Panoramastraße 1A, 10178 Berlin, Germany, Charlottenburg-Nord
368m-tall tower, opened in 1969, with a viewing gallery at 203m and revolving restaurant at 207m.
I chose my time slot for 3:30pm since I knew the sun would set soon after that. You have to walk up some stairs to get to the entrance. They view your time slot before you enter the building.Once they review your bags(if you have anythey review your time slot once again before you move you ahead to scan your ticket at the machine. Make sure your brightness is turned up & that you’ve zoomed into your QR Code. Once you’re in, you walk down a hallways & are greeted by some patrons. They ask if you’re going to the restaurant or just upstairs & then have you wait for the next elevator if it’s not available. It’s a nice ride up, your ears do pop.Once you’re up there, you’re able to read information about different areas in Berlin. They have monuments listed on there & a tower viewer you can use for a euro. Plus there’s a bar at that level but it wasn’t open during that time.I believe the deck is open until 10 pm.I believe I paid about $22 USD just to get to the deck. Make sure you’re selecting just the deck & not the one including the VR experience unless you’re interested in doing so.
You get to enjoy the view of the city and recognise the popular spots in the city. You can also view the windmills far away. The revolving restaurant is a must visit if you would like to experience more. Book the restaurant well in advance as they sellout really quickly. I would suggest to visit the tv tower at the end of the tour once you have seen most of the touristic spots. The tower breakfast was amazing.
Great views that give you a general layout of the city and point out interesting places to visit. I would recommend it as the first activity you do upon arrival to Berlin, to help you decide what you want to visit
We went at 21:00 and it was PACKED with a group of teenagers on a trip. You didnt have space to check displays as there were way too many people in that narrow space. Also, at that hour, you couldnt take good pictures because of the reflection from the light panels inside the tower. Absolutely not worth the price.
Spaces can fill up so best to book in advance, this can be done on machine at tower which may have a queue or online which saves queues or disappointment. With only later Saturday slots available eating into valuable drinking time we opted for 10am on the Sunday. Easy to book online. Once there staff were happy and polite, tower gives a great overview of the city with an option to dine at the restraunt or have a drink at the bar.
Nice view, but a bit crowded and quite expensive. Still impressive to see the whole city. Best to book in advance to avoid the waiting line...
Heard its a 1 way up trip to see around berlin but we didnt went due to its pricing. Still doesnt look as tall as the one where im from. Kl tower
Always nice to get a view over the surroundings when visiting a city! Easy to find landmark by Alexanderplatz. €25 for the entrance and then the 6m/s elevator up! Tip: If you dont get tickets at the time slot you want (in the ticket kiosk outside or online), go inside to the women in the ticket station. We got tickets for immediate entrance. Not a very clear day the day we visited. Minus one star for dirty windows...
Great views of Berlin. Puts the city in context. The Berlin experience virtual reality thing was also good. Thought wed booked for the restaurant as well but something went awry in the booking process. Charitably, Ill say it must have been my fault!
Tickets are on the more expensive side, but are well worth it if you ask me. Getting to see berlin 360° from this high up is just something else. On a nice day you can really see everything. There is also a bar with drinks at the top. I highly recommend.
Went there for my anniversary and it was really nice. You get to see the whole city view. We paid around 28€ per person booked it through get your guide. It’s better to get the tickets before if you want to go to the restaurant and reserve it.The dine in restaurant is at the top and it revolves around slowly and you get to enjoy the city view as you’re seated.
went at night so there was no queue and we went straight in and to the top, would not recommend as the view was quite dark and the reflection from inside meant the pictures came out bad. We think it would be a lot better during the day when you can actually see the landmarks.
Beautiful view over the city. Entree fee is quite expensive but when the weather is clear definitely worth it. Elevator has a glass roof which looks cool when going up or down
Great experience seeing all of Berlin in the tower. If you dont know what to do in the city this is a great place to start. Theres information for most buildings in the tower so you can make yourself a list of places youd like to visit later on.There are only two ticket machines outside, my visit was in September and it wasnt that busy, but I would recommend booking beforehand.
