Best Western Liberty Inn in Delano

Filthy. This was probably a nice hotel at one time, but it is poorly maintained.The room was a nice size but the bathroom floor was so bad we left early for our next destination so we wouldnt have to shower there.Definitely would not stay there again.

Excellent service! I felt safe. The receptionist Alma was extremely friendly and helpful made me feel comfortable. Clean room and hotel delicious breakfast, I will definitely be staying there again.

This hotel would have gotten a higher rating if there was such a huge safety concern the back door to the hotel was broken and there was a homeless camp near by. The room and breakfast was great.

Not up to typical Best Western 3-star hotel standards but at least the staff was really nice! No elevator, so if you have a lot of luggage, youll have to carry it upstairs. The pool and jacuzzi were dirty (water was basically green and cloudy). The AC in the entire hotel was on blast but it was pretty hot/humid all day and night. The room was generally clean but if you looked at the details it wasnt. The shower handle came off completely and the sink was slow to drain. The fridge had a funky smell but so did the entire hotel. Not too many options for breakfast, no dairy free options and the breakfast room was like 90 degrees. Seemed more like a 2-star hotel and I wouldnt stay here again.

In direct violation I believe on not having adequate ADA accommodations. The room was of a half star rating. We had to request a new toilet seat because the one in our room was so just deplorable. There was drawing on the walls. The hotel just needs and all over refurbishing. The furniture the carpet the paintings the drapes the toilets and sinks the air conditioning and the mattresses all was just old and outdated and in much need of improvement. There were an ever present of transients hanging on the benches at the entrance of this hotel. Not at all what we expected when the non refundable reservation was made. We could not take staying another night so we checked out a day earlier and ate the cost.

Thank you Best Western, for providing a quality hotel that has been accommodating my family for years! We recently stayed at another hotel in the area and we were not impressed at all. BW in Delano is clean, the walls are not paper thin, and I have not had one bad experience here in my life. Thank you Best Western!

I have stayed here a couple of times and have never been disappointed. The Breakfast is great compliments to the cook(slike how they always have coffee or tea ready and the fruits are always fresh. Will continue to stay here every time I go to Delano

Not sure how this place is a Best Western brand. The place is filthy and is in need of a remodel 10 years ago. The is a breakfast room but there was never anything but bread and waffles as everything else was never restocked. They take butter and the cream cheese and cut it up and wrap in plastic wrap. This is not only unsanitary but also highly illegal to the health control in the state of CA. There is nobody in the breakfast room to clean tables after others.

They need more black top for their truck parking. Or makes sure you can drive out of the mud.in back.. Besides that everything is great

Hotel was nice, but there were homeless literally sleeping on the ground in the middle of the parking lot. Secure your valuables. Leave nothing in your vehicle. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Food trucks out front. Lots of food choices

Got there took me more than 20mins to check in went to room smelled like cigarettes went back down when came up housekeeper open room we left to visit family as we left carpet in stairway very dirty we came back keys didn’t work came down had to wait to get keys activated when pull sheets I see blood stains in sheets which was gross then I was so tired I slept with my head to the feet so got up early checked out about 9am left but when I see my bank account I was charged $309 for one night when website said it was less I called complain to Alma(managershe said will refund me everything I checked my account only $14.75 was refunded I have Been calling to get my refund they blocked my # we would always stay there for more than 10years due to we have family that lives out there so dissatisfied and disappointed

Best place to stay in town especially being away from home. From desk worker Celia was very friendly, polite and helpful. Room was clean and bathroom was spacious. Thank you best western

I am extremely disappointed in this hotel. We arrived in the middle of the night and checking in was easy, the front desk agent was friendly. In the morning when I could finally see the bed had some stains and debris we will call it on the side sham, the front desk women and "cook" were rude, they served pb&j uncrustables and water, no coffee, it is just a horrible experience.

Everything was clean and comfortable, the bath tub was spacious, the only issue was that hot and cold were reversed on the sink faucet, but that was pretty minor.

Everyone that put good things lied because they were paid. Look for yourself no washer/dryer or pool but it says they have one and no breakfast.theyre ripping people off

Stayed on Friday (Memorial Day weekend). Check in was ok. The rest is supper poor quality.If you plan to rest after a long trip, better bind another place. Canada train outside the window, some teenagers scream on a corridor in the middle of the night as they are alone in the building. At 4am people next door having conversation. Want it or not, but you are a part of it as walls are super thin. Pillows are not comfortable at all.In other words this 3-star hotel feels like a cheap train station motel. Feel sorry for other visitors who had same experience

I booked this location online because it was listed as a motel that was near the location I was traveling to after reservation was placed we found out that it was not so we immediately contacted them to cancel. Requires a $150 upfront deposit. Only stayed 1 nite travelling through to AZ. Place dumpy. Key entry broken so someone had to always come let us in room if we went out. Never in my life of travelling did I ever have to pay a deposit upfront plus room charge.

