I visited this restaurant with my sister and husband for something to eat and a drink.We sat on the patioWhen the waiter came over to take our order we mentioned very rowdy party of 8,who were makingour conversation impossible!His answer was “It’s an evening,people have good time “Ok,after few minutes my husband put quiet music on his phone,just to create “white noise”to camouflage the other peoples loud talks and shouting so we could talk a little.Immediately the same waiter,which name I don’t know and don’t care to know,came over and requested us to turn of our phone!I strongly advise that same rules should be applied to all the guests !!!!The food was mediocre!We have been there last year and the experience was ok.This year the whole thing left me with bad aftertaste and I am done with your establishment

Brilliant experience - great food and good service. Highly recommended. We were a group of about 15 people and everyone left the place satisfied :)

Very good polish and czech food.I would give 5 stars for the service, food and location but the toilets could be more clean.

We enjoyed the menu of Czech cuisine and locally brewed beer. Fantastic service, interested and attentive, was provided by Pawel, a great host and ambassador for the business.

Good food.. we were three of us and had the steak. Reasonably priced too. Not at any fault of the service, but the place where we were made to sit was very stuffy and extremely hot. Could have been the warm temperature outside.

Staff was very attentive and the salad with beef was incredible. A lot of flavor for a salad. The drink service was great.We ate early around 4pm and glad we did because by 6 there wasnt a table to be had.

I put 5 stars for friendly service, good beer, childrens menu and delicious desserts. I also love the meat salad there. But I didn’t like dish with the duck, because there are only a few pieces of duck there.

Really liked the cream of tomato soup. The veg chops was average. The cheesecake is not as soft as you get in the states as the style is a bit different.

A good place for people with different food preference. Quite big variety of vegan dishes. Not so cheap, but its a high quality restaurant. Liked it very much, as well as my 3 companions.

Not my first visit in Bernard, but a first review. Its a solid place to visit anytime, the food is always delicious and you will end up full and unable to move. Definitely a stop to make!

In general place is nice, however there are 2 minuses. First of all, food. It looks amazing, serving is perfect, but taste 50/50. The dessert was very dry, the main dish which I ate – purée with chicken and carrots – quite ok, but carrots couldn’t eat. Fish was strange. Regarding starters, I disliked all: prawns, cheese, etc. What’s great: drinks are perfect, this is for sure. Second minus, a really loud place – couldn’t hear what person in front of me is telling… had a big headache afterwards because all the time I had to shout. Bathroom is nice and clean. There are 3 floors plus you can sit outside. Maybe depends on taste the food will be tasty to others. Unfortunately not for me.

Cool atmosphere, good beer choice and food. Fast and kind service. Steaks are ok but not great. If you want to have good steak go somewhere else.

Good place to eat, the atmosphere was very nice, excellent serving and very good food.Located very central, you have the option to dine in or dine on the covered heated therase.I been very surprised by the Polish - Czech food fussion and I do recommend you to ask for a mango lemonade and gulas.

Very good food- we ordered chicken with patato puree and pork chop, 2 mulled beers and everything met our expectations. Big disatvantage for siiting at mezzanine where is very narrow and crowded. Not very helpful staff.

Great food and service, extensive drinks menu, try the mulled pineapple beer… We went with a large group of 20+ and the evening was flawless from start to finish. The pork and chicken was some of the most tender and juicy I’ve had globally, the dumplings were soft as pillows, made me wonder why more Czech places don’t serve them like this, and the deserts/bar snacks/tartare were a brilliant way to finish the meal. And for the adventurous… try their mulled beers and wines. They’re hot (as in boilingspiced drinks with some fascinating pairings - in our case - pineapple juice, bailey’s, and chocolate syrup in a dark lager… it was interesting…

Very good food. Wonderfull tomato soup. Amazing salmon!The only not matching thing for such a good place is in my opinion is outfits for ladies/waitresses - quality does not look high. Would consider changing it to add on full professionalism to the place

Rabbit leg are soft and tender. The bread beside is fluffy and crispy. Also, if you go with friends or family I’d recommend you to have their snack box. All well fried and they’re so filling. We’re satisfied. Only the service could have been better.