A really amazing place to visit as you get to see all of berlin from above. The price are acceptable however I suggest to buy tickets online as the waiting time can take up to 20 to 30 minutes.
August 2022 • Cool observatory with information on each major landmark (and then somethat you can see from up there! Yes its a little pricey and generally crowded, but i still felt it was worth the visit. Must reserve tickets online ahead of time for a particular time slot, so plan ahead!
Tickets cost c€25 which is not cheap but it is an unforgettable experience. The lift up is ultra fast and then suddenly youre in the sky! Dont miss the first floor exhibition about the building of the tower itself.
Ticket costs about 21 euros but the experience is well worth the cost. You can download a tiny app to your smart phone for an enhanced experience. On a clear day you can see a long ways in every direction. Helpful signs inform you about things of interest. A restaurant and bar are available as well as a clean bathroom.
It costs €25 to go to the observation deck and is worth every cent. Theres no time limit and a wealth of information at each viewing window. The stunning architecture at the base feels like a 1960s sci-fi set. Rather than queue for a ticket its far easier to buy on line and pick your time of entry.
Very nice place to see the city. It is not crowded. You can go only to see the panorama of the city, but the restorant is great as well. Go during the sunset.
Lovely place, first of all its an experience to go 200mtre up, then the views from the observation desk was great. Very well maintained tower. Revolving Restaurant is also really nice with staff being really courteous. Apart from this, the history view by the VR is really great and gives you good background not only on the tower but also the history of Berlin and Germany. All is all fantastic experience.
Goes without saying it’s a wonderful view of the city and a fun experience for all ages. The bar was quite pricey but the cocktails were top standard. I highly recommend the amaretto one! The staff were friendly and polite too. We did the VR experience downstairs afterwards which is a good 20 minutes of fun and leaves you feeling a bit wobbly - worth doing as an entertaining add on for only €4! Only thing that would make me criticise the experience is the price, but definitely worth doing anyhow.
Do you expect to see something amazing? Maybe in other building because this one was full of people and was very difficult to enjoy the moment. The worst 25€ invested in Berlin. Not for the prize, for the mass use. Moreover, the bar was closed.
It is nice place to visit. You have an amazing view over the city and surrounding areas. Also loved the "communism/sixties" style inside the building.
Great experience to see the Berlin city view from the top of the tower and that too from a very good height. The view from the elevator while reaching at the top was quite stunning and spectacular. One can also buy souvenirs from the ground floor. There is a restaurant at the top floor but it was closed at that time. If you have a very less time to see Berlin then from this tower one can see almost everything that he/she has missed.
Impressive structure with a long and interesting history. Great 360 view over Berlin. Bar exists. Restaurant exists. My ticket also included an awesome 15 minute VR-experience where you found yourself flying through Berlin from the tear of 1200 to present day, very spectacular.
An excellent way of quickly getting the Berlin lay of the land given the aerial views. The hospitality could be better but it’s a go to tourist spot so factor that in…
It was underwhelming for me. High sights over the city are achievable everywhere. Id prefer the more open air sights of the churchs. But nevertheless, a really good option to see the sights of Berlin from the sky.
Very crowded around the tower, but it is a nice area which is a must see in Berlin! The tower itself was also VERY crowded! But the view was amazing, and it is also recommended to reserve a table in the restaurant in advance, this gives you an amazing experience - Dinner with a great view!
Great place for anyone visiting Berllin. The views are excellent
It was very interesting experience with the tower. The evelator was super fast and soft, you cant even feel anything. The view was incredible with the whole city in sunset
Simply awesome ! Been here from time to time always wowBuy tickets before hand otherwise - long wait
Beautiful place to visit. Very peaceful with a great selection of unique flowers. Worth a visit
Beautiful view of Berlin and quite informative but way too expensive for what you get, which is basically a 40 second elevator ride and then a 20 minute lookout. The restaurant is a tourist trap. It’s cool to sit in a spinning table by the window with the view but the food is terrible and the service is so slow. I’d recommend this to someone visiting Berlin for the first time, but probably won’t go back.
