A Lobster Roll done right. Omg this place is so good. Another hidden gem in New Mexico. Amazing lobster. Amazing butter. Fries are crisp and so good. Cheese curds are amazing too. This place is amazing!

The food is pretty fantastic! My wife is addicted to the truffle fries, and I cant get enough of the fishermans plate. In Elephant Butte, youll settle for anything, but by some stroke of luck, Bigfoot is genuinely amazing! The owner/operator is a really nice guy who remembers your last conversation. I think hes even opened up patio seating now, so you dont necessarily have to get take-out. While were out-of-state, were craving us some Bigfoot!

Wonderful hidden gem of a restaurant here that unfortunately finds themselves in a poor location but we were looking for a good excuse to break up a long drive, and we found it.The food is fantastic!! Wonderful burgers and the rosemary fry’s are my new favorite French fry!!!They are having trouble getting enough help to open the dining room but we were able to order take out and eat in the awesome patio area.If you’re anywhere near this place make the detour and you won’t be disappointed!!

Reduced menu blows. But the ambience is way better. Beautiful outdoor dining. Food is excellent. But very limited selections now.

This place is awesome! Pet friendly. We tried the yeti burger, trois fromage, and cheese curds. The food blew us away! Also the place is very artistically decorated. Excellent ambience!

Great restaurant! Only doing take out orders - which is stated on their website - and that wasn’t a problem. They answered the phone when we called to order quickly and placing an order was easy. The food was ready at the time they provided and they were very friendly when we picked up! We ordered a Bandito burger and the old fashion burger both with fries. Both burgers and fries were hot and delicious! We would definitely eat at the Bigfoot Restaurant again! Highly recommended!

Best food in town! Each dish is done right, with sizeable portions that are very well priced.We always end up ordering more than we need and have never regretted it at all. Our future self always thanks us for being smart. This would be a 10/10 if it was an option.

Unfortunately we didnt get to dine as they shut their grill down over thirty minutes prior to their posted closing time. They were rude about it as well when we went in to order. Hmmm ... Where to eat now ?!!?

Just had a great, grilled, Green Chili Cheeseburger from Big Foot in Elephant Butte with whole green chilies, not the chopped stuff. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Beef Fried Rice as well! They are open for Take Out only right now due to the pandemic.

Wanted to get the lol mien noodles and they discontinued them, tried to get sweet and sour pork, discontinued, ended up getting orange chicken and it was bland and unseasoned, not even a hint of orange to it and the fried rice was tasteless too...very disappointed will probably not be returning

YUM!!!! Don’t miss that mango smoothie or their fabulous, diverse burgers. Lovingly and consciously operated- their compostable packaging makes all the difference.

Best food, best service, highly recommended. Staff is awesome! We love to eat there when all our family comes into town and they never disappoint!

So glad we found Bigfoot on our road trip! We were headed home and got so hungry, we tried out Bigfoot and Im really glad we did. Our order was 100% even though we had some changes (like no cheese, diff cheese). The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The person who took our order was super friendly, and even called us when the order was ready to pick up. I appreciated all of the Covid precautions. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!!

Bigfoot lobster roll was delicious, and Amber was very friendly! Liked that I was able to order via text messaging and order didn’t take too long to be ready.

First timers. We ordered Fried Cheese Curds and Fried Avocados via curbside pickup. Tasty! We will make the short trip off I-25 again to try more!

My husband and I seriously loved their food. We had a hamburger and we ordered a seafood platter. I have to say they serve a lot of food, but it was perfect because we were staying at Sierra Grande Lodge and we were able to finish the rest of our platter later on in the evening after our soaks . With everything closed down that platter came in very handy. Great prices as well. We will definitely go back.

I ordered the Lobster role with waffle fries. The lobster role was soggy and the meat was not good. My wife had the pub fish and chips, which was also disappointing due to lots of batter and little fish. Neither plate tasted good. We were disappointed after reading such rave reviews of both meals.

Vegan and vegetarian options were delicious, service was quick and friendly and prices are great! We ordered takeout while driving through on our way to El Paso and food was ready when they stated. We had the Good Earth burger (veganwith a sweet potato fries and the vegetarian stir fry combo (vegetarian - comes with egg); both were super delicious!

I love that you can sign up to text your order in. They text you to let you know your order is ready. When you sign up for text, you get notified of Monday specials. Our food is always delicious. They are very friendly. This is the Jackalope burger, minus some potatoes wedges!

Food was done pretty quickly, very easy text ordering. Friendly host, easy to pick up food. They closed the dining room and have a pickup window. Employees are wearing masks correctly, which is very much appreciated.For under $50 (not including tipwe got an Old Fashioned Burger, a California Club, a Philly Steak and Cheese, 2 orders of 4 potstickers appetizers each, and 3 drinks.The fries were a little bit cold, which isn’t my fault because I was waiting in the parking lot when the order fulfillment text came through. We tried the fries no more than 2 minutes later. Other than that it was a great experience.Thanks everyone!!

Awesome food. The burgers are huge, definitely made from scratch. I cant resist the egg rolls.The cheesesteak is to die for, fresh onions, peppers and mushrooms. Text in your order and enjoy your meal soon. We will go back over and over. You will not be disappointed.

