Beyond Burger in Texas City

While visiting some friends in the Houston area of Texas, they took us to Beyond Burger. The food was delicious. I will definitely make this a place to eat in the future.

The first time I went to this place I order a grill chicken salad which was huge and so delicious. Then I went back again I order on line another chicken salad and decided to order a burger and fries it was also a huge burger and the fries were great it was worth the price. The place is very clean and cozy and the employees are very friendly.

Alright first off I owe Beyond Burger an apology for pre judging them. I honestly thought, having done no research or nothing, that they served fake beef burgers. Since I thought that I swore I would never eat there. I was dead wrong!My fam was in town and we were looking for a place to eat since our go to was closed. My dad suggested this place and I said “no they serve fake beef” he looked it up and was like no they don’t. I said well okay then let’s try it.The burger was awesome! I got 1 whole pound of quality BEEF, on a fresh bun toasted bun that they bake every day. You can build your own. They serve kind of a crinkle cut wedge fry witch was pretty good. They have some options for the yuppies and children if you need that sorta thing.They have a very cool inside too. All sorts of things up on the wall and hanging from the ceiling from sports, to racing, to classic drive in type decorations. This is a very cool place.10/10 going back for another. I do recommend a name change. Just google beyond burger and you can see why.

Absolutely delicious. I wasnt in the mood for a burger, so I ordered The pompano chicken sandwich. Holy cow! It was HUGE! The chicken was so render and juicy. The sweet potato fries were fabulous. My husband had the bacon cheese burger and raved about it.

Order and pay for your food at the counter. There is a condiments bar so you can add lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo etc. to your burger or sandwich. If you miss the old Fuddruckers you will like this place.

A really good burger place, not fast food. Great options, Bison, salmon and chicken in addition to BEEF.

What can I say? This is the oasis of burgerdom in the Texas City area. Great food, fast service, and a fun atmosphere. Come on down and get you some!

Getting waited on was fast, helpful, and friendly.Wasn,t very many places to choose to sit since half of the dining room was closed.Table was sticky, wiped it down with a baby wipe and the wipe was black after wiping it.Food was NOT what it used to be.. over-cooked, salty and just not the greatest for what was paid.Stomps wouldve been a better choice for a burger... just saying.

Wonderful burgers! I got the bacon cheddar burger and it was delicious! Not priced too high either, very reasonable.

Well.. The burger itself had no flavor until i put the mayo on it.The fixings bar was the best part of the experience. Not worth the price in my opinion. Not sure of I will give it another chance. The order taker was borderline rude.

Milkshake was fantastic burger was just ok. I ordered the chili burger, it was prepared well I just didn’t care for the combination.

I have been to several different burger joints in Houston while working and this place is absolutely one of the best. Flavor is point! Everything was perfect!

Best burgers hands down anywhere! Passing through from Galveston going back to Austin. Decided to try it based on reviews. So glad we did. Huge, delicious burgers, fresh buttery buns, crispy high quality bacon. The prices can’t be beat either. Ordering online for pick up was fast and everything worked well. The employees we friendly when I went in to grab my order, also!

Home made hamburger buns and they are delicious. The owners are super friendly and the staff is always cheerful. The food is soooooo good. We drive about 45 minutes to eat here when there are many other options closer to home. We do this because the food is so worth the drive.

This is one of the best burger places on the gulf coast. I have tried a variety of burgers here and have yet to be disappointed. The owner turned me on to putting an egg on my burger and I havent looked back ever since. Totally took my taste buds to a whole other level. Speaking of the owners. They are super cool and friendly guys. Staff is always helpful in my decision making on which burger I will try that day. This time I said what the hell and got myself the meaty mile high burger. Bacon,smoked sausage, ham, and half pound beef pattie. You can get a bigger Patty if you want I chose to stay with what it came with. I added the egg and blue cheese and it was huge and delicious. Come try them out. They also have other items besides burgers but I havent made it that side of the menu yet. If this helps hit the thumbs up.

Nice, clean environment. Service quick and easy. Food very good, burger very good size. Will eat here again.

Been wanting to go there for a while, but today I went for the first time. This place is legit!! I had just a basic burger. No frills, just to see what they could do. They were on point.The burger came out perfectly cooked. Juicy and flavorful on a grilled bun. Then you go to the fixins bar to dress out your burger. Everything was good and fresh. And the onion rings are hand battered and fried. Not a frozen product. Same for the sweet potato fries.Next time, Kobe burger!!

We have dined in and have placed orders ahead online. Burgers always great, the fries could use some love. With our pick up order they offered to put all of the toppings on the side and even offered an extra box if we wanted to add our own. Its quickly become on of our favorite burger places. Highly recommend.

Excellent burger joint. Reminds me of old Fuddruckers. Construction off I45 coming Galveston, better map it.

Pretty good food, the chili cheese fries were excellent. The burger and chopped steak were ok, needed more seasoning imo. But overall good food

A little difficult to find with limited signage on the outside but once you get inside, the burgers were amazing. Staff was friendly and portions were plentiful. Would come back again!!

