Bijrani Zone Corbett National Park - National park in Bāzpur, India
Scam safari, this 130 Kilometer jungle and the safari run 12 Kilometer out side of jungle ,you see only deer and monkeys for your 5000 rs safari , they show you tiger Foot print and tiger scratches on tree ,thats quite funny,, enjoy nature only in 2 and half hour safari ,thats all
The national park is one of the best part about the region. Its has a myriad variety of flora and fauna. The mystic beauty of the forest, is extremely captivating and relaxing. I myself being a nature lover, was fully enthralled with its beauty and extravagant greens.Surely recommend visiting it atleast once in your life time.
The Best Jone after Dhikala
Good one, much scenic .. enjoyed the safari.. don’t epect the tigers here..it’s great to see that a wolf hunting young deer baby.. Hou will see good numbers of deer with different species..
Entire safari is an awesome experience, even if you dont manage to see tigers.
I dont like this zone
Bijrani Restro in Bijrani Zone Jim Corbett National Park Ramnagar Uttarakhand , awesome restro showcasing jim Corbett national park animals and tasty food too to eat and good service..👌✌️❤️💚😊
Nice place to enjoy wild life, and see wild animals.
Beautiful zone!! Tiger spotting is all about luck and timings!! The jungle is beautiful, I would suggest to enjoy the nature and spot other animals as well!! You can see peacock, variety of deers, jackals, elephants and alot of beautiful birds (tiger if lucky;))
Best zone
We went in January - a month where animals dont come out looking for water or sun as often as they do in summers. As a result, even in an area known for Tiger sightings (along with Dhikala), we didnt see one. We came close though, as indicated by tiger paw marks. But we were nonetheless grateful to have this experience to go amidst the wild and experience the pure raw jungle and its fresh air. Its a reminder of what forests mean to the planet.
Nice zone amongst all the zones
Most popular zone after DhikalaYou can find healthy population of wild animals. Main benefit of this zone is you will get longest safari then any other zone/part of Jim Corbett National park. And more safari track compare then other zone. Night stay facilities is also available. In night stay this is unique because of stay options, if you are single then 1 bed room is available and if you are in group 4 bed room also available and dbl sharing room to hai hi. Aise options na dhikala me hai ma jhirna or dhela me.
Nice resort with serene surrounding warm staff helpful with very tasty food n whatever u like Safari from compound at bank of river n deers inside
Elephant sighting was spectacular, specially the one in which it was trying to play the protector and shooing all of us in our safari jeeps away.
If you planning to visit corbett to see tiger then dont visit brijrani , please visit dhikala. Even dancing elephant was moved to other zone. You will feel like off roading trip in Maruti zypsy. You can see dear, monkeys , eagle but not tiger. its better to go straight to dhikala then to waste your money.
Amazing forest. Paradise for wildlife lovers.
This is one of the most picturesque jungles I have seen. We went for a morning safari in early February and while we did not spot much, the guide made it special by sharing a lot of knowledge. The break point is mid-way (about 7 kms from the gateand is well maintained. You can enjoy some tea and snacks. Even spot the sunrise. You can get a decent pair of binoculars for 100 bucks (theyll quote 200, you can get it for 100 or less). The guide fee is Rs 700 across all gates.
They say its all luck but i personally feel tigers are actually kept in dhikala zone only . We could only see deers , Langurs , Monkeys. This is a big zone but no tiger found.
Bijrani is also a good choice after dhikala
Good place to see wildlife and mother nature
We were not much sure about the spotting of the tiger , but were lucky enough to have a glimpse of the young tiger. Also we were able to spot the kingfisher bird , eagle ,wild boars & deers. Bijrani zone is one of the best zone to spot the tigers as I have tried others zone but never had a luck of spotting a tiger.
Nice lokation, big and clean rooms. for stay. Nice cantine.
One of the best places in Corbett Nation Park.
Good nature view but DONT EXPECT TOO MUCH AND DONT THINK TOO MUCH ABOUT TIGER BECAUSE ALMOST 95% TOURISTS CANT SEE TIGER. THIS IS ONLY BECAUSE HUMAN INTERFERENCE IS TOO HIGH THERE. BUT IF YOU WANT TO SEE OR FEEL NATURE THEN GO AHEAD. YOU WILL FIND THE LOVELY NATURE VIEWS IN BIJRANI ZONE IN FACT ANIMALS SEEN IS RARE NOW IN ALL ZONES YOU CAN SEE EASILY JUST MONKEYS & DEERS. SO IF YOU LOVE THE NATURE THEN GO AHEAD & JUST SEE TIGER AT YOUR NEAR BY ZOO.
One of the best places to sight the tiger in the whole world.
very good location for different bird watching , elephant, tigers and leaopard etc.
If you don’t have booking of dhikala FRH then this is better option
Its useless. Pls dont waste your money going here as you will see no animals except monkeys, cows and 2 hens . If your main focus is tiger, elephant ,deer, theres none here. I just went today and just saw trees and plants and 3monkeys and 2hens and 50 cows.Pls dont waste your money going here and here is nothing except jungle and theres no nearer attractions except jeep and jungle safaris .