Bernard, wow wow wow! My wife and I came in over the Christmas period and were blown away by this place. First off, the staff were lovely, polite, friendly and prompt. We started off with some lovely mulled wine and gosh... It was so tasty, much better than most Ive tried elsewhere around Wrocław. I decided to go with the Deer as Ive never seen this on the menu before and was cery curious. Got to say it was perfection. However you must be okay with rare meat, luckily for me - this is how I always order my steaks. It was so juicy and tender the meat just melted on your tongue. The sweet potatoes and mushrooms served alongside the delicious demi glace completed the dish. Portion was generous so Id recommend coming in hungry! Love it, well be back!

Definitely a MUST for Wroclaw locals when strolling around Rynek. Its not cheap, but the local atmosphere, nice staff, very good beer and Excellent Food make up for it. I recommend the Breaded Cheese and Beef Goulash.

Very good meals in a heart of the city. The service is the top quality and the meals are made from the fresh products. Mainly Czech meals but also other. Love this place, totally recommended

I can’t even compare this restaurant to any other in Wroclaw... just the best! Service is great but food is amazing- kitchen is doing a very good job however more spiciness wouldn’t hurt hahaha We ordered Burger and Bernard’s chicken- strongly recommend this place:)

My favorite restaurant in Wrocław. Located in the heart of the city center. Traditional dishes that are interpreted in a modern cooking style with a touch of Czech cuisine. They also have their own beer which is really good. The terrace outside is nice and the inside interior is very stylish

A pub in front of the old town. Local brewery. Live music. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere to have dinner with friends of solo.

Friendly staff, great service for an English customer.For my starter I had prawns which were amazing, one of them was battered(?in some kind black stuff - I only wish that they were all like this because it tasted so good.My main was Duck with beetroot. Too much beetroot! Diced beetroot, beetroot purée and beetroot, nut and potatoe dumplings described as crispy on the menu. They werent crispy at all and the meal really needed some bite. All of the textures of the meal were so soft and rich. For the duck this was a good thing but I was disappointed in the dumplings despite the taste being quite nice.The dessert was a white chocolate cheesecake that was a bit too cakey for my taste. Im used to cheesecake being creamy.When it came to paying I was asked if I wanted to pay in PLN or GBP. At first I didnt think it would matter much so I just shrugged my shoulders. Then I said Id like to pay in zloty but I dont think the waitress heard me so I ended up paying in pounds. Initially I didnt mind but I wasnt warned about the 4% conversion fee charged by the card machine. I use a Starling bank card so I dont get fees for using my card abroad. After returning to the restaurant to try and refund and pay in zloty I was met by a rude waiter who was convinced I was charged by my bank even though the recipient said clearly I was charged by the card machine. They said it was impossible to refund which Im uncertain if thats true because I work in a restaurant myself and know its possible to refund card payment through the terminals. Im sure if they spoke to a manager it could have been sorted.Anyway you cant judge the full restaurant by an uncommon experience but the food wasnt anything special for the price I paid.

Very nicely presented meals. Menu choices interesting. Well priced for the location. Nice attention to kids (we got a few toys to play with right awayeven though the menu choices are rather boring (breaded chicken yet again). Unfortunately the cezar salad tasted like very fresh mixed lettuce with mayonnaise and unseasoned chicken breast :( Still, this place is one of the better choices on the square for us (been coming since more than 6 years here)

Very tasty food, prices are high but it’s worthy for the quality of the dishes and the location. I recommend to book in advance because it’s always very crowded and there some tables located in a very narrow space that don’t let you enjoy the experience, with waiters and people passing by all the time. Maybe this was the only defect.

Modern and fine local cuisine. Showing up without reservation might be risky on peak hours. Better to call. Service is really professional, portions are really generous. Gluten free and Vegetarian options available and mentioned on the menu. Good choice of wine. This restaurant is a good choice for groups and business meals.

Good restaurant with delicious food. The goose with apples was excellent. Portions are big. Waiters speak English( in some cafes language might be a problemand menu is available in English as well. The prices are not high for restaurant of such level. Lunch with desert and drinks costs about 20 euros p.p.

Amazing place . Awesome cocktails (been here in summer - check out their beer cocktails), fantastic, _tasty_ food despite touristic location. Service might be a bit slow, but when I was here there was a great string quartet playing right next to the place - free concert! Absolutely must visit. Been eating here all the time Ive been in wroclaw.