My party went here for lunch. I got a salad and it was quite tasty. I would highly recommend to order one of them, my party members were considering going back at another point to order one. One reason for three stars is several of the tables in the dining area were covered and if they werent then the tables werent clean. Another reason is a whole section was closed which prevented people from going over there.

The wife and I were visiting the Texas City Galveston area. I wanted a hamburger but I just didnt want the usual fast food type burger. My wife found this place and the Google reviews look great so we gave it a whirl. The Google reviews are on point. This place was fantastic the staff is friendly the hamburger was cooked perfectly juicy with lots of flavor. I dont live in the immediate area. But even with gas prices the way they are. I can see myself driving 50 miles one way 100 miles round trip just to come to Texas City to eat at this burger joint again it is that good. Im looking forward the bringing my kids back and letting them experience this place.

to be honest, i dont understand why it has 4.5 stars… only good thing here is they have local burgers… but they not that tasty guys… idk what kinda taste it is.. just it is local something different burger but not so good …. whataburger might be better …

The bread was amazing. The burger was good quality. I like the dress it yourself topping selection. The fries were a big disappointment, They tasted not fresh but frozen.

Worth the drive! We drove from Kemah to try the burgers and so glad we did. Loved our burgers and customer service. Super clean as well. Highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back again soon.

Ive eaten here for years and I can honestly say they serve the best burgers I have ever had. Their buns are especially delicious and perfect every time. Their shakes are also fantastic and highly recommended! I always tell everyone visiting the area to go to Beyond Burger, Im proud to have such a great restaurant in the Texas City / La Marque area.

My family and I came here and it was some of (if notTHE best burgers we’ve ever had! Even kid approved. We also enjoyed looking at all of the decor while waiting. The only thing we didn’t enjoy were the fries but I can’t take a star for that when it’s just personal preference.

Overall the burger was delicious.I liked how they have the "salad bar" so you can add your lettuce, tomatoes, pickles etc to your liking.

The burgers werent bad, but VERY overpriced for what we got.. $58 for 3 burger/fries/drinks and 2 kids chicken tenders

I tried the plant based patty. It was actually quite flavorful. I have never had a pb patty with garbanzo beans in it. I think it’s made in house. I have not found one like it. The condiments and toppings are set up like a salad bar. You add them at the end. Some stuff looked fresh. I just took it home and made portobello buns so I don’t know how the actual buns tasted. Oreo shake was good. Wish they had a dairy free option. The togo/cashiers girl was nice and did a good job. I was confused on how to get my order because I never heard my name called but you just ask the guys at the order window. I didn’t realize there are two doors. The door facing the highway is the entrance.

Fabulous! Burgers were cooked perfectly, buns were crispy and soft at the same time, toppings were fresh and crunchy, and fries were hot. Everything you could ask for.

Had the Kobe burger and Bacon cheddar. Good and big portion. Get the sweet potato fries. Interior is really nice and they have Tekken 2 and pac man arcade games! 1 full meal with drink and sides is $15ish dollars. U can customize ir own burger!

This place has very well made burgers. And its great quality without being over priced. I completely thank who ever decided that putting an entire half of avocado was the correct thing to do vs a few slices. It really adds to the character and cleanliness of eating a burger(of you have avocado). The meat is good and the condiments are good. The decor is amazing throughout the entire establishment. Its unique with the vintage collectable. The customer service is nice as well. Too bad they dont have any special sauces that they can call their own but for me there is nothing to complain About

Started having cravings and was quite happy their dine in was open during this whole pandemic. They of course made a lot of arrangements for distancing, so on and so forth. They didn’t have the variety of sauces that they normally would, mainly just the vegetables but that was alright. Overall still enjoyed the food just like always. Fresh buns and 1/2 lb. meat, can’t go wrong with that.

Ordered the Baja burger. It came with half an avocado! It was amazing! Burger was not greasy. Im not a big burger eater but would absolutely come back here every time Im in town.

This place is amazing. And really wonder how I never knew about this place.I had the Kobe Beef burger, didnt pay a fortune for it, and it was great.My only regret is only now learning about this place...

Awesome burger selections at this Texas City restaurant. My wife and I had the Kobe burger, my daughter had the Turkey burger, with cream cheese, and Avocado. All were delicious. The fixing bar has plenty of toppings to choose from. We will be back.

Nothing to make me go back. Overpriced for the taste and serving size. We literally only got 20 french fries what you see is what I was served. They also serve veggie burgers

Beyond Burger is a great restaurant that has a large variety to choose from. I tried the vegan burger and it was delicious. Aside from being full of flavors, the patty itself was bigger than the buns. The staff is also very kind and welcoming. This place is like a Fuddruckers but with a personalized touch.

This was the first time visiting this restaurant after many months of wanting to and Im sad I didnt visit sooner! The burger was large and delicious and the prices were good! The layout was great and the "build your own burger" idea was really cool! Very great experience and i will definitely go back!
