Best Western Kelly Inn in Yankton

This hotel is in need of a major upgrade. We rented a poolside room and could not get the door open because the handle was busted. The ceiling in the pool area looked like it was going to fall on our heads. On weekend nights the bar closed at 9 and the pool at 10. Even with privacy sign out housekeeping kept knocking all morning long waking the kids. I was locked out numerous times because the outdoor key readers werent working properly either.

Well first of all when I went to the room I always check the beds and Ride along the lining of the beds there were bed bugs and thats very disgusting then I went down to complain to a heavier set female her name was Krista and she was very rude called the manager the next day she was very unprofessional she was the least concerned about my concerns and also the front desk lady at night Krista look like shes under the influence of drugs talk to you management about that and all I did was to come for her and was very very unprofessionally rude to me I would not recommend this hotel the Days inn and comfort inn on Broadway are very nice hotels they have great staff they have great rooms I would highly recommend staying there instead

Great service, breakfast was fresh, pool was well kept, shampoo and soaps smell amazing and the rooms were very clean!

I stay here often place is always clean, quite, friendly, breakfast is great! The pool is awesome for my kids, I stay with 7 kids ages 17 to 2 and they all enjoy it! They allow pets & dont charge extra! Also they give pets. Cute little note, treat & potty bag its pretty cute!

Wasnt explained to about what time breakfast was. Had to look on the door. Wasnt told how to get to our room. Nor what the pool hours were. Hot tub was out of service. Customer service needs a little more better communication upon guests checking in. Other than that it was a good stay and will be back at some point.

The girl Kristy at the front desk was so unbelievably kind and helpful... She made my day and I really like their staff. The adjoining restaurant is absolutely amazing as well. Amazing place.

Staff was soo rude at check in. Hotel was dirty. Thr king suite had a ripped sectional couch. It was awful. Tools was hot ans it was 99 outside. Room not cleaned well. I am still feeling dirty. Found shirt behind blinds. Just seems cleaned in a hurry. Breakfast buffet was okay but tons of people and couldnt keep up with coffee and hot food. Need more help. The front staff needs some maner classes ans customers service. They talk about guest loudly after the checked in or out. Soo not professional. We had a wedding to attend in the ballroom. Wish the Bride would have choose somewhere else. Not worth the almost $300 king suite price. More like $100. Get some new furniture. Awful appearance. Gross feeling. I am calling the Besr Western Corp.

Was disappointed to find out that the hot tub was out of commission upon our arrival, however the pool was still open thankfully and the kids really enjoyed it. The restaurant that is attached was fantastic, room was clean, we were able to get a roll away bed, breakfast was great as always, overall a great experience!

The young lady that checked us in was wonderful! Very friendly! She was the only one. We had 8 rooms and ALL of the kids that swam developed a terrible rash that lasted for over 5 days! Called down to talk to the general manager, just to let her know and she got very defensive and told us that the pool readings were all perfect and it must have been something else.We had pool side rooms and the pool area is in poor up keep, our sliding door would hardly work. The rooms need updates for the prices they charge!We have stayed here several times over the last 6 years, but after the way we were treated, never again!

Fairly nice place. Good breakfast and friendly front desk staff. There are RR tracks next door. The door to the hallway had light coming in all around it, ie no seals, so best to bring some ear plugs.Kids loved the pool with slides!
