Best Western Silva in Sibiu

Good place to stay, but i cant give 5 because: 1. Ive been noticed at the reception that I have to pay a tax for parking, that was not noticed upon the reservation. 2. The breakfast is not the quality I would expect from this hotel. Not bad, but below average in my experience.Otherwise the staff was nice and friendly and the location is very nice, inside a park.

Nice Place

Nice hotel for the Best Western chain of hotels. It should be higher classified as the rooms are really big and nicer than other outside Romania similar stars rated Best Western hotels. Also personnel was nice and ready to help you. Very close to city center but also away from noisy city center so right in the good place. Free internet, free guarded parking. Further recommended it.

Located in a green area within walking distance from city center it gives the chance to breathe a cleaner air at night, while beeing able to enjoythe beautiful old center. Clean rooms, well sized, everything functional, efficient and kind personnelpretty goid breakfast, all of them in a decent price... I was personally very satisfied with this hotel, I stayed there two times (with familly), and I will return gladly in the future.During weekends it might be a little noisy due to events organized in the area, but my only "weekend experience" was not bad at all.

Decided to stay here on our vacation, Couldnt get a meal or drink as all the facilities were booked by a wedding. Then had the joy of listening to Romainian Ummpaapaa music at full blast and full bass till after 0200am. Very unhappy camper!

Nice hotel. Good service. Good resturant. Plenty of parking (at extra fee). Nice area (next to a large park - Sub Arini). One minus - the hotels resturant hosts events at weekends, so it might be noisy at weekends.

Located in a quiet area, with a good restaurants. A pleasant surprise was the bell pepper salad, a Romanian traditional salad, which was made at the restaurant (not bought from the supermarket). Big room, big bathroom

This place is absolutely stunning. Right in front of their terrace is a nice park...such a pleasure to sit and enjoy your food and nature.

Close to Sibiu centre (15 min walkthis is a pleasant hotel. It overlooks a large play area for children - which is much better than a busy road can be noisy at weekends. We didnt mind. The rooks arguing woke us up in the morning. But again better than being woken up by heavy traffic!Nice terrace and ample breakfast bar with good coffee.I didnt give 5 stars as shower handle came off, plug in sink didnt work and no milk together with tea/coffee facilities in room.Issues 1 and 3 were fixed but I got the impression the receptionist did not believe me re: the sink. We only stayed 1 night so it wasnt important. Staff overall friendly.

Nice hotel, clean room and great service. I enjoyed my staying.

The location in front of a large park makes it ideal for families and sport activity. However the hotel is dated and remote from center. Also during the winter stay - heating was turned off - apparently for saving according hotel staff. It was -1 Celcius out side !

Lovely place to stay and explore the old city.

Place looks recently renovated, the room at least. Okay breakfast interactions with people was kept to a minimum.

Very good food & service

The place has a restaurant that has events like weddings. Dont get near the place if theres any event there. At first we were located just above the events room, and the floor was shaking from the loudness. After we got another room (with separate beds, not as we requestedthere was a lack of warm water in the shower also because of the dishwasher in the wedding kitchen... Unbelievable....

Great food, nice ambiance

A bit more expensive than your average hotel but definetly worth the money. Good and polite staff and excelent services. Enjoyed the view from the room. A bit noisy because of the airport but when writing this review there werent too many flights to be a nuissance

A nice place, beautiful location (in to a big park), not far from the Museum of Romanian Vilage, the bigest village museum in sout-east Europe .

Typical business type hotel, clean adequate room. Only ate breakfast in the hotel that was fine. About a 20 minute walk to the city center. Directly opposite a public park hence all the green in the photo! Good size car park.

This is a good place for a small wedding. The parking lot is very big and well organised. Is very close to the park and the center of the city. :-)