Very nice, great views, central Berlin! Definitely worth going up and the money!!Well done Fernsehturm
The 360-degree restaurant on the second floor of the tower provided a spectacular view of Berlin. The view at night is incredible, its like dining in the sky while looking down on Berlin.
Just the best view in the city. An amazing experience well worth the cost.
It is a good experience to see Berlin 203 m up. It is like a rotating restaurant, which is a good experience for me, having to see Berlin 360 while sitting and sipping your drink. I suggest you eat first and have your drinks here, the food is not that bad, not that good either. You are time bounded so might as well come on time. Staffs are okay but not friendly. Theres an observation deck below make sure to bring coins… might as well book that if you are in it for the view
The tower offered a really lovely panoramic view of Berlin. We went at night, but did not feel like weve missed anything, as there is an app that shows what exactly youre looking at and gives you more information (you can even see where the entire Berlin Wall was located!). The elevator ride was really smooth and fast, considering the height of the tower.
The view is amazing!! The place is very organized and all staff working there very polite. I did not spend much time in the line to buy the ticket and take the lift. The price is a little expensive and if you don’t visit the restaurant you might spend 1 hour for the tour max. For sure it is a very nice place to visit!
A beautiful and very attractive place were you can see each corner of Berlin. When visiting Berlin, its a must do visit
We went to the restaurant for a lunchtime treat on the first day we arrived in Berlin. It was a cloudy day but the view from the top was still fab. The trip up in the lift was nearly worth the journey alone. The restaurant food was good although I definitely had better in other restaurant around Berlin but you are paying for the view. The staff were really lovely and helpful even offering to take pictures of us with our cocktails and directing us so we would get the best shot! : After lunch we went down to the viewing level and spent a good hour reading through all the information. A great way to get a sense of the city and find out some interesting spots to head to later on our trip.
Expensive. I think the ticket was 21 Euro, so for 3 people thats over 60, which is the equivalent of a pretty decent meal in the city. By the time we went up, it was already past sunset, and the lights inside were too dim to read some of the signs with information about the buildings you were looking at.Then, Berlin isnt really that beautiful of a city. Everywhere you look its just white/gray buildings. I believe this visit is romanticized, personally I would rather invite someone to walk around and eat Currywurst than to climb the tower.
I havent been inside but it looks amazing from the outside. Definitely one of the symbols of Berlin.
Nice view from Berlin. It has inidications of important points, but some are really far and you cant actually see them very clear. Is not expensive to go to the top. I havent gone to the bar or restaurant although. Also, it always has a lot of people, so you have to wait a little some time to get a space to have a nice view or be able to read the explanations.
Place: 5/5Experience: 4/5The line tends to be long so buy your tickets beforehand on the Internet to save time. The view from the top is great and there are pictures of the city with explanation so you can easily locate the most important landmarks.Tip: Check the time of the sunset on the day you want to visit the tower. This way you can have the view of Berlin both by day and by night.
The 300+ meter observation deck was very neat, but if you are deciding between this and another location I would go with the second option. The cloud/ fog coverage plays a significant role in the ability to view depicted sites along the 360 route on the observation deck. A restaurant is available, however, I would not recommend eating lunch due to the very limited menu.
It is a must do when in Berlin, since you can see the city from above. And the elevator climbing is spectacular with it s glass ceiling

Exciting tourist spot with good views. Tourist friendly with English, German, French and Spanish descriptions. There was discounts with the Berlin City Tour Card which unfortunately can’t be used with advanced admissions tickets online. Sunset is a great time to head up to see the 360 view of Berlin
