Ben's Soft Pretzels in South Bend

I love Bens but this location is awful. Today is only the 4th time Ive been to this one and of those 4 times, twice Ive gotten home (4 minutes awayand the pretzels were so hard they were inedible due to being so old... Ill never come back to this one. Never had this happen from any other location.

Pretzels are excellent! Workers are polite and courteous. This is Indiana, we have our own kind of pretzel. We dont need to copy New York! LolIf we all made pretzels the same life would be boring. Do yourself a favor and get a Bens Pretzel!

The last couple times I have went in there have been no pretzels in the middle of the day the ones I get are burnt and hard. Today wasn’t any different had pretzel sticks or one jumbo pretzel to choose from both were burnt. The girl was on her phone the whole time she was helping me didn’t put her phone down once never had that happen but it was almost like I was inheeding on her time on her phone and she didn’t like it at all. Used to make it a stop when I was in south bend never again.

Some of the best pretzels I have ever had. And I consider myself a pretzel connoisseur. It is an Amish style pretzel.

I walked in ordered 2 pretzel dogs was there for 35 mins eaiting Only customer and he did not give me my cheese I paid for 1 nacho 1 chedder

Its the best pretzels youll find. My kids are always begging to swing by. Being connected to the Chocolate Cafe and Kids zone makes it that much better.

In a shared space with south bend chocolate, though has its own enterance. Seating is almost non existent in that space, but I assume you could sit in the many options with the chocolate company. I went after work and was displeased to see everything was premade, however the sticks were better than expected. I prefer finding bens pretzels at the farmers market or a sporting event where they are being made fresh and hot n constantly and you can watch, however the demand is not present in this location. They have snack sized bites that would be great for sharing nd kids and there is access to the kids play area in the chocolate company. My plan is to try arround lunch someday. Only pretzel place I know of in town. If you are used to east coast style pretzels be warned, this is very different.
