Very good aquarium I will again definitely after some years all month everybody should come here he is or she is children young boy or girl old man and woman everybody should come here they will enjoy this aquarium because hundreds of fishes and their details also students will have to come here they will got very much knowledge about fishes and that will help for their future and also they know about how sea life is so I am saying again you all have to come here I would love to camera again and again and again so goodbye for today we will meet again when you sliding and reading some reviews

Lovely place to visit

Good place to visit. Lots of information related to species is available near display.However, not worth entry fee of 30rs/person. There should be enough space near display for kids to stay and do mounting/take notes or other field work.

Not very unique species...

120 + species of fishes found in Ranchi ormanjhi national park and many wild animal like tiger , elephant,peacock lion ,and small animals are here I love this place and we rnjoy a lot I clicked many memories and I feel very proud to be born in Ranchi ... Total park is spread in large area I m not able to explore totally even we are here till 5pm evening ..Im very excited to visit this park again ..I highly recommend every people of india ..

You will get to see species you might have never seen in other aquarium parks, also temperature inside is slightly cooler without ac because of aquariums water, must visit in summers after visiting zoo

Located in quiet and calm area. Different variety of fishes are available. Aquariums are well maintained and clean. Cleanliness is maintained. Itz a place where one can visit with family members. The only demerit is there is no food stall available but it wont bother because maximum time one can spent is approx 45mins-1hr.

Good collection of aquatic species. However, Need some maintenance. Kids really enjoy. Best part is banners depicting detailed information on fish and its purpose of keeping aquarium.

Wonderful place to visit. It is situated just opposite to ranchi zoo. Collection of fish is very unique.

Itd okay to visit with kids. Some of the fishes was dead, you can see the dead fishes as well, as it was not taken properly.

A wonderful experience and it was raining the day we visited it so it was all the more beautiful. Doesnt have any sharks though 😒

A good place to visit with kids, although keeping expectations lower is better. The aquariums are kept nicely & clean, however the collection of fishes are not great, around 70% of them could be found at your nearest aquarium shops. However if you havent visited once, you can surely make a visit. Basic amenities like toilet is present.

Ranchi Aquarium is a part of the Bhagwan Birsa Zoological Garden. It is located on left side of the road if you are going from Ranchi city just opposite to Zoo gate. Entry fee is applicable. It is one of the best aquarium in eastern India. Variety of fishes are displayed here live in the aquarium.

If you are an ardent fish lover, visit Ranchi’s Bhagwan Birsa Biological Park, popularly known as Birsa zoo, where India’s one of the ‘largest’ aquariums has been coming up, which will showcase more than 1,600 fishes of 120 varieties.Chief minister Raghubar Das will open the city’s much-awaited aquarium for public viewing on June 28. “Built at an estimated cost of Rs 3.64 crore and spread over an area of 936 square metre, the aquarium will have fishes of both exotic and indigenous varieties,” said zoo director Ashok Kumar, adding, besides Indian breeds, rare and popular fish species have also been brought to the zoo aquarium from Bangkok, Malaysia and Singapore.

A very beautiful aquarium... Soo many species are found here.. A week maintained, beautiful and quiet place. The only demerit is you cant have any food options..

A good aquarium but its pretty small and have no cafeteria....

This is a shortest area. There are a lot of fishes 🐠🐋🐟. We can spend some time and fresh 🍃💦our mood.