Beautiful place. Probably the best place to see a Royal Bengal tiger during day. Density of wild animals such as spotted deer, hog deer, sambhar, tigers etc is extremely high in this zone of Corbett national Park as compared to other zones. If someone is looking for a day Safari, then bijrani zone is better than dhikala zone of Corbett tiger reserve.
A very adventurous track, chances of encountering a tiger are high. The preferred time is early in th morning around 6 am. Remember to carry your IDs when going for a safari as you wont be allowed to enter.
Bijrani zone is one of the 4 zones in Jim Corbett National Park most preferred zone is Dhikala because of the fact that Dhikala alone is a territory of 50 tigers so chance of spotting a tiger in dhikala zone are much high.Other wise bijrani zone is beautiful, dense and known for spotting tuskers and big cats both. In the recent years tiger count is increasing rapidly in bijrani zone as well We booked our safari online for Bijrani Zone it was for 4800 and 6 people are allowed in one gypsy excluding driver and forest guide. Entrance gate is Aamdanda which has buffer zone of 5 KM and than core zone starts. While we were completing paper work on checkpoint at around 4:PM suddenly people started shouting tiger tiger tiger and there he was king of the jungle crossing the trail our starting was magnificent. This zone has mesmerising views of the amazing landscape the chances of tiger spotting in this zone is similar as dhikala because of its vast grass landscape known as chaurs. In the beginning we spotted elephants, black bears, different types of deer like chital, sambhar etc. While we were gazing elephants having bath in the pond biggest of them run towards us may to scare us and run us away it was damn scary as we can only move backward as there was no where to go. Than finally elephant stopped and we remained silent for almost 10-15 min and than our driver drove off the gypsy as fast as he can.Our driver told us tigers are lazy and they do not attach humans but elephants are dangerous in the forest they will chase you also it is not allowed to get off the gypsy. Our safari ends at 7 PM those 3 hours were amazing, exciting, adventurous and scary and forest was not silent every second you could hear something happening around. Must visit place
A morning safari through the forest, grassland... will remember for a long time.Booking opened just about 30 days before my planned date, booked on online booking facility of Corbett. Booking is only for entry to the park (~1100 for 2 adults, 1 child of 10 yrs). One need to book the jeep separately (we had our resort arrange one for us - ~2200 from gate to gate [Amdanda gate close to Ramnagar], you’ll have to reach the gate on your own, or you may ask the jeep to pick you up from your resort at an extra charge). You’ll also have to pay the guide Rs.600.Morning safari starts from 6:30, you should be out at the back by 9/9:10.Didn’t manage to get a glimpse of the king, but that did not matter much. Saw many many deers, sambhar, peacock, wild boars, countless birds...A restroom is there to use at the Amdanda gate, also there is one inside the park, where we reached at around 7:20 or so.No interpretation center or souvenir shop inside, you’ll find some shops just outside the Amdanda gate or at Ramnagar. There’s one museum and small souvenir shop at Dhikuli, which is entry gate for Dhikala zone, few kilometers northwards.
Amazing place very good forest, Awesome view points in forest and I see the tinger and beby and dear sometimes I feel in this Forest my mini house.some one suggested me you no go you go West money and time I told this type thing people. I suggested one time you go you see this Forest so next time be go.
This is best place for tiger lovers
The Bijrani zone is not any lesser when it comes to the spectacular natural view or the catching a glimpse of the king of the Corbett forest, the royal Bengal tiger. This zone is the most popular zone after the Dhikala zone and the most visited zone by the day safari tourists. Enriched with the eye-catching landscape, this zone is known for its tranquil and serene ambiance inside the forest. A wide range of wildlife species found in this region is what makes it a unique zone in the Corbett. With the large Grasslands, thick Sal forest and various water streams, the topography of the Bijrani zone is also as attractive as the Dhikala zone. Along with the enchanting view, this zone also boasts of having a large number of the tigers making it a best tiger sighting zone.
Very big and has lot of water bodies for tiger sighting
Superb Experience.... jungle safari was fun. Well connected and well maintained roads to reach Jim Corbett National Park. For jungle safari book your permit in advance for any of the Entry Gate and reach the boarding point on time. You can book the permit and morning or evening safari well in advance.Good resorts around the Corbett National Park to stay.Keep the jungle clean
Awesome place for vacation n saw wild animals ....
Bijrani rest house is located inside the Bijrani zone. It is a wonderful place to stay. Bijrani zone is good place to see Tigers Elephants deers lots of Birds too.
Nice zone for wild photography
Nice place to visit... Jungle safari...
Good place for tiger sight and nature sight
Nice environment. Enjoyed the track. Do not expect tiger sighting.
Good, but as even the guide says, Dhikala is better
Rich unspoilt forest with limited public facilities like restrooms. Tiger 🐅 sightings are not common in winter months and sometimes you only see deers. Tiger sightings are better during summer. The forest per se is very beautiful, more beautiful than the other zones in Corbett
Brilliant safari. Great forest.
Good location for Tiger sighting...... Rich with wildlife
Best zone for sighting tigers ...😺
One of the most famous zone of Corbett National Park. The chances of tiger sighting are very high here. This zone is very good for bird watchers also. A healthy forest hence a healthy wildlife lives here.
