Bier:Thirty Bottle & Bistro - Microbrewery in Boise, United States
Professional and kind service, even with recent circumstances. Amazing selection of local micro beer (IPAand WINES, my to go place for me and the family for the last 5 years.
Great beer and food ...a must visit place!
Great food, great atmosphere, great beer/wine/cider/seltzer. We can walk here from our house and its downright dangerous.
Excellent tasty food specials always! In fact, every food weve ordered here has far exceeded our expectations. They have a great beer selection also
Great beer selection. Limited menu but very good. Nice local hangout. Well be back for sure.
Came here for food and drinks with two friends on a Saturday around 8:00 PM. The place is located in a hip-looking area and the establishment was nice and well maintained. Parking was easy as there (surprisinglyweren’t a lot of people around for a weekend.I’m not a beer aficionado, so I asked for a pale ale and was pleasantly surprised. The gentleman running the bar was helpful and knowledgeable. I also had a pulled pork sandwich with potato salad as the side. The sandwich was great, the potato salad good, but the beer sold the place. We stayed until closing (why so early?but weren’t hurried out the door. I would return if I found myself in Boise again.
Ride your bike, walk your dog (who is welcome outsideor walk on down to the best beer watering hole around. Great people, great food, great beer.
Went here today to have lunch with my bestie, I had the halloumi caprese, she had the Philly cheese steak and we got the jalapeno poppers too. We both LOVED it! This place was delicious and fast! Definitely coming back!
Great beer selection, with coolers. The food is awesome... Though I basically just get the bratwurst poutine all the time now.
I had an out of town guest that wanted to visit the local Tap House. I took him to Bier Thirty where we sat at the bar. Two young women were working behind the bar. I opened a tab and ordered a round. I asked to see a menu and the bar maid pointed to an area in front of her and had me fetch the menus myself as she continued to carry on a texting session on her phone. We finished our beer and waited for an offer to get another. We had to get up and wave our arms to get the attention of the still texting bar maid. After rolling her eyes she responded to my request for my guest and I to try the Cider. She rudely plopped one sample down for us both to share from the same glass. We got up and paid for our one round and left. Horrible service!!! Never again. We went across the street to the Tavern where we were met by friendly and professional staff who know how to treat their patrons. I’m going to the Tavern from now on when I’m patronizing businesses at Bown Crossing.
Great beer selection tasty food, knowledgeable and friendly staff, also good atmosphere. The brat poutine is awesome so are the poppers.
They served the bahn mi pork sandwich without cilantro. When I requested some, the server returned from the kitchen and said they could give me some but it was mixed with basil. I said ok and she brought me a tiny ramekin with a pinch of chopped cilantro and basil, and it became clear they were out of cilantro. Running out of ingredients is a part of the business, but dont serve entrees with 1/2 their main ingredients missing.... And if you do, just admit your error and comp me a beer or something. To be fair, Ive had a good experience with their food in the past.
Stopped on a whim. Nice selection to choose from, if like you food with a German flare this is good place. The daily special was duck andoui sausage wish I would have seen that before I sat down.I had the currywurst and found it very tastey. Along with a cider from local Merriweather cider a nice lunch with the hubs.
Came here for happy hour drinks and apps with coworkers on a Thursday. The appetizers and drinks were good. On tap they had a number of unique craft beers. The service was good even after it started to get busy. We had the halloumi caprese sandwich which was very tasty.
Excellent lunch. Its a bar-type atmosphere, but is way more than a bar. The food is fabulous, and they have a very good beer selection. We shared the Brussels sprouts and the bangers and mash (chorizo sausage and mashed sweet potatoes with cabbage). Very, very good. We will be back for sure.
Nice small place with awesome beers (biersand awesome food! A little out of the way, but totally worth it! Had their Philly-cheese and it was the best Ive ever had! Mmmm...
