Benihana in Bucuresti

Really loved the food and the atmosphere! We were lucky to get chef Rene, he prepares excellent food+ he was super entertaining! Will definitely come back.

Such a lovely experience, very kind service with Glenn the chef and Seri (I think was his namethe Waiter. They even provided a big sturdy cushion for my toddler to sit on (so she would feel like the grown ups). The food was lovely. However I feel it was more about the grill experience, as the food was good but not amazing. Thank you for hosting us🌹.

My first time at Benihana and it did not dissapoint! It was such an incredible culinary adventure and special thanks go to our cook, Antony! The food was soooo good! Can not praise it enough! I highly recommend the tuna stake which basically just melts into your mouth and the seafood diablo menu!

Overall experience was ok.The chef was very endearing, and the food was ok, just not really amazing or wow.The ice cream desert was disappointing, as it had shards of dense ice in it.Overall, its something Id recommend.

Probably one of the best teppanyaki tables in town. The chef’s presentation was spectacular. Quality ingredients. Very enjoyable meal, especially when sharing the table with pleasant people.

I was in this restaurant almost a 10 years ago, the first time I visited Bucharest. The atmosphere is fantastic, food is delicious and service on the high level. If you are looking for a business dinner or dating or family and friends visit, so that is my recommendations. It is located in the Sheraton hotel.

We’ve been to this restaurant on the 5th of April 2022 in the evening. The prices were way too expensive for the quality of food that we eat. We’ve been to the same restaurants with the same concepts and you can’t compare. Also, the portions of food are little.But the biggest disappointment was that the WAITER and the team that’s behind the restaurant ( not the guy that cooks in front of you, he/she is great ). First of all, we ordered 2 menus and they intentionally “ forgot “ to bring us the rice and soup for the second one. We were obligated to ask for it and was obvious that they didnt forget about it.Also, they didnt get us the desert. The waiter was worse and also if you didnt look rich or important you had no chance.Never again in that location. We suggest you don’t go either!!!PS. We’ve been around the world and we know what we are talking about.

Amazing experience! We got the best and funniest chef ending up not just with a delicious dinner, but aswell with a stand up comedy show!

It was awesome. Beautiful atmosphere, awesome staff from the moment you enter Benihana untill you leave with a big smile on your face. The chef that cooked at our tabele was 10+, he made a show of its cooking style, he made us laugh, he made as feel good. And the food was 10+. Made it perfect for our taste/preferences (o cant eat spicy food but wanted something that was spicy and he made it just for me so i could eat it). The serving is just perfect. Yes it is a little pricy but just because you have high quality of everything so.. worth it.

The food is good. A LOT of smoke and if you ask something that is on the other table the response was: yes we can do it for him is a special client but for you not. Very nice.

These 4 stars I give to the woman who answered the phone and stood in the bartender. She was the only person who made me feel polite and professional. Everything else is not worth 1 star.

I really enjoyed my first time at Benihana, the chefs put up a great show when preparing the food in front of you, playing with fire. Ours was particularly friendly and had lots of tricks up his sleeve. The beef steak was tasty and really tender and the fried rice with eggs that went with it was great as well. Sushi was ok, not the best Ive had, I would say.Its a pricey place for Bucharest (its located inside the Sheraton hotel, thats a hint), but the main courses include lots of extra stuff (onion soup, salad, seafood, some delicious ice-cream, etcso overall I think the experience was worth the bill. If youre looking for something tasty and out of the ordinary, go for it.

We always come here for the sushi ♥️ which is definitely the best in Bucharest. Weve also tried the beef and lobster, also very good, but the portions were a bit smaller than expected. The service is excellent every single time.

Franchise of famous US chain of restaurants. Same menu and standards. If you order tuna/scallops (my favorite hereor any main food option, you also get lot of appetizers. Lot of sauces. Be prepared for high calorie intake!

Ive been at this place several times. Every single time the food was delicious. There is no difference between this location and Benihana North America. Good job Guys.

As an American I thought this place was just an average Benihana. The "chef" was not very good and the meal was overpriced. ~$40 for something that costs $26 in San Diego. However, if you need a meal and have tired feet its a good choice and you know what you are getting.

Food is awesome as always, cook was great, we had a birthday celebration. Totally recommend

I am a frequent clien of Benihana Bucharest since their openings. Recently I was very surprised to see that they changed the payment of the bill system in a very unusual way. As a client you can not see the bill before making the payemen! With other words for cards payement you pay and only after they are able to print the bill so you can check if the total included all your food and drinks. This is a unique procedure which makes all the clients unhappy.They fixed the issue. Good job! I will change my review to 4 stars.

Nice surprise, with live table cooking and mostly gorgeous food; very entertaining; kind staff; rather steep prices but you get a lot beside the main order; free hotel wi-fi; private paid parking; no outdoor seating; no smoking;

Restaurant is a little bit hidden in the hotel, you have to go to the first floor. The food was delicious, we had fish and fillet mignon, both were prepared well. The cook gave us the show as you can see on the picture.A big kudos to Gabriel, our waiter, how was an amazing host and helped us with everything we needed. Thanks!

Party of 5 (parents and three kids 7,12,17 years old). Restaurant was still empty as we arrived early (7.15pm). Chef was very funny and the food as good as the branch in Cupertino (prices are the same too). Always an experience. And order Rockys choice.

One of the best japanese restaurant that i"ve been. Delicious tepaniaki food with style cooking show made by master chefs directly on your table. You order the main course and you"ll get an extra free apetizer , soup and ice cream. The cocktails are correctly done. I give 5 stars for Benihana Bucharest Sheraton Hotel.

Slow service, low quality food. Not a usual Benihana experience.A whole bottle of water charged for a glass, Bento lunch box is not recommended at all.Find a better place in the city - for sure you will!

Very high prices, sometimes not fully justified by the quality of the products, of the serving & services. We did appreciate however that we were allowed to order some dishes from the Avalon restaurant menu (chill cucumber and avocado soup - that not everybody liked, only the cucumber could be tasted).

Came here for lunch and had a very sad bento box that reminded more of a school lunch. Half way through my meal they started cleaning the floors with a pretty load polishing machine. I left my soggy and fatty shrimp empire and over cooked salmon teriyaki behind and felt not to return

As a chain restaurant the food quality is really good. The food tastes the same as in Benihana, San Francisco, CA. Also the service and the show our chef, Julius, put on were exceptional.
