Forster NSW 2428, Australia, Forster
Coastal lookout point offering picturesque, sweeping views of the surrounding cliffs & Tasman Sea.
We were extremely lucky to be there as some whales were heading south. What a buzz. Great views of the Forster Tuncurry coastline too.
The location of the premises is fantastic. There is a long walk along the beach which is also fantastic. The town is close by, walking distance. The pros and cons of the propertyWhat we liked:- The internal of the house was very clean and one could view the ocean from their rooms. The utensils provided was sufficient for normal cooking. What we didnt like:- No Air conditioner for heating. 2 oil heaters were provided for the whole home upstairs and down stairs. We did feel the cold with the heaters on to the maximum. The furniture, all the chairs , tables and beds are made of iron and as oldies found it difficult to move the chairs around.Recommendation:- The house is more suitable for the younger generation who could move the chairs and not for the seniors. It will be a plus point if all the furnishers are replaced.
Great views of the coast of Forster and Tuncurry.
Awesome cliff top views and beautiful sand dunes and surf beach(One Mile Beachon the south end
Lovely outlook on a beautiful day. Great if you have a drone too!
Great views from here, nice walking track, we worth going to see.
Spectacular views. With a binoculars and a bit luck, you can spot whales from here.
Not much parking available as this place is very busy during weekends.absolutely breathtaking view!
Nice and easy walk with great views. No facilities around.
Beautiful lookout and easy stroll and very scenic
Fantastic views across the walk to 1 Mile Beach. Problem is Council has not maintained the walkways. The overgrowth of undesirable bushes spoils the area.
One of the best little lookouts in Forster with an relatively easy bushwalk along the headland taking in other vantage points
we did this walk with a pram. there is only say 12 steps right at the start otherwise. it’s all quiet pram friendly. we just carried it up. you can go on the road but cars do fly up the hill. The lookout half way up is also quite beautiful
Beautiful view great walking track and pet friendly area the entire walk 😀
I have been there for family trip. We watched 20 dolphins. It was awesome!!!Nice view & dolphins!!One of best attractions in Forster.
Absolutely breathtaking!!!
So beautiful walk side it’s amazing
like the view here very much !
Nice lookout with great views. Easy walk to one mile beach. Flat walk with a dozen of steps. Pretty good.
Great vantage point view...Tuncurry beach..an 7 mile Beach... cliffs ..walking trail to ..1...mile Beach..
Good views over Forster. Walk all the way over to the other side of the headland. Plenty of nice lookouts.
A breathtakingly beautiful lookout.
This is one of the best lookouts we’ve ever been to. It’s so special that you can see down to the coastline, with dolphins playing around the rocks and above the sand. Be sure to take the walk to the sand dunes on the other side.
Great scenic view. No nearby toilets but perhaps its better that way. The trail leads you to the sand dunes
Nice walking trail, good distance view. No much shade though.
Windswept coast with a hint of whales - or was it just turbulence out at sea?A well appointed path leads to scenic splendour. Popular with tourists and locals (including leashed dogs).
Great walk from Forster main beach. Up hill most of the walk, can drive and park nearby though (wheel chair accessible).
The lookout offers pretty spectacular views across the Tasman Sea.There is a walking track that leads down to the One mile beach but its steep. The walking path runs along the coastline offering pretty amazing views & there are multiple viewing decks along the path.A great place to visit with plenty of street parking.
Gorgeous views. Well worth the walk to get here.
Nice lookout with 3 viewing areas. Easy access, and a short walk between each. Path is well maintained but walk can be quite steep if you do a full loop.
Great views of the Tasman Sea with awe-inspiring cliff faces. Relatively easy walk from Forster town. Must do in Forster or Mid North Coast.
Fabulous beach walk with stunning beach and ocean views. Well worth the visit.
Contrary to most lookouts in the area, this one is effortlessly accessible and the view is incredible too.
Gorgeous look out! A beautiful walk down the look out to the top of the sand dune at One Mile Beach. Beautiful picnic stop too.
Absolutely stunning views from this lookout. There is also a walk down on a path and that has multiple stopping points to look at the views. When you reach the bottom you’ll see the top of One mile beach which is another spot I highly recommend visiting. There is also a picnic table at one of the lookout spots which would be a great place to have lunch while looking at the view or to watch the sunset.
Nice and easy access. Dont miss out the coastal walk to the beach!
Nice lookout at the top of a high point. You can see all the way out to where the ocean meets the sky. Multiple places to stop and look at different views with tunnels of trees to travel inbetween. At the end of the walk you reach the beach which is nice to end on. However, if you drove to the top of the lookout, you now have to travel all the way back up!
Rotary walk is just beautiful at this time of day
Great lookout with 3 different viewing platforms. I’d certainly take some insect repellant the mosquitoes were crazy.
amazing view over northern towns and great ocean view!!
nice walk path with blue water
Absolutley Stunning View!To be enjoyed with the smell of aeroguard in the nostrils however!Mozzies are ravenous on the path next to the lookout towards one mile beach totally worth the bug spray cause it is just so incredibly wide and expansive. Such beautifull Australian scenery
Stunning views. Well worth the walk from town but if youre not up to that you can drive most of the way.
Nice view. Great for quick visit.
Very nice view points, be aware this place was extremely windy and blended with sand makes it tough to walk around. Shades and sun tan are a must !
Very scenic place nice walk paths, it is a must to see if you are in the area.
Great views easy walk
Wonderful place where you can enjoy great views of the sea and its cliffs. It has a small parking and with a very good access for all public and very good care.
Highlight of our weekend away! Amazing walking trail that takes you to the beach! Scenic views all round - highly recommended when in Forster!
Great lookout! Short stroll to view the sheer cliffs dropping into the Pacific Ocean. Stroll ends at access to One Mile Beach.