Best food I have eaten in Boise hands down. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of their dishes. I can’t say enough about how great it all tasted. Great proportions, very friendly staff, delicious beer and did I mention the food is exceptional!
Outstanding service, outstanding food/menu great bier. This is literally the best food I have eaten out......possibly ever. Amazing!
This is one of the greatest places in Boise! Get the goucho sandwich. Amazing and delicious selection of beers. Tremendous staff. Id go here every day if I could (Dont judge).
Great find!Casual environmentSuper friendly and informative servers/bartendersFun food with a fresh twist on German fare
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great food. Delicious beer! One of my personal favorite eateries in town.
We love this local brew pub in Bown Crossing. Such great beers and ciders on tap, in bottles and cans. Great food, too!
Good food and some of the brews are rotating. Its a good place near my place so its easy after work.Similar to brewers haven on Vista but no food there but theyve got a larger selection. Great bottle shop!
This is one of my favorite places to get great craft beer and food. The beer offerings rotate quickly due to the popularity of this great place. Try the steamers and the currywurst, two of my favorite dishes. They often have guest breweries in town so keep tabs.
Great beer selection. TVs all over for fans. Modest patio, but the people you meet out there are great. Menu is refreshingly unique and everything Ive tried has been good.
Always some great beers on tap but if none of those catch your eye you can grab from the coolers for a specialty beer. The Gaucho Chimichurri sandwich is my go too, such great food here.
Love the fact that this place has currywurst. I last had currywurst in Berlin and have been looking for a restaurant in the U.S. that has it. Portions are big and I probably should have ordered the half size. Great beer list.
This place is great! Quick friendly service, great beer/cider selections and their menu is creative and well crafted. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality.
Pretty decent food, actually. The wife, friends and I had the nachos and the soup of the day. Which was a jalapeño bleu cheese soup. (Very tasty!Atmosphere was good. Small and quaint with decent seating. I would go here again.
Great beer selection, yummy food (much better than bar food), and friendly staff! Also, a very laid-back neighborhood vibe where strangers become friends, and kids and dogs (on the patioare welcome. Our favorite local hangout!
This place has a great, diverse rotating tap selection with a cozy brewpub atmosphere. Theres a great cooler with tons of brews to take home with you or crack open on the spot.Bier Thirty is a bit limited by its size and can get awfully crowded awfully quick, but we cant hold that against them.Staff are friendly and helpful when navigating the selection and choosing your brew.Food is a dream come true for those who appreciate traditional brewpub fare that pairs wonderfully with well-crafted beer. Its not every day that a place like this can provide such awesome and delicious grub.
Very fun and cozy place to get drinks and visit with friends or watch a game. The food offered is very fun and tastes great. Very unique. I like the poutine and the german nachos were quite good. If your in the Bown Crossing area I would definately check it out.
Relaxing place for a beer and catching up with friends. Great selection on tap and wider selection available in cans and bottles. Small footprint overall with outdoor seating in season. Menu is also small with an emphasis on german-styled comfort foods. Easy to see from the road, street parking and lots are near by.
I really love the Georgetown Fresh Hop IPA they have on tap!!! The mussels and bread went great with the beer. The reason I did not give them a 5 star is they do not offer flights.
Genuine staff, great beers that are hard to find elsewhere, they support local, Dog friendly and a great, rotating German-influenced menu. Definitely worth a visit.
Great selection of beers & ciders in bottles and cans. Decent selection on tap. Absolutely delicious pretzel and cheese.
Bier:Thirty is a great place to enjoy great food and great beers. The atmosphere is fun and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Wont break the bank. Keep in mind the times you go in because after 4pm gets a bit crowded but the more the merrier. The potato salad is dang good too.Salud!
The best soft pretzels in the valley, flat out. A large beer selection including bottles and cans to choose from as well as a good tap list. The curry wurst is a must try dish.
Staff is awesome. Great selection of beer. The stuff on tap is always interesting and rotating. And the food is beyond delicious! 5 out of 5!