Friendly staff. Front desk Elsie made you feel at home even when her plate was full with people checking in and her room key system was not working and she had to keep letting people into their rooms. Nice rooms and a covid restructured breakfast that was in top 3 we have experienced in our traveling. Above the competition with ham,egg and cheese english muffins and yogurt. Nice job..

Save your self from an awful experience, awful management and zero understanding of customer service. Receptionist Neilly Zaragoza was extremely unprofessional and rude, using profane language and hand gestures after becoming frustrated with my elderly mother due to a very simple mix up with the reservation and turning this into an extremely unpleasant ordeal. A sad disgrace to best western. Many better hotels in the area.

No elevator, Steps only for 2nd floor room assigmentAlternate Entertainment - One can hear voices from neighboring guest rooms.Room numbering system is not in numerical order though its a minor distraction.Dennys, Generals, Jack n Box,Burger King restaurants just steps away from property.

Just getting run down. Not very clean in the rooms. Bathroom was particularly rough. Wasnt expecting much for the price. Be careful of the rooms facing the freeway. The air conditioner cycles instead of having constant fan.

It was okay enough for the price. Welcomed my little dog with no extra pet fee however there wasnt a stitch of dirt or grass for her to go to the bathroom. They entire place was completely surrounded in concrete. The guy at the counter Steve was very kind and helpful which was nice. The room had been over sold and the king bed I had reserved was not available. He did everything in his power to make it right which was appreciated. The beds in my room were horribly uncomfortable. I could feel the springs in them... made for an uncomfortable sleep and a morning achy back. The room was clean, the floors were tile which was nice and clean. (No hidden crud in a dirty carpetAll in all, it was okay.

We checked in to this hotel today, Dec 26,2019... we got the deluxe room with a King size bed and a pull out sofa for my family of four. As soon as we got to the room we wanted to take a nap so we pulled out the sofa bed for my son to sleep in. When we pulled out the bed, first thing I noticed was a big stain in the middle of the matress with blood stains all over it. I went down to the front desk not to really complain, but to work it out somehow, I went ask the attendant, her name was Myra if we could get a rollaway bed for my son, she said that since we have the pullout sofa, we couldnt get a rollaway, so I told her about the matress on the pull out but she didnt really say anything, so I ask what we can do with the situation, and all she told me was she can give me sheets for it. I ask for the manager, she said that the manager was on vacation. I almost lost it. I just shook my head and went back to the room. Hours have past, then we needed to take showers, so my wife had pulled out the towels to use, as soon as she unfolded the towel, more blood stains were on them. I have stayed in alot of hotels or motels around the country, but I have never been to one that has bad room with bad service. At least try to help fix the issues and not add to it. I will never stay on the esblishment ever again... oh yah just wanted to mention that we only stayed here so we can use the indoor pool, but the pool was even out of service.

Room was clean and the staff were pleasant. The sink was clogged and no stopper. The toilet seat was completely off the toilet. I am disabled and requested a handicap room. We did our reservation long before check in time. When we arrived, we were told no handicap room was available and our room was on the second floor and there is no elevator.

The place is clean and a nice stay. The rooms were clean and the staff attentive.The breakfast is not up to what i will eat but common in best Western and other chains. Microwaved bacon - ewww

Love EVERYTHING about this hotel!! Was on the road for a week, stayed at 7 hotels and this was the BEST! Customer service was so wonderful. They are so nice and helpful. Friendly and thoughtful. They treated us like family in a time of grief of our aunt passing. I wont forget these ladies and there kindness.Room was clean and smelled good. They have a microwave, fridge, coffee pot...they even have snacks in the lobby if you are hungry. So thoughtful!In door pool. Sonna.Hard workers, I always saw them running around like busy bees!!Breakfast... again, thoughtful! Warm and always refilled for the customers.The whole all and all experience was wonderful. I will never be the same or see hotels in the same way again.PLEASE,,, dont change!!

We stayed at this Best western in Delano for a family event, we checked out on a Sunday on October 28th late morning and the very rude receptionist with long gray hair and ridiculous long lashes with almost no chin was horrible!! Didn’t even take the time to ask how everything was, how our stay was or even say good morning or talk to us for that matter she just rudely took the keys from my husbands hand and didn’t even give us a receipt! All was well with the hotel and other staff was great but because of this girl we will definitely not be returning again! Why would you put a rude non morning person obviously, to work morning shifts?? A receptionist can either make your stay a great one or a horrible one and this receptionist made our stay horrible! What happened to great customer service and smiling faces?

Really nice hotel. We stayed in 3 best westerns on your vacation and this was the nicest. Rooms are inside of the hotel instead of doors leading to outside. So you can stay in air conditioning from room to breakfast lounge (or to vending machines, ice machine, front desk as needed or to indoor pool.Also made me feel alot safer since we checked in late. (Not in bad area you just never know now a days). Also the rooms were huge and you could smell how clean it was....our other rooms didnt smell bad at all but this one smelt extremely fresh and clean as soon as we walked in the door.

