Adorable family-run little restaurant with super fresh vegetarian/vegan food. Everything is delicious. If youre not willing to be patient, its best to order online for pickup because everything is made by hand and to order. Highly recommend the passion fruit bread for dessert. It actually tastes like passion fruit!

Great option for vegan and vegetarian food. We will definitely be back again soon. Kinda hidden, but its right next to Raíces restaurant and the Walgreens.

Great restaurant, vegan, it has parkings, for vegan lovers this is a great spot! Nice decoration, excellent customer service, the desserts omg! So good! They use coconut sugar! So good! The banana bread! Yummy! Great experience! Be back!!

This restaurant has an excellent vibe, kind staff, and delicious food. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and it was the most delicious thing I ate on my trip to Puerto Rico. Highly recommend for anyone looking for good food, not just vegans and vegetarians.

The food was great I have no complaints about it. However the service was very poor as we watched multiple people come in order food eat and leave while we waited over an hour for our food.

My last day in Puerto Rico and I’m so glad I made it to Berlingeri!!! As a vegetarian this is an oasis for veggie/vegan lovers. Everything on the menu sounds amazing. I got the chipotle burger which came with the most amazing beans and seasoned rice. The staff is super friendly and the vibe of the place is very cabin the woods. A must stop while in San Juan 🏖🇵🇷👋🏾☑️

Best vegetarian food in Puerto Rico easily! We had the burger and the rice bowl. Both were absolutely delicious and I wish we could have come back again here for lunch. I particularly loved their banana bread dessert. Puerto Rico definitely knows how to make plantains and banana dishes 😁 Their ambience was definitely unique and a nice touch. This should be your go to place for vegetarian lunch!

Berlingeri is the most delicious vegan cafe in this area of San Juan. The staff is so nice and friendly, and the food is phenomenal. We kept coming back multiple days to eat here because the food was so good. In particular, we loved the sesame milk latte, picadillo cubano plate, prisma salad, and the passion fruit cake. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough!

Delicious and healthy. My only complaint is that it took 20 min for our food to arrive, and they ask for tips prior to you getting service or trying food

Omg dont even hesitate! Vegan artistry at its best! You can tell that Joseph and Nicole put their all into the place. The locals you can tell love it as well. Food is satisfying, beautiful, creative and super delicioso! Staff was helpful and super kind!

Many places come up in google maps as vegetarian and turn out not to be so, which is always a big let-down for me. Berlingeri in Ocean Park area is truly authentic vegan with a full menu of yummy options. You wont be disappointed. I had the seitan shawarma wrap, my wife the tofu-inspired Cuban sandwich. Berlingeri nailed these. I would definitely go again. P.S. front door is across the parking lots and building covered in ivy--ask someone for help to point you in the direction of the place as everyone seems to know about Berlingeri.

We had the picadillo cubano and the oink sandwich. They were both delicious! Some of our favorite meals of the trip and highly recommended!

Fantastic food, juice, and desert.

Beautiful spot for all-vegan eats in San Juan. The whole menu is vegan. The ambiance is beautiful as well with lots of plants. This place is behind some other larger stores so you’ll have to walk through a parking lot type area to get there. Definitely worth going to at least once if you can’t eat meat or dairy!

Would’ve eaten here every day of my trip had I found it sooner. For vegans/vegetarians this is a must-try in San Juan. The vibe is so great here and food is superb! Dishes were innovative, fresh and colorful. We absolutely loved the Thai burger and picadillo cubano. Also ordered the horchata but everyone had the watermelon-limon, we tried the horchata, which was earthy and resembled more of a chai than the traditional drink. I wish we had ordered more, but will definitely be back next trip. Go for a burger and special, you won’t regret it!

The food here is outstanding! We ate here several times while visiting Puerto Rico. Definitely a must go for vegans visiting the island!

A little hard to find, but oh so worth it! Delicious food, great staff. A little noisy, so be prepared for that. Wasn’t a problem for us.

I eat and make a lot of vegan food; this place has some of the best vegan food Ive ever eaten. The flavors: incredible, texture: on point, presentation: art nouveau. The chef makes a walnut/lentil meat that packs so much flavor I couldnt put my fork down. Love everything about this spot, Ill definitely be back!

I was so excited to try this place for lunch as it seems like a holy grail for vegetarians/vegans. Did not disappoint! I was very happy with my gyro and black bean soup. My husband got the Cubano and really liked it. He wished he also got the soup! I was pleasantly surprised to find Berlingeri also serves sweety pastries. We had a very good brownie for dessert. Wait staff was very friendly and helpful making vegan substitutions when needed. I just wish they were open for dinner as well as lunch!

A must-stop for vegans visiting the island. Incredibly delicious and delicately crafted food, drink, and desserts. Friendly and attentive staff, all in a quaint space with great music and great atmosphere. Everything Ive had here has been great, and you can get some vegan versions of awesome Caribbean dishes. It is in my top 10 of vegan restaurants, all time, anywhere.