Good beer selection is about all I can say for this place. They got our order wrong and when we alerted them to this, they asked if we wanted it remade, as though there was a possibility we didnt... ? We had already paid. Then they proceeded to ask why we wanted it remade, was it because of an allergy? Why does this matter? We want it made the way we ordered it because thats how we ordered it. We wont be back.
Great beer and food.But... they close pretty early and their beer has slowly been climbing in price. Expect $20 for 3 beers on tap including tip.
Great craft beer selection and rotating taps. The staff is friendly. The food options are unique and great tasting. I am a big fan of the Poutine.
Bier: Thirty is a must visit spot for craft beer enthusiasts. They have consistently great selection of both draft and bottled craft beer as well as an amazing menu that will suprise the foodie in all of us. Come down, order a brew, have the Gaucho Chimichurri or Banh Mi, and enjoy the atmosphere. Youll thank me for it.
Nice selection of regional beers in bottles which you can purchase and drink on-site with seating inside & out. They also have a few tap handles for draft beer which seems to rotate regularly. Also known to have semi-regular tap takeover/beer tasting events. Prices are slightly higher than average, likely to accommodate what I can only expect are astronomical commercial lease rates in Bown Crossing. If you like beer, definitely a good place to get familiar with!
I found this place while looking for a place to meet some people from this side of town for a lunch meeting. When we arrived the bartender was friendly, but there was no one else in the place. The menu was very limited and since we were on a working lunch we did not order any beers. We ordered the cheese steak sandwich and it was one of the best I have ever had. I will be back some evening when I can try some of their amazing selection of beers.
Nice location and pretty good beer and food selection. However, the service is BAD. It is not the servers fault. It is the service model, which is self-serve. You have to go to the counter to order, every single time. This is a bottleneck as there is one cash register and only one person there, generally, to wait on people. This results in a line of people waiting to order a beer or food. Ive seen several people end up leaving because the line is slow moving and gets long quick.
Bier:Thirtys my favorite "local." Wether youre looking to entertain an out-of-town guest for a taste of Boise, or stop by with the family after a ride down the Greenbelt, Bier:Thirty has something for everyone. The beer taps change frequently, so I never get bored of the selection, particularly with the range of spectacular local and far-flung brands and styles out there. Yet, theres always a style on hand for every palate. And the pub-style food is delicious (the Currywurst is my favorite). My kids always look forward to the the soda selection. Finally, when the sun is out, its refreshing to grab a seat on the patio, people watch and get in a dose of vitamin D.
delicious food (vegan options available), fantastic beer/cider selection (wine by the glass too), solid service, and a great vibe at the establishment. the biggest bummer is that this place isnt walking distance from my house.
I must say that Bier Thirty somewhere manages to get quite a few rare beers that cannot be found in the Treasure Valley and anywhere in Idaho. Im really not sure how they do it. I cant really say much about the food, never had anything except for beer. Their prices are fair and are comparable to other craft beer places. Keep up the good work guys and Ill keep coming back. Really good bottle selection for the Treasure Valley.
Heres what you need to know.1. Beer - Largely overpriced, especially the few Macros like Sam Adams.2. Internet - Useless. They apparently are hyper sensitive and have a ridiculous filter on the Wi-Fi so you literally cant even check your email on your phone or tablet, etc.3. Food - Good if you want to gain some weight I suppose. Tasty, but terrible for you.4. Atmosphere - Its sort of like a "box" with a few chairs and a TV inside. They havent even put in any rugs or anything so the echoes are really loud on a busy night. Major turn off on that point. All in all....More beer choices than a supermarket, but be prepared to pay for it. Most annoying (for me anywayswas the Internet filtering nonsense. Guests just want to be able to check some things, read some sites, check email. No need for stupid filtering. All that does is annoy a guest (former guest)...can you tell? :-)