Hi, Im a guest in your hotel. I wanted to point out that maybe you guys should think about putting in a small gym here in Delano Ca. ? I have trouble sleeping at nights and doing and little bit of weights and exercise helps. (Just a thought, because Im sure others can relate). Very convenient location on the way to Yosemite National Park. Rooms are ample and cozy, the breakfast is delicious. Tea, coffee, fruits and fruit water are always available. There is a gas station nearby the hotel. Will definitely come back!

Breakfast was a little sparce by Best Westerns normal standards. The room was very nice and clean. The TV remote was put into a hygenically clean sleeve. Never ever seen that before!!! They held the room for us, even though we were running late and there were fresh baked chocolate chip cookies waiting for us when we arrived.

My family was traveling 190+ miles to attend a funeral in Delano. We decided to stay at Best Western. We were a large group of 11 families all together. The booking process was professional and fast. They were able to accommodate my family all together.I loved that they offered us a discount too.The rooms were very modern with up to date electronics. We had refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. You can’t beat the price for a room with all the amenities and commodities.Breakfast was amazing. For a minute I forgot I was in a hotel :)After a long day you bet we took advantage of the heated pool.Thank you Best Western!!We will be visiting again soon

This place literally smelled like crap. Its surrounded by grape farms. The lady at the front desk kind of had an attitude when we were checking in. The breakfast pastries were incredibly stale, and no one was maintaining the tiny eating area during the breakfast time, so every table was dirty and sticky.Worst best Western Ive been to!

The room was clean and comfortable, bedding was well cared for or fairly new.The welcome front desk Bianca was fantastic. She was welcoming helpful and courtesy. She made our over night stay so much better. Great job Best Western Liberty for hiring a wonderful person. Also before my check in and Bianca at the front desk was able to help me change my room. This location is great - it seems to me to be new or maybe the interior has been recently refurbished. Strong chemical odors like one gets from new carpeting. Eventually the smell seemed to be gone or I got use to it. A/C did not work in the room I was in otherwise all else was great.

This place is absolutely amazing. I called 2 days before my check in and Christina at the front desk was able to help me change my room. I needed to queen beds instead of one. She also gave me the same rate. Im here with my whole family about 10 of us. My moms room there was an issue with the toilet seat it was 9 at night and Christina had maintence come and install new toilet seat with 15 mins. Staff is very kind. They treat you like family. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is the best ever. Thank you Best Western and thank you Christina for providing my family with such a phenomenal stay. See you soon. A nice place to rest your head. Stopped for the night during a trip from Washington to Arizona and I was pretty happy with the overall experience. The only reason I am deducting a star is due to the "thin walls" allowing you to hear conversations from down the hall. Our room was upstairs and close to the lobby and it was very easy to hear conversations at the front desk.The room was clean and comfortable, bedding was well cared for or fairly new. The bathroom tile floor is VERY slick after a shower, so put that towel down for safety and comfort.The breakfast is nice with a decent selection of food and drink, but if youre looking for more, there is a Dannys across the parking lot.Finally, a big plus is that there is oversize parking available in a dirt lot behind the motel. Be careful though, there are some potholes that could easily swallow a midsize car, but they arent too hard to navigate around.

This is an older hotel but nice. Only drawback is the stairs (no elevatorif you get a room on an upper floor. Nice pool and spa area. Rooms are nice size and clean, comfortable. Great location right off freeway, same parking lot with Dennys, a fast food restaurant and gas station. We find this hotel very convenient when traveling on 99 between southern and northern California.

Medium sized hotel, room was a great size and comfortable, the window leaked a bit of outside noise but it was drowned out by the a/c unit. Train bellows were audible, but it felt like home since I live next to train tracks. Breakfast was pretty decent, nice surprise to find pumpkin spice waffle batter. Appreciated that they had a stocked beverage station in the lobby, though the decaf had run out by I had come back at 9p.m. hot chocolate still hit the spot. Also, the microwave and refrigerator in the room were actually quite useful.

It was very clean & comfortable. The staff was very helpful & courteous. Breakfast was awesome, pancakes, waffels, eggs, sausage potatoes yogurt, bagels, English muffins, all the condiments are in the fridge & boiled eggs. The staff keep things very clean. There is hot water, various kinds of coffee, & fresh, infused water drinks cucumber & orange on this day. Oh yeah staff has fresh made hott cookies at the front desk and the hot tub is small yet relaxing and the pool is at a great temperature. Loved this hotel, I will DEFINITELY RETURN AGAIN.

This is the best hotel chain. I love Best Western. Its like coming home. This Best Western in particular is amazing because: The rooms are beautiful and give a home like feeling. The staff is wonderful here. Always smiling and taking the time to make sure your stay is amazing. I would definitely recommend staying here whether its business or pleasure.

It was a fine hotel. It was dated and the hallways smelled but the room itself was just fine. Beds were comfy even. Breakfast wasnt anything special but a waffle and juice is better than nothing.