Absolutely AMAZING!!!! Location a little difficult to find but when you do it’s absolutely worth it! The employees were kind and patient while assisting us with locating the building. Food was seasoned well and appetizing for the vegans and non vegans alike. Hands down our family thanks you for the superior customer service and quality meal. We look forward to our return before departing the island.

I ordered two sandwiches in back to back days. The BBQ and the Deluxe Cubano, both were tasty and hit the spot. They close at 3 pm so plan ahead. Its also typically 40 minutes from ordering to getting your food (during COVID-19 and, well, island time?).

Me and my wife came looking at some fantastic reviews about this place. We are vegan and have some more dietary restrictions. Although we weren’t available to find options for ourselves, the head chef was courteous enough to offer us complimentary brownie. Would recommend this place to vegan lovers as they have lot of options.

This place was so good that it is still on my mind 6 months after my trip to PR!! What I loved about this vegan restaurant is that the dishes were original and not attempting to provide a vegan-alternative to traditional dishes. I cant even remember what I had. I just recall it being a very balanced flavor-wise, everything complimented each other, the dressings/sauces/seasoning were perfection, and the ingredients taste super fresh.

Flavorful food you can feel good about! I ordered the Thai Burger (which although quite tasty didnt really posses many Thai qualities to be labeled as such, in my opinionwith sides of rice & beans (so simple and so good!and the soup of the day (didnt even know what it was, but delicious down to the last drop). The sesame iced latte was also yummy, albeit a tad sweet for my liking, and the carrot cake super moist & full of all the good stuff. Will continue to come back here every time Im in PR for work because its great to have a healthy (and plant basedgo-to spot when traveling!

Amazing variety and very tasty. Definitely worth the money. Definitely not a tourist trap. Great service and yummy in your tummy foods. Coffee was decent, the brownie was amazing and the food was super fresh,nice and hot too.

This food was incredible, so fresh and tasty. It was the most flavorful tofu Ive ever had and everything was seasoned beautifully. The employees were very helpful when we were looking to figure out what to order from the large all-vegan menu. We got the Jibaro Bowl and the Picadillo de Cubano, and we both scraped the bottom of our bowls. A vegetarian/vegan dream full of veggies.

The quality and taste of the food at this cute neighborhood spot are unmatched. Anything Ive ever had here has been flavorful satisfying and absolutely spot on. Highly recommended not just for vegans & vegetarians.

Excelent place! Everything is so good. I would say this is the best plant based restaurant in the Island. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, it doesn’t matter if you are vegan or not, you will really like this place. The quality of the food, the variety, deserts, juice bar... you will always find something that will indulge your appetite. Thank you guys!

Doesnt take long after entering to realize these folks care about the food they are making. I had a root veggie soup with beet salad and a chipotle veggie burger. All the flavors were great & the staff was super helpful. Inside vibes are nice as was the music. Def. recommend!

I am not vegan but I prefer meatless dishes. My daughter is vegetarian. We were recommended this place by a young man we met at a ranch while doing some horseback riding. We were very impressed by the taste and quality. Recommend trying for sure.

This place is a neighborhood gem! Many veggie burgers and a couple rotating entrees that you can choose to get either a la carte or with sides. I have been craving fresh and veggie food in Puerto Rico, where a lot of the local food is heavy and fried. Have been twice in the last 5 days and had a house burger and prisma salad (huge and the best salad I’ve have in PR so far!and a slice of banana bread that was decadent and dense without being too sweet.Order at the counter and take a number type establishment. Food comes out quickly and is fairly priced. Service is friendly and place seems to be family run. I plan to return and eat my way through the menu!

This place has my heart! The food is creative, fresh and very healthy. As a vegan, it can be difficult to find food that goes past tofu and beans - this place has done that. The folks who run this place are seriously the BEST -- I cannot stress that enough. They are friendly, accommodating and will make you feel like family. Additionally, they care deeply about the environment which you can see through their recycled to-go boxes and napkins. Please support this fabulous restaurant, you wont be disappointed! ❤

Amazing vegetarian and vegan food in the San Juan area. Owners were very helpful in explaining the menu and letting us know what were the signature and favorite dishes. Food was amazing, especially the Jíbaro Bowl. It gets a bit crowded starting at 12pm

Best vegetarian lunch in San Juan! Super friendly staff and delicious desserts.

Fresh delicious vegan menu. The burrito and the jíbaro bowl are not to be missed! Smoothies, juices and lemonades are sweet but no processed sugar added. Extremely abundant portions, do leave room for dessert. The avocado mousse and the brownies are standouts. A welcome addition for vegan foodies!

Delicious plant based menu. I had a difficult time choosing from so many yummy options. Excellent staff. I took my non-vegan parents and they loved it too. I will be back many times before heading back to VA.