Awesome 👍 place recently remodeled with excellent choice of fixtures, seating and lighting. The fish and chips are my favorite I also really enjoy their lo mein on their menu lo mein is soft noodles chow mein is crunchy noodles which is backwards from the rest of the world but its still excellent either way but their burgers are not to be overlooked they probably should have been number one in the state but the judges were all from Alamogordo so inevitably that lBurger joint over there won congratulations Ive eaten at both and in my opinion big foods Godzilla Burger crushes anyting on their menu anyways try Bigfoot if youre in elephant Butte you wont regret it also their microbrew selection is excellent as well

Went here based on previous reviews and was not disappointed. Fantastic food, prompt and personable service from our barkeep, Adam, and an overall cozy atmosphere. Had the steak and a burger which were savory and more than enough food to walk away full. Also started with the cheese curds...best decision in awhile. We will be returning here next time we are in the area.

They have remodeled and have a dog-friendly patio. The menu has been revamped and everything Ive tried is prepared with care and is delicious. They have a great selection of beer and some interesting local wine. (Havent tried it.The service is friendly and relaxed. We visit often while we are around the area during the winter.

This is a really nice little place. It has a wide menu with reasonable prices. They also have a nice selection of craft beers including some of New Mexicos own. They have some New Mexico wines too. Well worth checking out.

I was craving fried oysters, so here is the place to get them, they were perfect. Everyone was so nice and my husband had the Chinese sweet and sour pork and loved it. Highly recommend this wonderful place.

Everything tasted like it was bought in the clearance freezer section of the grocery store. If youre 80 years old and dont have any taste buds left, this might be the place for you. But still dont because I care about you. If you also want to leave hungrier than when you arrived, this is your place. The freshest thing Ive experienced was the lemon in the iced tea. The spring roll was still frozen in the middle and yet was squishy at the same time. Ignorance must be bliss here because the server was still sweet and he was friendly, props for the great attitude. This place should be like big foot and not exist. The best part of this trip was leaving.

This restraint has recently been renovated and looks amazing. It is a cozy place to eat and have some drinks. The Chinese food is very good. You can tell the food is made with great ingredients and is prepared fresh. I have eaten here several times and it will not disappoint!

Disappointed. Food was decent but portion was super small. Waitress was ok. We got to only select from the smaller menu due to our ‘group’ being too big 6 adults/4 kids. The group menu was definitely way too limited regardless. To top it off the actual group next to us which was a party of 8 that reserved a table got to select from the main menu not the pitiful ‘group’ menu.If you are going to have rules at least enforce them. Won’t be coming here again.Edit: Didn’t say I was ‘mad’, key word being ‘disappointed’. As stated above, enforce the rules if you have them. Pretty lame that the group next to us (which had 8 peoplegot to fully order from the main menu. The only exception you made was the orange chicken but that was for one person, everyone else including myself changed our options. As we don’t want to cause you any inconvenience due to your apparent lack of cooks/staff.Also quick tip, you may want to post something like that next time on your door that groups of 8 won’t be able to order from the main menu. You have no sign that states that anywhere not even on your website.But hey what do I know of customer service 😂. Stay professional, you’re passive aggressive response speaks volumes of what kind of owner you are.

Great little restaurant! The burgers are delicious and well made, the staff very friendly, and service prompt. The patio also accommodates dogs as well, with beds for them to boot!

Got some great food here today. I was greeted quickly by the lovely server and considering it was Mothers day and I wanted take out, I was served promptly.Great food, Great service, and a fair price. Thank you folks, you will see me again!

I thought the service was incredible! The food was good but I felt the portion was a little small. Im not entirely sure this place was originally intended to be a restaurant, but nonetheless, the food was good. I would have given 5 stars if the portion of meat on my sandwich matched the the name of the place or, if the restroom had been inside the building. Ill still go back next time Im in Elephant Butte.

Ive never been to a restaurant quite like this one. It may seem off putting that they serve Chinese and American food but its some of the best Chinese food Ive had! Very good burgers and sides as well. I highly recommend this place if youre in the area!

The crew here has always been lovely. We been here a long time and have seen this food truck move up up and up. Every time we show up it gets nicer. Good to see, we need our small town funky places to keep feeding us goodness. Get some local wines and a small but decent beer list. Cheese curds are the one! Never loose on a Burger..

Very very good food! Its been completely remodeled, the new dining area is not yet reflected on Google. Its a must see and a must eat dining experience.

Came here with my boyfriend, the fish was good but it sits very heavily the right plate could of been enough to share for both of us. The left plate was good too. I recommend ordering one plate for 2, unless you want to save the other plate for later. Food was good and service was ok.

I had the chicken stir fry and it was good! Im from Minnesota and used to go fishing a lot so the noodles looked like worms, but I got passed that and enjoyed the taste! Margarie was a great waitress! The cook gave our friend Blanca and all of us a serenade of a Beatles song! That was great!

Love this place, good enclosed outside area so the kids run around it there while we wait for food. Good beer selection, I always get Chinese food. Open on Sunday which is a plus! Laid back atmosphere, clean, welcoming environment.

I had the Yeti burger and it was fantastic. Everything was done perfectly. The service was great. The atmosphere what so laid back and comfortable. We loved it! Definitely two thumbs up and hopefully will get a chance to come back again!

You must consider the location, it may be anything from edible to good. Outdoor area in need of a cleaning but otherwise quite acceptable.
