Best experience ever in Sipalay, the beach though not as white as that of Punta Ballo, we have a 1 km stretch of fine washed sugar sands for our feet to enjoy, best to stay barefoot when you are there, a secluded beach, a warm and very friendly staff and a beach front bungalow which we really enjoyed.

One of the best resorts in sugar beach. Their food, clean surroundings, beautiful hut in front of the beach and most of all the owner and staffs are very accomodating. All in all, its irresistible.

A resort that appreciates nature. It’s beachfront has such a calming effect with its abundance of greenery. Good food & decent value. I would’ve given this resort 5⭐️s if it had a pool plus a few other amenities but I understand that they are going for a less commercialized vibe.

The people here are rude and unfriendly. Don’t ruin your vacation because of the sarcastic, unprofessional Swiss owner. He’s nice to the foreigners while undermining Filipino visitors. If you’ve experienced the same maltreatment from this Swiss owner, go and complain to the FB Page of Sipalay LGU.

Overrated and overpriced. This resort gets mostly great reviews but my experience was less positive. The AC room was OK though soulless. No hot water to shower was a bit of a disappointment. The food was nice but compared to the other resorts very pricy. Beer and water f.e. are 20 to 30% more expensive than the nearby resorts. And no Im not travelling on a tiny budget but the price differences are too significant to not mention it. Wifi is shared with another resort and is very very very slow. Probably they are too thrifty to invest in a decent wifi package since it works fine in other resorts.

Cozy, small rooms with all the necessities. Clean and comfortable. Air conditioning, fan, private CR with shower. Francis and the staff were 10/10. Very helpful, easy going, and accommodating. We only had breakfast and it was awesome! We would have eaten here more often and stayed longer if they accepted credit card. CASH ONLY! Nearest ATM is 2 hours away!! There is an ATM in Sipalay but don’t count on it if you’re a foreigner. Trust me, bring cash!I will note that there is a resort right next door that does take credit card for food, drinks, diving, cigarettes, etc so you will never be ‘stuck’.

Nice resort on a spectacular beach. The resort is comfortable and well maintained. The owner and staff are very friendly. The food is very good. If you want a quiet vacation located on an amazingly beautiful beach, this is the place to stay.
