Very nice water falls in jharkhand (Bhatinda)

I went here during off season so it wasnt crowded. This place is a spectacular spot for photography. During winter it is crowded with people and winter fair happens.Car parking is available so you can park your vehicles here.If you are looking for a weekend trip near Kolkata, this place is perfect for you. It will take an hour to reach here from Dhanbad Railway station.

Bhatinda water fall in the way of Damodar river...Which is located in the highway of Dhanbad - Bokaro,from this highway bypass near WEST JHARIYA REGION, MUNIDIH, here is gate for the way.Here very big picnic spot for people, seating area is made like umbrella concept home.Park and garden for childrenAlso here a temple for people.Glamorous view you see here. And you enjoy with your family and friends.Disappointed by road there is bad road way..

It is nice weekend gateway tour for people who live in jaharkhand and West Bengal border area it is 14 km from Dhanbad Railway station..Roads are good , few place has potholes and road to the waterfall is narrow and through jungle ..you might witness peacock and peahens on the way to waterfall..not much options for food .Parking is availableToilets is available

The falls is at its best in the monsoon. It is not a big one but the beauty is uncomparable. The road towards the falls is in very bad condition.

People from West Bengal and adjacent States can have a mesmerizing experience here. Ive visited in the monsoon and the landscape was breathtaking.

I loved this place especially when it was observed in dizzling rain and the view of the entire valley was simply mesmerising. It is easily accessible by road and there is a parking charge of Rs. 50/- only. No shop found nearby, bring your own food. Wear non-slippery footwears or walk bare foot as the stones near the falls are very slippery. One thing as a tourist I would like to request every single person reading this review not to use plastic bag, bottle or any object in this kind of beautiful places spoiling its beauty and the countrys name, be responsible. Keep touring ✌️

We visited this place to enjoy the waterscape in the rainy season. The beauty is opening up layer by layer. Bhatinda waterfalls used to be a perfect picnic spot for many enthusiasts. We have visited after covering Topchachi, however the falls is located just 14 km away from Dhanbad railhead. It provides a captivating sight to the nature lovers and is nestled amongst the greenery and the rugged hillocks. There is no entry fee - no camera charge for Bhatinda Falls. But for parking they charge 100 for our bus. The falls are lined by huge rocky boulders. The cascading waterfalls instill a sense of serenity and a melancholic charm. This place gives the opportunity to experience tranquility and peaceful surroundings. Though this place is famous for picnic purpose, however, there are also other travelers who prefer to visit over here to experience the beauty of nature.

Very beautiful place for spending times

From Govindpore to Topchanchi, then Bhatinda falls with greens.

Amazing waterfalls.The best part of the falls is that there is no restriction on getting inside water.The falls is very wide, hence water pressure isnt very much. You can easily get inside falls to take bath, and enjoy. There is a changing room as well (if your clothes get wet).Dont worry about car parking, there is plenty of space.

Tickets not required.. wonderful view.. I gave 4star because on the way to bhatinda falls there is no restaurant to eat & also the road is not good..

Nice place to visit. But its dangerous to go into water so take care of yourself. Every year accidents happen there and many people lost their life so keep these things in mind. Enjoy there from some distance away from edge.

It is a good place to enjoy for picnic. We have visited there & enjoy to much. There is nice waterfalls area is neat and clean. Road is narrow but easy to reach there. Parking is available. Children activities are also available.

Good place for a weekend day tour. Its very risky to take a shower. Rocks underneath the water are very sleepy.But the place is very beautiful, and the water is almost clean.Do visit in winters. December is the best time.Car/bike parking is available. No toilet available. Wont get any food...

Place is very beautiful and peace. It will give you sukoon to your inner heart at that place.The care taker of that place were taking parking charge for visiting that place who have come with public transport such as auto which is not parked in the parking.

Hot picnic place,, pay visit at morning or evening time,, last 7 km journey from highway is little hactic,, but the waterfall is a treat for eyes ... good place for kids too,, requires more maintenance,, less shops nearby, hence bring food & water as much as possible

Disgusting. Very bad place. No plantation or shed. will burn in heat. The stream water is totally output of some industry. Its smeely and warm. Lack the properties of natural stream water. Very very bad smell and fumes coming from water. Never ever go to this place. Humans have destroyed the natural water source.

Very nice place located near Dhanbad. Wonderful waterfalls. If you go by car then you have to pay parking fees i.e. 50 ₹. No other entry fees is needed. But need to very careful because there are slippery surface. You may slipped and hurt yourself. Please dont take any intoxication before going there. Otherwise very nice place for hang out with friends.

Lovely place amids the hustle and bustle of city life. Jharkhand Government should put stress on renovation and beautification of the area followed by maitainance of the area surrounding the falls. The access road should be repaired and tourism should be promoted in the area.

Beautiful and serene. Waterfall in layers along with the cut rocks. Rocks being cut by water adds scene to the place. Stupid tourists have made the place already dirty. Request you to not litter garbage there. Suitable for picnic.

Marvelous picnic spot around Dhanbad/ Bokaro. Very clean and fun filled.

Some cleaning and construction was happening when i went there.... And still... Very dirty place due to new year picnics... Yes it is a good to go place with family or friends... But its not that clean. If youre going with kids... Always keep them in mind... Dont let them play alone. It little dangerous place too.

It is best place to enjoy waterfall view & refresh yourself here but it needs to clean more. You cant buy more food items here. So therefore it is average place for hiking in Jharia. You can also took your camera for taking photos.
