tbilisi to Batumi it is a perfect quick stop for lunch in Kutaisi. Located in the center and easy to find. This place made me happy ☺️

A casual place where you can get a kebab and a soft drink for 7 lari. The kebabs are very yummy and have a nice smell of spices.

Great menu in that you can only choose two options - the kebab with a soda or a kebab with a beer. Standing only. People are in and out of this place within 10-15 minutes. A must visit for those who are not vegetarian or vegan.

If you dont know that this place has a great history, you can think that this is a place to drink :But its a cafe with the only dish in its menu: very delicious spicy kebabs. We came there in the morning with our bags before leaving Kutaisi, and we were the only foreigners there. The staff is very pleasant. Recommend for visiting.

AWESOME! Dont get fooled by the dark, spartanic interior or the grumpy owner. The kebab (Adana styleand bread and beer for 8 GEL is just godlike. Spicy, fresh, sizzling hot, and just the right amount of crunchy. You wont regret it.

Ive been there one year ago. One of the best kebab tried during whole trip through Georgia. This place is a must when you stay in Kutaisi. Good price, good place, local food. Hope will have another chance to eat here.

A very particular place, but certainly a true local restaurant. It will offer you only one dish, and you wont find chairs to sit down - only a table hanging from the wall, where you can eat your meal. Certainly a different experience. The kebab was delicious.

Simple, delicious, cheap. Beer and bread come with your meal. Two Meat kebabs and nicely spicy adjika sauce with onions and parsley. Stand at a counter to eat. Youll be sharing the place with the local men... And they know where the best places to eat are!

Love love love! As my partner says: "Just the fact that this place exists makes me happy".Walking through the doors, you literally step back in time. Lit.er.all.y. Definitely not misusing this word.As far as we could tell (with our shakey Georgian alphabet skills), they only serve kebab with fresh bread and various drink combos. Its perfect. After taking our halting order, the owner plonked a plate on the counter. A sea of aromatic tomato-y (slightly and awesomely spicysauce surrounded two kebab islands (the best islandsseparated by a friendly wall of chopped parsley and onions. The owner then handed us half a loaf of freshly baked bread before we moved to a standing table sort of set up and dug in to our tucker and realised its the best meal weve had in Kutaisi. And it was only 8 lari with 2 drinks... Whuuuuutttt....!It felt like we were old miner folk downing a hard earned meal after a long day underground. Which is startling as we arent frequent miners and wed only worked up a sweat by pottering about the citys attractions like the tourists we are. But thats how powerful the ambience is. For real. Get in there and get amongst it! Unless youre a vegetarian or vegan. Or gluten intolerant. Or standing intolerant. Or nostalgia intolerant. Then this isnt for you.

The concept of this kebabery is so simple yet really cool. You can get kebab+bread+beer/georgian lemonade for 7 Lari and this is the only meal they have, but it is what makes this place special. What is more, you have to stand while eating since there is no chair.

Went there twice in 2 days. Females, dont be scared to eat there! Its mainly men in there and you can only stand but for 7 lari (includes 2 kebabs, bread, and beer or lemonade), its completely worth it. Just dont accidentally leave since you dont pay until you finish eating.

The best known place in kutaisi. Everyone knows this kababery and as people say it has the same taste as in the time when a person named Bikenti founded this place. The sauce is also very tasty. There are baking also both white and black bread which is called in georgia bukhanka bread.P.S They have also other georgian traditional dishes, but this place is well known with their kababi.
