Must go in Lucern! Beers were great and the team was friendly.Had the tasting flight with beers that were selected by the team. Somehow he read my mind on the selection.Loved the sweet potato fries! Will come back again to try the rest of the food and beer menu.Place was very nice, cozy and smoke-free. Great location by the lake too.

Fantastic beer offering with a great variety of beers, including high gravity and hard to find beers. Also, wonderful, helpful staff who are very knowledgeable about their beers. We’ll be back!!

The restaurant is nicely located at the promenade. They offer a very wide variety of beers and a solid selection of food especially burgers. I had a beer and a burger and was overall happy with the experience. Our server was quick and friendly.

Honestly, it is quite overrated. Fries and beers are good, some of the burgers are OK. However, their "Crispy Chicken Burger" for 28 CHF is made of a frozen, pressed meat patty (cost around 2 CHF, not a real chicken piece. When I mentioned this to the waitress she insisted that it is indeed chicken, and they know its good because no one complained so far (!). Right.If I want to eat nuggets, I go to McDonalds. However, I highly recommend to go to fork&bottle in Zurich for example, and see what is a real crispy chicken burger is made of (exactly the same price. I was quite disappointed in this place because it was quite promising a year ago.

We had a lovely lunch here upon arriving in Luzern. The wait staff were all very friendly and helpful. One waitress suggested some delicious drafts for the tasting paddle and the burger of the month was a fun and unique experience. It was such a great atmosphere that we returned later during our stay for late afternoon beers. You cant beat the location - good beer and friends!

Very nice to be with friends or in a couple. The burger and fries were good. Several draft beers. HOBO was very good. The Maracuja is like a juice.

Such a wonderful surprise! The beer are definitely awesome as expected but the burger is also just as perfect. I had the burger of the month. The bread is absolutely crispy and the chicken is so juicy. As for the beer I would say the pale ale was my favorite, very fruity. Also the stuffs are very friendly. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Super cute pub with a fun atmosphere! The staff is top notch and very friendly. Our one place that we frequented more than once on our holiday.

To be honest, the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. Obviously because it’s Switzerland you play a good amount of money for it. But you will also get quality food for it in return. It was so good that I couldn’t even make a picture of it 😁 o and for the Dutchies! The restaurant is runned by Dutch owners!

Nice beer selection and burger. Service took bit longer - 30minutes but it was worth the waiting.

Great burger and selection of beers! Got the flight and all 4 choices were delicious. It got quite warm inside with the kitchen active. But, other than that, it was an enjoyable experience!

Really loved this bar.I sat outside in the glorious sunshine right next to the river. My waiter suggested I try a pale ale which I did. She was incredibly friendly and bubbly and positive with every single customer. She made everyone feel welcome and attended to.I had a cheese burger to eat with chips and it was delicious! I really have got to recommend the cheese burger here.A couple more beers later and that was my lunch hour or two.Would definitely come back

Very tasty beer selection. Even tastier entrees. Right off the waterfront. I came hungry and finished off an entree plus a side and half an appetizer so portions are just right.The staff is very friendly and hussle like crazy. They take cash or card (Mastercard and also VISA).

Great beer selection of beer on tap and bottled beers. The burgers are great! Outdoor seating with a great view of the Kapellbrucke as well. Quick service, or stay a while and enjoy a few beers. Has lots of indoor seating as well. Accepts Apple Pay!

Unique burgers (recommend the Friends Burgerand local beers on tap. Got great recommendations from the staff. Upstairs was cozy and had a great view from the window.

Absolutely awesome place, staff, and owner. The location is gorgeous and the beers are well selected. The owner’s name escapes me at the moment (I was a bit tipsybut he and the gymnast bartender (doing splits in the picwere absolutely fantastic. Great down to earth folks. Not very often will I request a pic with the owner but had to capture the memory. I love you guys!

This place takes after its owner, just super cool. The whole staff was helpful and hilarious plus the beer selection was deep and delicious.

Maybe a bit expensive but worth every penny!Beer flights are a really nice touch, and the burgers are shockingly fantastic pair to any brew.I am from the states and have had many nice burgers, the ones served here are arguably the best.If the outdoor seats are full, see if any of the 2nd floor window tables are open. Good for people watching and views.

Busy on a Saturday night, lucky to get a table outside. Waitress was so friendly and helpful, good selection of beers.

Very nice! Huge selection of Swiss Beers, so very recommendable for tourists!Extremely hard to find a seat in good weather due to its amazing location.Food was great too, had a Hot Dog (which wouldnt be expected to be great, honestlythat tasted just awesome!Big shout-out to all employees, as they worked very hard and almost ran from table to table. Overall, great experience!

We visited recently for lunch and sampled some beers. What a lovely restaurant with fantastic staff. Vincent and his team do a fantastic job to ensure a great experience for the clients. We look forward to going back and highly recommend a visit.

If you want to taste swiss beer, thats the place to go. Several craft beers on tap and a few more in bottles. Bierliebe & Friends have the right drink for every taste. Last but not least, the staff is very friendly and helpful. A big plus!A place were you feel very welcome. Definitely a place you want to visit a second time or more.

Brewing is craftsmanship,Bierliebe & Friends is a great place to chill and relax after a hard days work. Or after a hard days relaxing? The beer is well cooled, freshly drawn up. Lots of other drinks, too, of course. There is a small but hearty menu of savouries and sweets to choose from.The place is inviting, with nooks and tables ideal for conversation, making it such a great place to visit with friends.Not so entirely ideal is the toilet situation. Okay-ish, I guess. Only one girls room.

The tasting menu is great. For the location good prices. I would wish for more beer variety or at least a bigger bottle selection if the things on tap are not of my taste, but hey thats just me

Awesome beer and awesome food! :They only serve swiss craft brews in a grear variety. The food always goes well with the beers on tap. I definitly recommend their burgers! They serve vegetarian burgers as well. Had a great time there! :)
